Unlimited Concentration Casting

    Hmm, so this is weird...

I have the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch, so I'm using a mod to revert the Fortify Restoration exploit of course.  But for some reason, I can't activate the glitch with player-made 18% and 21% Restoration potions at 20 Alchemy like I usually do for the early game.  It works fine with NPC potions, but when I use the player-made ones I end up with XXX.43 because it's rounding to hundreths instead of tenths!

You will be able to equip some extra but you will be limited as you will be in the .4 range rather than the higher .8 one. As I say you can do unlimited stamina independently using boots, use a couple of +50's for the unlimited magicka and then still equip the gauldur amulet after if you want. Or is there a +70 magicka item? Mages circlet possibly? If so you could try that with the gauldur amulet and the philter, draught, philter potion stack. No idea if that combo works though.

But the problem is that I would have to enchant my own boots... there are no +70 stamina cloth boots.  I know you can make a +70 stamina shoe with 100 Enchanting, 4/5 Enchanter, and a total +20% Fortify Enchanting.  Can't remember if Corpus Enchanter comes into play or not for that total.

I really want it to be the Gauldur Amulet, though... maybe I can find a way to get a .8 out of it, so I can equip more stuff?  Hmm, but then I'd also need to massively boost the stamina... grrrr

You can use boots of any strength stamina enchant, you can enable unlimited stamina and unlimited concentration casting separately. The +70 magicka enchant bit was to see if in conjunction with the +30 from the gauldur amulet it would work the same as two +50's.

Dude, that comment is from a year and a half ago

The end of the topic lists all known item/potion combinations for the glitch.  Finding the items is up to you, since loot spawns randomly.

I'm getting this again without any mods installed, can anyone confirm if they can use the glitch successfully on PC version?  Setup: Alchemy 20 (start as Breton) w/ no enchant boosts, make a potion of Fortify Restoration and then grab the first Alchemist perk and make a second.  You should get 18% and 21%.  Drink the 18%, then the 21%, then equip an item with Fortify Magicka and/or Stamina 30 (Novice Hood, any of the Gauldur amulet items).  I know I did this with the Novice Hood on my 360...

I've not heard it said that this doesn't work at all on an unmodded pc version. If that was the case you'd have thought it would have come up before now. Perhaps try a fresh install? I don't know a huge amount about mods but I imagine it's possible that one has made an update to a core file that is not reverted by removing the mod from the load order? Also have you tried using store bought potions to activate the glitch? We know for certain what values they have with no rounding issues. If that worked it would suggest the problem is with the maths for potion creation rather than the glitch itself.

Store bought potions work fine, it's just something with the rounding of values in potion creation I think.  And it's not possible for a mod to alter a core file when installing with Mod Organizer.

I just tested this as an Altmer with the Philter > Draught > Philter of the Healer series on X-Box, and I can confirm that this doesn't work.
