For context ---> https://tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/7/topic_id/9772 Im still open for new ideas and changes but up to now this is the Final Draft.

    Pick any Race you like.

You can choose 2 Novice Spells as Cantrips meaning you always have these Spells and then youre Spell Slots. You can pick a Cantrip even if its only Obtainable later on, things like Bound Dagger.

    No fast travel.

You can use all Magic Schools.

Every Morning after sleeping minimum 6 hours you assign spells to youre Slots, and every time a School hits level 50 you get an extra slot but only for that school.

You start with 5 Slots This Challenge is played on Master or if you are Crazy and want to suffer on Legendary.

Mods are allowed. Werwolf and Vampire Lord are allowed but they take up a slot. Powers exept racials take up a slot You can Put perk points into other Skills than magic exept Smithing Alchemy or enchanting.

    Permadeath.

When a School hits level 100 you get a free Master Spell Slot. Master Spells can still be used in Normal Slots. If you have other Ideas for Mastery let me know.

Only Robes exept for Dragon Priest Masks.

Staffs and Bound Weapons are allowed otherwise no Weapons exept Bound weapons.

Incomplete shouts take up a spell slot. Finished shouts take up 2 slots. You may play the main quest up to the point of retrieving the horn of jurgen windcaller, ignore delphine and bring the horn back to the greybeards. After that stop doing the main quest. Also Roleplay is up to you. Set youre own Goals. Become a Famous Wizard in all the Holds, or End the Civil war. if you Specialize in Illusion do the Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood. If you have any Questions let me know. Also feel free to Post youre characters, Experiences and deaths in the comments.

Perks only in the 5 magic schools I assume? Are you allowed to put perks in vampirism or lycanthropy? Are you even allowed to be a vampire, werewolf, or Nightingale? And are daily special powers to put on spell slots, or are they independent?

    Sup Ay :D

Well the purpose of the Challenge is to be a Pure mage so Companions are out of the picture since they dont like Mages. and who would want to play a werewolf with what 100 hp maybe 150 :D Vampirism is another story since it boosts Illusion and sneak. Just dont use Vamp Lord.

Oh no you can put perks in what you like exept crafting and Armor skills. Bound Weapons are allowed so are the 1 handed 2 handed and Archery as long as you dont use actual weapons its fine.

Also you dont have to use all Schools but its recommended since you get a bigger Arsenal to deal with different Scenarios. Or just drop a School and use the skills to power up youre main School.^^

Right now im level 5 focusing on Conjuration and Illusion, but i still use Turn Undead and Firebolt. And my Friend just cleared Saarthal with this Setup : Flame Atronach, Raise Zombie, Bound Sword, Muffle, and Oakflesh playing an Infiltrator Mage.

about the Daily Powers i do it like this Racial power is free everything else takes a slot.

This is interesting, I remember reading your original post and being tempted to give it a go. I'm still tempted although I'm fairly sure I'll create the character and then my burnout will kick in. I'm thinking maybe Clairvoyance and one other spell for the cantrips, maybe transmute ore for a really roleplay setup. I think I'll come back to this later today once I'm at my computer.

It is a ton of fun :D

My lvl 6 Character Charlotte just died, torn to pieces by 4 goddamn Frost Trolls.

My Cantrips were Candle Light and Lesser Ward but i like the Idea with Clairvoyance, and Transmute ore would be awesome to make money selling gold ingots :D. Even finding Spells like Bound Bow and copying them into youre Grimoire is great for Roleplaying.

I had multiple Mini heart attacks because of this playthrough. Bandit chief clobbered me with a Warhammer and i was left with about 10 hp :D

Its really fun Picking different load outs and using the environment to youre advantage caged the Draugr Wright in Saarthal in with my Atronach, opening the gate and taking pot shots at him then closing the gate again :D

i'll definitely be making more characters for this Challenge :D

My first high elf died in the tutorial... My second redguard decided to venture out at night and ran into some vampires at lvl 5, but just before that managed to join the companions by wailing away at Farkas with the bound sword. I really am thinking now that Breton might be the way to go

I met a Single Vampire and a Death Hound outside of Saarthal, almost killed me :D

In Helgen i just let Hadvar deal with everything. Muffle is youre Friend on this Playthrough as well as Summons :D

Breton would be Great due to the Racial ability, i was Imperial for Panic AoE Calm Racial :D

I've decided to give this a go, however since I use some difficulty mods I probably wont be playing on Master difficulty.

I usually have MorrowLoot Ultimate installed but I think I'll deactivate that for this challenge, since it combined with another mod makes the game stupid hard; as in I can't complete Embershard Mine because half of it is filled with high level enemies who hit like trucks.

I will be using Smilodon (the aforementioned difficulty mode) since I like it.

So I've also decided to chronicle my attempts here since it seems appropriate, so onto the good stuff.

My first attempt will be a Khajiit who has the Contrips Healing and Clairvoyance and focuses on Illusion and Alteration. Hopefully this works out.

I'm playing on Expert since I have Smilodon and have made it out of Helgen to Whiterun, where I broke into a bunch of the buildings and stole a bunch of stuff (including some new clothes) and have now travelled to Riften for obvious reasons.
