He was too fast, he took the camp in less than five minutes, everyone, dead…

    The Windrunner

It was the 4E 189 and Therjrr Ja’za was only a boy stalking his prey through the south jungles of Elsweyr. He was hunting a small black boar. He was trying to prove to his father that he was capable of joining him on a large hunt frequently. Spotting his target dead ahead he moved slowly out of the dense shrub he inhabited. He knocked and drew a small bow he had crafted and released an arrow. The arrow flew towards the boar penetrating a tree some metres to the left of his target. The boar spotted him it charged towards him. Thejrr had always been fast possibly the fastest in Elsweyr but this was do or die, the boar was almost atop him when he lunged to the side. The boar ran straight past him stopping a few metres ahead, it turned and charged again this time it was faster, much faster. Thejrr ran off to the side avoiding the boar but running into something else. A large pair of yellow eyes Thejrr took one step backwards and they attacked lunging from the bushes in every direction they bit and biting into him from everywhere. His vision faded as they dragged him away...

Thejrr awoke to a start he faintly remembered the wolves and their savage teeth and razor claws everything before then was blurry. He looked around expecting to see a ditch beside a road or the inside of a gloomy cave but instead he was in a modest hut with wooded walls and a thatched roof. A woman bustled over to him as she saw him trying to raise his head, she had a gentle crooning voice as she said: "Stay down me' dear." The woman spoke in a Cyrodillic accent that would usually be fine except she was a Nord. He had been expecting his mother over him if he wasn't in a cave but it was a Nord woman with what he thought to be her husband looking down upon him.

    "Who are you?" he asked.

"My name is Cylvanni Stareth and my husband's Trarmon Sareth," the woman replied. "Yours?"

    Thejrr racked his brains. Until the letters started forming slowly in his mind. T - H - E - J - R - R,   J - A' - Z - A.

As it came to him he replied "Thejrr Ja'za."

The parents looked between each other. "Where am I?" the Khajiit boy asked.

"You are in Cyrodiil," Cylvanni replied.

Realisation dawned over Thejrr. "I'm not in Elsweyr?"

"No, we were trading in Elsweyr when we came across you. We brought you back with us. It has been just under a month since we found you," Trarmon replied. The reality of it all sunk in, he was away from his home almost the other side of Tamriel and his parents were away from him. Being young he found the prospect extremely frightening and being in the house of a complete stranger. He tried to get up but an immense pain in his chest restricted his movement entirely.

Cylvanni ushered him down with surprising force before forcing him to drink a potion that instantly knocked him unconscious.

Thejrr woke with a start, he was still within Cylvanni and Trarmon's house. He saw Cylvanni in the back of the house and guessed that Trarmon was out. Cylvanni came into the living room expecting him to be asleep, she wore a black hood with a red mask, a black chest plate with a red bandoleer from his right shoulder to left hip, it was adorned with a black hand spread to show all five fingers individually visible.

"What's that armour?" Thejrr asked. Cylvanni jumped with a start whirling around to look at the young khajiit. He felt somewhere in the depths of his mind he had seen something identical or at least similar to the armour which she was wearing. It took him a moment to figure out where he had seen it, a tale which his father had told him as a child. The name of the armour was still too fuzzy to recall but at least he was remembering something. He would ask about the armour to satisfy the nagging sensation that he knew the armour’s design.

Over the next few days, Thejrr would ask about the armour until finally Cylvanni gave up and told him to follow her. She took him into the basement which he was previously forbidden to enter. They descended down the rickety ladder to the basement. It was dark and gloomy with a few armour stands visible around the walls.

Cylvanni lit a torch sconces and it illuminated the room. The armour stands were dressed in the armour identical to the set Cylvanni wore. Thejrr looked over at the back right corner, there were two plain mannequins one suited to a male body and the other to a female. Cylvanni saw the direction of his gaze and said "Trarmon is on an 'excursion' for the guild.

The khajiit boy looked at her quizzically, "What guild?"

Cylvanni sighed and much to her chagrin said "The Dark Brotherhood. They are an assassin's guild situated in Skyrim and Cyrodiil."

Thejrr took a step back. His temporary guardians were assassins that murdered people in cold blood. He started to quickly run for the exit when a deftly shot arrow appeared in the ground millimetres in front of his foot. He saw a bow in Cylvanni's hands and felt utterly terrified for his life.

"Please... please don't kill me," Thejrr said fear lining his voice.

"Kill you?" Cylvanni said as though it was the most ludicrous thing he could ever have said. "No dear, I honestly like you and wish to train you now that you know. I was trying to keep you from discovering so soon."

He took a step backwards considering his options, he reluctantly nodded, however slight it was he nodded.

Cylvanni smiled and tossed him a bow...

    • Stormcloaks:
      • Although you don't believe in Talos and don't care about the Nords or anyone for that matter you would like to throw the high commander Tulius off his throne and plunge Skyrim into turmoil to gain a foothold yourself.
    • Thieves Guild:
      • Optional - You will think this is an insignificant minor faction that won't cause you any trouble as supreme ruler however if you were to become the leader of the guild you could bully shopkeepers into compliance.
    • Thane Quests:
      • Getting a foothold in all major cities is too good to pass up.
    • Dawnguard:
      • The only true evil you want running around is yourself and having a pure evil vampire clan in your province isn't good to climb the ranks.

