Greetings fellow members of this illustrious blog, as some of you may know I am Golden Fool, what you don’t know is that I’m here with a message from Alice, Curse and myself. We shall be holding an event in which you can enter any form of Skyrim related art that you can manage; be it a drawing, a screenshot or even some fancy pants photo shopped images.

All entries must be made for the purpose of the event and they must also be made by you yourself, which means we shouldn’t be able to search the image and find it elsewhere understood? Since screenshot’s are being included as part of the event we have decided to limit the number of entries to 3 per person.

All entries are to be posted as photos with the tag #Bonanza and at the end of the event we shall be holding a poll to vote for the sites favourite piece. The winner will be featured, we shall also be creating a gallery of all entries with the winner having the seat of honour as the first piece along with a fancy banner.

The event will run from April 20th to May 4th which should be enough time for you guys to throw together something if you’re interested in participating.

So to sum up the rules:

    • Any form of art is allowed, that includes drawings, screenshots and photo shopped images.
    • All entries must be made for the event and must be made by the person submitting them
    • Only 3 entries may be made per person
    • All entries are to be posted as photos and should include the tag #Bonanza
    • The event shall run from April 20th to May 4th
    • The Event will now run until May 7th

Should anyone have any questions please ask them bellow and Alice, Curse or myself will be happy to answer where we can.

You know I might enter here, I'm no good at art but I wouldn't mind giving some of that fancy Photoshop stuff a bit of a go... Just a question would I have to take screenshots myself or could I just nab some of the interwebs (and give credit of course). So all I gotta do is upload a Skyrim related photo that I've Drawn/Taken a Shot of or Photoshopped personally, coolio.

Alternatively I'd be happy to work  Love to work with someone who can take pretty screenshots.

By the way everyone should give it a shot even if you think you aren't that good, you may surprise yourself even.

I can draw something vaguely resembling a house using Paint. What if I add something vaguely resembling a tower to one side and claim it's Heljarchen Hall, would that be a worthy contribution?

Phil I'm sure the good people of the blog wont be voting based solely on the quality of the entries, but also on how much they enjoyed it, if that should be how much they laughed it is out of our hands

Dragonborn using found images in your editing should be fine as long as you have edited them enough for it to be considered an original work (credit the original of course). So basically you can use it as a base, but there should be some significant change (as apposed to throwing a filter over the top or some other similarly basic thing).

Phil the point of the event is to encourage people to give art a go when they normally wouldn't have done so (and to also bring some more activity here, but that's beside the point).

In that case you have achieved your goal and I so far, by default, am winning!
