Thanks Paws. :)
Yeah I love the Dalish! The staff and the headdress are (I think) from Scrimshaw Expanded, which adds a lot of stuff to the Scrimshaw skill. The only complaint I have about that skill is that it's a bit of a dark art unlocking recipies. It seems to need the right ingredients in your inventory just to display them. Bonesap (Bonemeal and Spriggan Sap) is an obscure ingredient that unlocks loads of stuff. Dragonbone is also needed for the headdress. The staff as I recall needs a greater soul gem, firewood, void salts.
There doesn't seem to be a detailed guide on the web to hunterborn crafting, and I'm sort of tempted to threaten to make one one day.

I'm playing this build now and enjoying it a lot. At low level, I've set up camp within a couple minutes' walk ot Falkreath so I can walk back to town and offload unimportant things like weapons and armor for extra food and soul gems. I ended up getting a fairly powerful summon spell on my first go, and now I'm waiting for my max MP to level up enough for me to even bother.
