It's like I'm a barbarian trying to understand the senior mage at the mage college.  I'll have to sit down with some time and give it a try.  Thanks for doing this.

Huh, didn't know there was a "Remove Background" feature on PowerPoint. What I mostly do in Photoshop was cut individual pictures from their images, create line around them to make them look nice and layer it over my main picture. Then I spruce it up with a bit of graphic editting.

So yeah... it's kinda like how you're doing on your Powerpoint. Man, do I need to get Photoshop on my computer. The one on my laptop is suuper slooow.

If you have Photoshop, Kaiser, I think you can potentionally do more than I can in PowerPoint. Frankly, PowerPoint is more of a substitute for Photoshop, but I think it´s little bit more user friendly to people from the Vault, respectively more friendly to what we usually do on the Vault. Like, for example I can imagine that in Photoshop you can connect the edges of two pictures that are over each other, that´s something PowerPoint can´t do - I think.

Hey, I felt the same when Lis started playing around with PowerPoint but I think it is somewhat easier to get the hang of, and once you try you´ll see it´s not that difficult.

I have no words. Like, actually no words. I'd struggle to do that effectively/efficiently in paint.net (haven't looked at the Remove Background tool in Powerpoint).

Paint is considerably inefficient on its own in comparison to PowerPoint, but it is a good program to supplement PowerPoint with.

Just a reminder since a few mentioned paint.net; Soly did a tutorial on how to use that as well for enhancements.  It's here in the Art Group as well.

Regarding Power Point, I seem to recall a discussion a while back that there was a way to get it free, or a free alternative that was just as good?  I just don't remember what it was called.  Anyone remember?

I thought I'd try your tutorial and make an image for a build I want to do in the future. A combination of that with this photo editing website I've been using for forever got me some great results. Thanks Karver!

Ah, so this is how you do it! Was talking to Lis about her wizardy with powerpoint and I'm more of a visual learner (no offense Lis you explained it quite well). Glad I stumbled upon this bit of work; this should make doing customized photos much better than what I could orginally do on powerpoint. Appreciate the publication Karv :D