It was the month of the Last Seed the year was 4E 200, Thejrr was 21 years old, he had grown into a ruggedly handsome young man, by khajiit standards anyway. He learnt to enjoy the training his adopted parents had given him in their quest to let him join their brotherhood. He had been sent on a mission of great importance for the brotherhood. He was to enter the Brotherhood sanctum in Skyrim and pave the way for the Night Mother to be transported. He had started his journey to Skyrim. Bruma was at least a few months travel. He would rest most nights and stay at a local inn. His conscience was a thing of the past he wouldn't bat an eyelid at a screaming baby dying that wasn't suitable for the job. He would do anything, kill anyone in order to get what he wanted he would do it swiftly never staying too long on a kill before moving onto the next one or moving ahead on his contracts.

The Dark Brotherhood was becoming more open, less conserved they were preparing for something big, really big. They had told him what they were to do, kill Emperor Titus Mede II. he had been stunned at first but now he found an advantage. Skyrim would be looking for a new, stronger leader and that would be where he stepped in. He would prove his strength and kill the greatest warriors of the land until he was victorious over them all. Then he would reign supreme and the Ja Dynasty would begin.

He was nearing the end of his travel only a few days away from Bruma. He stopped and heard two bandits talking on the side of the road. One mentioned Ulfric Stormcloak leading the Stormcloak army to war with the Imperials. 'A civil war' Thejrr thought. He had always been ambitious but this rocketed his ambitions sky high. he knew with the civil war Skyrim would be plunged into turmoil both sides struggling for control and that was when he would strike, usurp the throne and kill any who stood in his way.

Thejrr approached the men asking them to lower their weapons or be subjugated to his might. They merely laughed no knowing how much hurt they would be in. One drew his greatsword but was too slow as the khajiit was upon him in undeniable speed he was flat on his face and had a dagger through his left hand pinning him to the ground. The other bandit was shocked he hadn't even seen the dagger been drawn much less shoved through his comrade's hand.

"Okay... okay," the man said drawing breath. "I surrender, we'll tell you what you wish to hear."

"Tell me about the civil war."

The bandit explained everything telling him all the details that he knew, it had begun years ago but severely worsened when Ulfric had wielded the Thu'um and killed High King Torygg. After the bandits had explained everything he hastily cut off their heads and moved as fast as possible to Skyrim. He had always been the quickest in any group or school he had participated in but he accelerated as fast as possible making it to Bruma multiple days ahead of schedule. He tried passing through the border by impersonating a guard until he was caught and hauled off to Helgen.

Gear: Being the merciless assassin that you are you need the finest equipment to keep you as the Supreme Ruler.

    Head: Ancient Shrouded Cowl

    Chest: Ancient Shrouded Armour

    Gauntlets: Ancient Shrouded Gauntlets

    Boots: Ancient Shrouded Boots

Jewellery: Any necklace or ring with fortify health enchantment

Bow: Firiniel's End - Dragonbone Bow

    Dagger: Blade of Woe

     Gameplay:

    General:

Your general gameplay in to assassinate enemies from the shadows by using the Blade of Woe if there are few enemies around and are distanced. However, if there are multiple enemies in a close proximity use your bow either Dragonbone or Firiniel's End. Try to stay in sneak as much as possible and strategies your position by using third person view around a corner without going past as to see who or what is on the other side. If you are discovered use the Marked for Death shout to reduce a target's armour by a significant amount to deal increased damage and kill them almost instantaneously.

    Dragons:

Use the Dragonrend shout immediately to bring them to the ground and severely restrict their movement. When Dragonrend cools down use the Marked for Death or Fire/Frost Breath to deal damage or reduce AR. Keep just out of distance so the dragon can't bite or whack you with its tail but just within range so that it has a time hitting you with its shout. This will take time to learn the exact point to stay within but after a while, you will get it. If the dragon takes off use Dragonrend as always. If the dragon lands away from you race over to it and try to get into the sweet spot that I just mentioned. This can often be harder if it just lands so be careful of its shouts. When the dragon does wind up a shout you will have a split second to sheathe your weapon crouch and hold jump, this will trigger Prowl a unique khajiit racial effect that is granted by the Imperious - Races of Skyrim mod. This will let you leap out of the way to avoid the shout. With this build against dragons never stand still always keep moving as to throw off the dragon's attacks.

    Roleplay:

Your conscience being no more disregard who you slay but be mindful of what purpose you are killing them for is it strategy or just for the hell of it. Take enjoyment in killing people and dispose of them as quickly as possible. Always strive to rule Skyrim and taking any quests that you think would get you in favour with a Jarl or cause turmoil in a hold. Don't get attached to a person or companions as they will only slow you down or get in your way.

Fun read. I can definitely see his character, no doubt, and the way you played the character during the game. Nice work. :)

thanks Illani I owe quite a bit to you and your help in the Workshop

Just read through Zal and I have to say that I think the character work here was really interesting, the way you broke it across the build was really nice rather than having it as just a giant section.
