Hello, welcome to my guide for those who walks under the night of the moon, the cursed predators of the night... The vampires.

You're dead, accept it! You can't feel anything but hunger! Hunger for power! Hunger for control! Hunger for blood! Don't fool yourself saying that you're still human because you're not, you're a predator...

Search for the finest blood, probably the blood of the town's drunk isn't as tasty as the blood of an noble, go always for the better.

Also, don't eat common food (Like bread, garlic and fish) they taste like ash - Blood is your only food for your entire lifetime.

You need to feed!, I something see people walking around as stage 4 vampires without problem, a vampire at stage four should have lost all the sanity! The beast within is in charge of you now, and he wants blood!

At stage four you should feed of the first human being that you see, doesn't matter if you're being watched, the beast doesn't care if you're being watched, he just wants blood and he will get it!

Doesn't go near holy places, such as chapels, the gods have forsaken you since the day that you turned, they don't want you near their places of worship, they will not bless you.

Beds aren't confortable anymore, your coffin is your resting place and the only place that you can truly rest

There's no "good vampire" - only Neutral Vampires, Bad Vampires and Worse Vampires, you can say that you're good because you only feed from evil people like bandits and doesn't kill the innocent, but just being a vampire means that you're evil! A cursed being forced to walk under the light of the moon! You drank the blood of an human being, doesn't matter what he has done in life, every feed is a rape beyond comprehension and just doing it turns you into a evil being.

Feeding from other creatures: if you want to keep some moral on your vampire doesn't act like it is easy, you are a daedric creature after all, if you doesn't want to feed on human beings, eating the flesh of the wild animals can be considered a form of feeding, althought your vampiric powers will not be as powerful as a vampire who feeds in human blood, keep yourself away from society, don't keep relations with people, knowing that the beast can overcome you at any moment.

    * Drinking Animal blood will put your beast under control for 1 day, remember to always keep the beast asleep if you want to keep your morals, if not you are forced to attack and feed on the first human being at range.

"But I never feed" (both on people and on animals) That's wrong! Your a vampire! Not feeding is like not breathing for a human being! A vampire without blood is a feral beast, without any control of his actions! You will do some messed up things in your bloodfrenzy, you can't say that you're good after looking to the blood and the bodies around you after waking from the your frenzy.

Sunlight: doesn't walk around in sunlight, when the first ray of sun appear you should run to the nearest hideout and stay there, if you need to walk around in sunlight you should wear the bulkiest armor and a hood/closed helm, to create a shell to keep the sun away, it will help you stand it, but you are weak and irritated, you shouldn't take part in any combat, or cast spells, or use your vampire powers, all your energy and willpower are focused in not dying because of the sunlight.

Hidden EnemiesNamira "While the daedric prince who aligns herself with nature, Namira, is most definitely also supernatural, it is important to mention that she stands in bitter opposition to all forms of the undead since they have no place in the ecosystem. As such, she offers her ring to any who would hunt this plague on the living." Doesn't even think about doing Namira's quest, the prince has no reason to bestow that blessing on a undead, since he hates you.

You should probably kill Eola on sight.

Thralls: Taking an follower like Sven can be useful for a "snack" when travelling dungeons or places with little to no human beings (if you are the bad vampire) they aren't useful for combat, but they're your slave, not your bodyguard.

Socialat stage 1/2 you can talk with people as normal, in stage 3 you start feeling irritated by the lack of blood and will answer in the most rude manner, at stage 4 the beast within is in control and you should stop any dialogue and feed.

Changes At Stage 4: Let's assume that inside the soul of an vampire (if they still have one) lives an beast, the beast is sleeping most of the times, but once your bloodlust engage the beast is released and you, the vampire, lose control of your own body.

Now you are a creature of instict, you will hunt and kill everything that moves in hope to sate your bloodlust, when feeding at stage 4 the victim should be killed (the beast was hungry, he doesn't have control, he drinked too much blood, killing the victim)

You can't speak at that stage, when someone try to talk with you close the dialogue and hunt! sometimes they will be too powerful for your vampiric seduction, Kill him and keep looking for a good prey

EVERY VAMPIRE WILL ACT LIKE THAT AT STAGE 4 - even that vampire struggling to be good, is part of his nature, maybe he can learn how control the beast someday... or maybe he will embrace it as part of his being, and let the things happen when they need to happen.

Don't fool yourself saying that you're still human because you're not, you're a predator...

Not everybody is gonna read that the same way.

I'd argue against Fire Magic being off-limits. Imagine a powerful pyromancer being bit by a vampire. He knows he can control magic, why wouldn't he use it? For learning new spells what you said is true but an already accomplished mage should have no problems casting fire/sun magic

It's magic isn't it. Just like the blood that runs cold in the veins of the Vampire. So I agree with Vazgen about the Magic usage as well. If a Vampire was scared shitless of fire then they would have to be the warrior type Vampire. IMO

I wasn't taking the skills that the vampire had in life in account, I will add an note about that.

I disagree with the fact there are no good vampires. One of my vampires actually used his powers of the night to hunt down other vampires.

I agree with Tae. One of my vamp characters, while not entirely a Lawful Good character, still seeks the good of Tamriel (and revenge against Harkon)

He could feed on animals...or shun himself from everyone
