We've decided to put this guy under 'Good Warrior' unless you oppose it, mate. Creating a whole other category was a bit much, but we really think that this guy would fit in the warrior category, and killing dragons seems like quite a good thing to do.

 

By all means do with what you want. Warrior works for me. When coming uo with this backstory I had the idea of a pure mage. But warrior works for me. Thanks for the feedback.

Mage you say? Sorry bridge, I just assumed warrior for some reason. If you want, we can change it to a mage, it's your backstory after all.

This topic looks a little dead, but I had an idea for a backstory and figured I'd post it here anyways. Not entirely sure what category it would fit into, but here it is. “I take it you've seen them? A lone shadow peeking out from behind a tree trunk; there one moment, gone the next? A stray arrow from nowhere burying itself into the skull of some beast before it can clamp its maw down on your neck? Well, so have others. They say it's a ghost. The soul of some poor unfortunate hunter, cursed to forever walk the land.….Course that's just superstitious rubbish spreaded by people whose heads are thicker than they should be. And I know that because I knew this ‘ghost’. Hell, I grew up with them, right here in Falkreath. Back then they weren't the spectre they now make themself out to be. Back then they were just an ordinary child, relatively well off. Father was quite the alchemist; wasn't a potion or poison he couldn't make. Wanted nothing more than to have his child learn the trade. And undoubtedly they picked up some of their father’s tonics and remedies. But they were too free spirited and lacked the discipline to make a promising apprentice. More often than not, they were out in the woods exploring instead of holed up in the study going over their father's notes. That child and the woods had a special relationship. I suppose that's because it was the only place they ever really felt at peace. Terribly shy, they were; couldn't even stand being looked at by most people. Out there in the woods though, there wasn't anybody. Just them and nature. I guess you could say they got along better with their mother. She fancied hunting for sport and tended to make frequent trips into the wilderness. It's only natural that they started practicing archery with her. And soon they were hunting with her, and learning to skin game with her, and so on. Something about it; having a bow in hand while out in the wild, it gave them a confidence they rarely ever had. Unfortunately, the sad truth of life is that no good things lasts forever. Supposedly their parents contracted something, but if you ask me, a well versed alchemist and his wife come down with a simple disease and he can't cure it? Doesn't seem quite right… Anyways, enough conspiracy, back to the story. You'd think people would show some compassion to a child who's going through some rough times, but you'd be wrong. Hard to earn any sympathy when you constantly skulk in shadows and try to avoid social contact at every chance. So they went with the only option they had to provide income, hunting. But while hunting came naturally, bartering was a different story. One you can be sure that merchants were certain to abuse. Eventually nature ran its course and a few months later their parents succumbed to their illness. Probably wondering what happened to the child, right? That's the thing though, nobody knows what happened to them after that. But if I was to make a bet, I'd say they went to the one place they ever truly felt at home. Looking good mate, I especially like that it's told like a story. I'm thinking Good Archer? As they seem to like saving people's lives. I'll stick it there for now, but if you want it somewhere else don't hesitate to ask.
