That Place Where I Post Those Pictures That I've Drawn

I recently rediscovered an old hobby of mine, that being drawing. While I believe I can draw people I usually prefer illustrating inanimate objects as I find them a lot (and I mean a lot) easier to draw; so this is where I will be compiling what Skyrim related 'things' I draw.

Any suggestions for what I should draw next are welcomed and I will take them into consideration when planing future pieces...

I also have a Deviantart account and while it is mostly just this stuff there will at some point also be some non TES stuff. If you're interested it can be found here: Gold-en-Fool.

    Final Resting Place

    Every story has an ending.

Curse Never Dying was kind(/Interested) enough to add some colour to this which can be found here.

    The Lady

Those under the sign of The Lady regenerate Health and Stamina more quickly.

    The Guardians

Those under the sign of the Thief will learn all stealth skills 20% faster.

Those under the sign of The Mage will learn all magic skills 20% faster.

Those under the sign of the Warrior will learn all combat skills 20% faster.

When first planing on drawing these three I was unsure about whether or not to keep them together or do them each separately. I eventually decided to keep them together as they are in the game.

    The Lord

Those under the sign of The Lord are more resistant to both Magical and physical damage.

    Study

One of my characters has decided to read up on the arts of conjuration and restoration.

    The Ritual

Once a day, those under the sign of The Ritual can reanimate nearby corpses to fight for them

    Fond Memories

Looking up at his old sword brought back the memory of the day that he had hung up his closest friend for good. Some days he missed the time that he had spent adventuring across the holds of Skyrim, but he knew that if he ever did set out with his friend again he would never return to the small hut that he now shared with his wife.

    Auriel's Shield

While I'm not quite sure what to think of the scars across the face of the it I do like how the rest of the shield turned out.

    Ring of Hircine

This is based off of an image of a ring that someone had made, that was based off of the ring from in game. Seems overly complex doesn't it, well I couldn't find an image from in game that was clear enough for me to see enough detail to draw the wolf's head so I went with the next best thing.

    Bard's Rest

I've been wanting to do something related to a Lute for some time now, but haven't been able to really think of anything. That is until earlier today when I was sitting through a psychology lecture and I thought of this.

Whenever I attempt something like this I put even more of my mind at risk of being lost, but sometimes I think it's worth it.

    Cleric

I know I always say that I can't draw people, but I wanted to give it a go, and at the moment I'm fairly happy with it. Give me a couple of days and I'll start seeing problems with it :D

I actually had to dig up Curse's guide to be able to do this anyone interested should have a look http://theskyrimblog.ning.com/group/skyrim-art/forum/topics/tutorial-character-illustration-basics

    Grey Fox

So I was bored and when I asked for suggestions, Ben C suggested I draw the Grey Fox being attacked by bees.
While to me he looks mildly annoyed if anything I think that sort of suits.

    Cleric Progression

Just 3 of the stages for my drawing of Phil's Cleric of Phynaster. Sketch > Outline > Final Form

    The Drunken Mage

I got some new pencils and wanted to try them out, but I was having a hard time thinking of something to draw. I've also been wanting to get my latest build some attention :P and then it hit me why not hit two birds with one stone?

    Practice

After mentioning to Curse that i have trouble with getting the scale right when drawing people, he suggested that I draw a character in full Ebony for some practice and here is the result.

    Hope in Sacrifice

"Please... please have let me save at least one of them..."

    Choices

For some reason I always have my best ideas when I'm trying to sleep or am supposed to be listening to a lecture :P The half thought out build that inspired this was one such idea now I just need to see how well it will work out.

    Blood Mage

The updated version of the art I did for my WiP build that Dragonborn has taken to calling Mr. Grinny.

    Female Ancient Nordic Concept

Tired of seeing the "heavy" armour that is Ancient Nord Armour on female characters, I decided to design my own by combining parts from both the male and female versions.

The base was done with a pencil and paper, before being scanned and then prettied up in photoshop.

    Group WiP

As is this is my first drawing done completely digitally; previously I would draw the base on paper and then scan it into GIMP/Photoshop.

From left to right Derkeethus (or at least the best him I can do :P), Astia (my latest character, she's a bit of a spell sword) and Onmund (again the best I could manage). Before you ask why two of them don't have eyes, it might be because I'm lazy, or because eyes are hard or even because I like how they look without them.

    Astia and Company

I've done my best to add highlights (or at least the closest I could get since it's my first time doing them) to this. And yes Astia and Onmund are still without eyes, for those curious as to why I present the same reasons I gave on the "line art": it might be because I'm lazy, or because eyes are hard or even because I like how they look without them.

For some reason I feel like doing a follow up to this where Astia reacting to what Onmund is doing and Derkeethus is running in terror, but we'll see.

    Crimson Scar

The Header image for my build as part of the Classics Event: Factions

    Brawler Lineart

Lineart for the second image for my Classics Event Build

    Brawler Coloured

Here is the prettied up version of the last set of lineart I posted.

Much like the first drawing I decided to have a coat over the top of the chainmail, because I can't even imagine how you'd manage to draw that. Unlike last time there are actual buckles keeping it closed, Detail :D

    Blood magic

    The Bulwark

The image drawn for my first build's rework.

    Flaming Spiders

These look really great Golden, as someone who is horrible at art seeing things like these simply amazes me.

Thanks Dragonborn it's gratifying to here you say that; I'm sorry to hear that, but I doubt that anyone can be truly "horrible" at something they want to do.
