Investigating a Possible "Unmarked Quest"

Hey guys! So, whilst running around Stonefalls, I learned about, and then did, a quest called "The Fetish". While being an actual quest that shows up in your Journal, it's obtained from a merchant that has a unique item--crucially, the merchant doesn't have a marker, and is pretty out of the way. It also incorporates an NPC in Kragenmoor that was semi-unique in that he had dialogue, yet no importance; this does happen, so I didn't think much of it until doing the quest. But upon completing the quest, and reading about other quests without a marker to point you to them, I began some sleuthing. And I think I'm actually on the trail to another "unmarked quest" that no one seems to have found before!

I also posted this on the ESO forums, for the record.

Working off a random burst of insanity inspiration, I did some digging on a character named Trouble-Finder, also in Stonefalls. He's an Argonian near Senie, who's life is pretty much a series of hilariously cruel twists of fate. Among his many, many woes is the fact that he tried to open a mine right at a site of Daedric worship.

    The Unluckiest Argonian Ever

Interestingly though, in the Davon's Watch Mages Guild, there's a woman on the lower floor with a vested interest in Daedra. She mentions that there is a rumored shrine to Hermaeus Mora "at the slopes of Ash Mountain"--an area where Senie and Trouble-Finder can be found.

    The Scholar

Even more interestingly, a path of torches near T-F's location leads to a large 'mine-type' door. You can't actually interact with it, which is suspicious enough, but there's a nearby note from a worshiper of Hermaeus Mora, detailing an attack on their temple by a rival cult.

    A Random Door Appeared!

    Random Door used Tantalizing Info!

    Location of the Door

Then, following a hunch and some mysterious structures on the map, I found various makeshift 'camps' in a small area; judging by the pickaxes and shovels, I'd say there was something to do with mining here at one point...

    A Mining Camp!? NANI!?

All in all, there seems like a lot of info here revolving around this mystery Mora shrine ordeal, and I can't shake the feeling it leads to another 'The Fetish' style mini-quest. What do you guys think?

Good bit of detective work here, dude. Are we thinking unmarked quest or content unfinished in the final release? I wish I could say I had any sort of familiarity to the above, but, ugh... EP. I tend to get through Stonefalls and Deshaan as quickly as possible and by doing a minimum of sidequests. A Hermaeus Mora shrine may have really caught my attention. I'll be interested to see what else you uncover!

@Paws I'd really love to find an actual unmarked quest, especially since those have been found in a few seperate base-game areas. Of course, 'unmarked' in ESO means 'no quest pointer', so I'll get an actual Journal entry if I find the right NPC/item/landmark/Lusty Argonian Maid tome (you never know...)

That being said, I do know that these may just be remnants of an unfinished quest. Either way, its a cool side-project! And, of course, another way to exercise my logic and sanity. Or lack thereof.

On a final note, a few maybe-related sites I'm looking into are: Ash Mountain (there are a few ruined Daedric structures with seemingly no relevance), Emberflint Mine + Surrounding Area (both the Delve and the little "mining camp" have some pretty heavy Daedric presence, owing to the miniquest there), Brothers of Strife (same as above), and Fort Arand (still really unexplored, but it was supposedly made as a prison for Daedra...)

So, quick post to say that, if anyone else finds a clue (or even the actual quest!), please share the info! I'd love to get to the bottom of this; partially because the story is interesting, and partially so I can move on. :P
