Shield Charge Doesn't Break Invisibility (or Become Ethereal)!

I actually discovered this trick about a month ago, but Elysium and Tae-Rai wanted to debut it in their event builds and Teccam in his upcoming character build before I made a post in T&T about it. So, now that Tae and Ely have posted their event builds and Teccam's build has gone back to the drawing board, I can go ahead and post this.

The title pretty much says all there is to say about this trick; you can knock enemies over with Shield Charge over and over again without ever breaking invisibility (or Become Ethereal), so they'll be sent flying and have no clue why. Of course, sprinting at an enemy makes a fair bit of noise, particularly if your armor's on the heavier side, so I recommend muffling your footsteps when doing this.

Update: Thanks to the folks in the comments who pointed out that this trick also works with Become Ethereal.

Nice one, Al. Thanks for giving us the inside scoop! In a similar vein, the same holds true for Become Ethereal. Henson uses it in his Forgotten, I believe (I forget ).

LOL, I imagine how it would look in the game

Well, you happened to be in the Skype call when I found out.

Just checked Henson's Forgotten; he does use it.

After I found out, I kept doing over and over for the next five minutes.

That's pretty cool Albino  I noticed in my Phynaster build that Shield Charge doesn't break the Become Ethereal shout but I didn't think of Invisibility. Nice find mate!

Thanks! Yeah, Teccam mentioned the Shield Charge + Become Ethereal bit earlier in the comments.

    So he does.

Apparently Henson's The Forgotten uses it too

Same here. Doesn't stop it from being one of the most entertaining perks in the game, if you ask me.
