"You look like WHAT under there??"

The Outfit station is arguably one of the best features that's been rolled out in ESO to date. After a year or so we've come to take this for granted a little, forgetting what armor actually looks like under our meticulously styled outfits. Today I was flipping through my outfit options when I stumbled across what my actual armor looks like right now.

Outfit 1:                                                                        Outfit 2:                                                                    What I actually look like:

Anyone else had this experience? Show us what your characters look like under your carefully constructed garb!

Sadly I am still far too new at the game to have a decent collection of outfits or the ability to change my style all that much. Or at least I think I am...I've looked into the Outfit Station a couple times (glanced at it really) and have no idea how it works so...yeah.

Point is, I'm very boring and all my guys are just running around in early game armour in whatever style they should be wearing (Orc for my Orc, Imperial for my Imperial, etc.) :P Oh, actually I think I have a few of the generic outfits that you get for progressing through the Faction Quests, so one of my guys is wearing the Third Faction's outfit.

One of the things I don't like about the outfit system is that it took a way a certain creativity. I mean, in the old days if we wanted a specific look we'd have to craft it then dye it. There was sense of accomplishment and wearing something you created from scratch. I don't dislike the outfit system, and it's a lot easier but also very expensive to apply the look you want which is just an illusion. Underneath the glam there be monsters.

Here's a couple of my before and afters, Castus looking like a Tusken Raider and Sir Paws dressed as some sort of Satanic goblin:
