One thing I love to do is set up a vampire lair. Just find an empty cave with no enemy spawns and add skulls, bones, coins, jewels, flaggons and other clutter. With time as more powerful things get stored in your cave it will start to look and feel awesome when u hide out for the day. Its just a small thing I tend to do when playing vampires, makes me feel liek a predator.

I once Played a Feral Vampire before Dawnguard came out. Rip-The-Throat was an Argonian Vampire with an Unarmed Fighting style. It felt so Awesome to sneak into town at vampire stage 4 and just rip people apart raise them and slide back into the shadows.
I did a Similar thing like you did with the cave. I spent my days lurking in the Hall of the Dead eating my catch from the previous night and thus decorating the place with corpses :D

I've done something in a similar vein to this, but instead of a vampire I was playing a dark magic type guy. Just based on the character my decoration was a little more covert - a soul gem here and there, a bone or a heart hidden away behind a book, the bookshelves mysteriously filled with forbidden texts. Doesn't look as cool as yours obviously, but I kinda like leaving little hints of personality just around the house, I mean its what we all do afert all.

I'm interested in using the Lady Stone to roleplay a custom strain with innate regen, but I also want to join the Volkihar (who I'm pretty sure have the same amount of sun weakness as sanguinare vampiris). How could I explain having the regen boost even after becoming a Volkihar vamp lord?
