The idea for this build is very simple, and there honestly isn't that much to it. I wanted to examine the perk 'Undead Crown' which allows you to heal reanimated minions just by being close to them. The build combines this with Rallying Standard which boosts AR and damage when minions are nearby and a variety of healing and self-buffing that should keep the character alive even with a limited offensive output.

I am trying something new in regards to this build. It is meant to be shorter, and just let me know if there's anything that you think I've missed including. There is going to be a full version of this build (which is why this one is shorter) and I'll throw a link to the WiP: The Corpse Maiden.

Black is the night when The Corpse Maiden rises, her twisted mind hunting down the dead, the decaying, the bodies of fallen soldiers. She stalks the night, prowls through the province, all in order to discover that succulent corpse that shall provide her a new masterpiece to work on.

Her craft is as genius as it is evil, her foul Necromancy taints the very land that she walks upon and the mountains themselves quake at the thought of her deathly figure stepping upon their slopes.

The Corpse Maiden's story is not a sad one, nor is it a particularly understandable one.  There is no great evil that defines her life. No great sacrifice that turned her towards the art of the Undead. Simply a woman who desired power so very much that she's commit the gravest of offences, pollute the world with yet more evil just to gain this power. She is not a hero who has descended into madness, nay she is not really mad at all. By day she walks amongst us, seemingly a completely normal resident of this fair land, and none could point her out as anything but a beuatiful young woman.

If one were to stumble across the Corpse Maiden, I have only this small piece of advice. Either run, or be ready to forfeit your life.

    Skills and Combat:

Alteration is interesting because it's mostly used for Ocato's Recital which allows you to store spells to auto-cast upon entering combat. That and Vancian Magic which changes the way spellcasting works to give you a set number a day. Ocato's Recital will store Stoneflesh (or Ironflesh) and Muffle for most of the early game for the experience.

Alteration Mastery 2/2, Vancian Magic and Mage Armour 1/3

Illusion is primarily used for the Apocalypse Spell, Pale Shadow which creates a 1HP copy of your tagert. This is a really useful support spell to add to the character's arsenal for copying a foe that's going to overwhelm if it isn't attacked. Muffle is used with Ocato's Recital for cheap levelling.

Illusion Mastery 2/2, Dream Thief, Kindred Mage and Commanding Presence

Destruction is primarily for the Hemomancy Spells from Sacrosanct. Blood Seed is a very simple spell that does around 14 damage/second over 10 seconds, but also sets up for all the later spells thanks to some of the Sacrosanct abilities. Blood Brand is similar to Blood Seed but has a 200+ damage explosive attack at the end of it's DoT.

    Destruction Mastery 2/2

Conjuration is going to be our only 'Vanilla' skill in that we're relying purely on Raise/Reanimate Dead for the early game. Minions will last awhile since they'll be boosted by Vancian Magic and other Conjuration Perks, but really the idea will be to just raise the most powerful enemy and continue from there. Bound Sword is a minor spell because you do run out of spells sometimes and it's useful to have a weapon rather than just spells.

Conjuration Mastery 2/2, Ravenous Dead, Preservation and Undead Crown

Heavy Armour is another simple skill with only 3 perks being put in it. Combined with Stoneflesh or Ironflesh you can really get your AR up to the level needed for the first 20 Levels. This character is just a tank, but not a traditional one because of the reliance on magic and minion support.

Short sweet and concise. You've done well here man. I especially like how you've arranged the mod's section it's simple yet it works really well. I am looking forward to that full-length version too though :D .and I just downloaded JK"S Skyrim. It's good having a bit of an overhaul to the cities and villages eh and it's not even a large file size which I was suprised at.

The changes were a bit smaller than I thought, interesting of course but they were mostly cosmetic. It was bloody great though, for a small mod, just very enjoyable. Anyway, thanks for dropping in Furrion, thought that the presentation really worked out well.

Okay, so this is like the mini me version of the other build?

More or less yeah. I mean it's perfectly viable to play by itself, but it came down to me wanting to put something out for the Flash Event versus really enjoying the build itself and wanting to fully maximise what it could do.

How did you find playing with Vancian magic? It looks interesting but I'm not sure how much diference it makes to gameplay in practice?

Honestly I think Vancian Magic can be a teeny bit difficult to work around at times, it is limiting but I really enjoy that. As for how impactful it is, I'd say the actual gameplay changes massively if you grab VM, it's just a massively different system that makes gameplay feel fresh.
