The Dark Brotherhood is a lie. They have lost their way. They must be expunged. These are the truths of the Crimson Scars. We honor our lord Sithis by dedicating ourselves to his child, Lorkhan, Trickster Deity and God of Man.

    Basic Information

Race: Any Human Vampire-Lorkhan is the true god of men. I recommend either a nord or a redguard for the bonuses to the skills that The Crimson Scar uses.

Gender: Any. I chose a female character for style.

    Standing Stone: The Shadow Stone

    Alignment: Chaotic Evil

    Level: 20

    Stat Spread: 140/200/150

    Backstory and Lore

    Lore

Lorkhan, also known as ShorLorkhajShezarr and Sep, is most directly responsible for the existence of Nirn.

According to legend, Lorkhan died long ago, giving his life to create Nirn. As such, he has not had much direct influence over events of the Third Era, though he was indirectly responsible for at least three major near-disasters in the last decades of the Third Era, and his remains are connected to the disappearance of the Dwemer.

The Crimson Scars were a powerful vampiric organization that existed during the Third and Fourth Era. It was created and led by Greywyn BlenwythTamriel's most powerful vampire assassin. The Scars originally split from the Dark Brotherhood and were founded in order to destroy and replace them as the foremost assassins guild in Tamriel. The Scars were ambushed by the Dark Brotherhood who had gotten word of the rebellion, and the Scars were dispersed. The remaining Scars fled with Greywyn and secluded themselves in Blackwood and the town of Weye.

    Backstory

Even from a young age, The Crimson Scar knew she was different. Born to a pair of farmers outside of Kvatch, life was simply disinteresting to her. Everything from chores to play was too simple for her. Instead, she felt drawn to wander and to gaze upon the moons. Night by night, she would climb as high as she could to get closer to the sky. Life seemed boring, if fairly normal.

Until the voices came to her.

Strange whisperings telling her where to go and what to do. They told her to kill, and she did. And she liked it. The rush of adrenaline, the hot blood spurting over her hands as she plunged a knife into her prey. Eventually, the voice told her who it was. Lorkhan: the moons themselves. Lorkhan was her teacher, her master, her friend. He directed her to Deepscorn Hollow, where she was attacked by two vampires wearing crimson leathers and bearing red tattoos. When she woke up, she panicked at the crushing feeling of suffocation. She couldn't breathe. Her heart wasn't beating. She was dead.

Lorkhan assured her that this was all part of his plan. He had made her a vampire, and she would now lead a remnant group call the Crimson Scars, who were the true followers of Sithis and Lorkhan. Under his guidance, they would retake the land of Skyrim and destroy the Dark Brotherhood, the false believers who had forgotten the way. On her way to Skyrim, she is caught in an Imperial ambush. A priest of Arkay there forced her to consume Purgeblood Salts, ridding her of her vampirism so that she might go to Sovngarde. She did not fear death, for Lorkhan, she knew, would protect her. After escaping Helgen, she will continue with her original goal to destroy the Dark Brotherhood. The unwilling purge of her vampirism weakened both her body and soul severely, and she will need to regain both her vampirism and her expertise before facing the Brotherhood.

The Crimson Scar is a powerful, unruly, and blood-hungry assassin. She stalks her prey, picking them off with arrows before casting alteration spells and charging in with a massive and powerful weapon. She makes use of Archery, Two-Handed, Light Armor, Sneak, and Alteration.

    Equipment

The Crimson Scar wields powerful ebony weapons pillaged from Lost Valkygg. Both an ebony bow and an ebony two handed weapon can be obtained at level one. I reccomend bringing a bow to deal with the melee draugr and use power attacks to stagger the archer. I was able to do it on adept, but you can turn it down to novice if you're having difficulties.

For armor, The Crimson Scar wears red vampire armor and shrouded gloves and boots pillaged from the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary.

Before entering combat, Dual-Cast Oakflesh or Stoneflesh. Lorkhan is the god of change, and the Scars seek to emulate his entropic ability through the use of Alteration.

Broken Fang CaveI can feel the blood fading in me. I need to find a feral vampire, with wild blood flowing through them. Then I may restore Lorkhan's gift.

Lost Valkygg I have heard tales of an ancient crypt full of treasures. I may find something of use there since all of my equipment has been taken.

Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary At long last, I have found the location of the Dark Brotherhood. I will lure them out, and then snuff the lives of the heretics completely. All I must do is kill a frail old woman. It's pitiful how far the heretics have fallen.

    Closing notes

Umm... I don't actually have a whole lot to say on this one. It was a lot of fun to make and play, especially as a vanilla vampire. I thought that it bookended well (I was about level 20 by the time I had gone to all 3 destinations as I didn't fast travel and I explored dungeons I don't normally go into), but general feedback is always welcome! Thanks for reading!

Looking good Xenla, nice simple build that fits the theme perfectly and was presented well, fun to read and overall pretty cool. I would like to ask about the logic behind the links, it's an interesting little method for blending them in with the text but, not entirely sure if that's good or bad. Dunno would like to hear your thoughts on that one. Oh and would you like any help with the Perk/Equipment Spreads, the current ones are a bit blurry and if you'd like I could whip some up that are a bit easier to read.

I don't really have any suggestions here, I mean there are things that could be done to improve the build in my eyes, but that's branching more into making it personalized a bit more in my style rather than anything that arguably should be changed. Can't really think of any part of this build that isn't really good. So yeah, I'm basically suggestionless here, which is pretty dang hard, especially so for your...second (?) build.

Anyway, interesting build Xenla, and thanks for participating in the first Flash Event :D

Wow, that top picture is awesome! Very hot, although I think she needs to get some nail clippers. And something for her elbow :D I really like the use of Lunar Lorkhan lore here, very fitting with the various death cults like the Dark Brotherhood's views on Sithis and Lorkhan the unstable mutant - their take on Sithis being a Daedrification of the old Aldmeri concept.

I really like the equipment spread, too. Very nicely done :) I think there is already a build with the same name, Teccam's iirc. Not sure if that matters...?

Had an enjoyable read, if not for the fact that I love assassins xD

On a serious note though...well I don't have much to say. Some good presentation, orderly, and overall pretty good. If it is your second build it's pretty impressive. Much better than my second, but either way I had a good time reading. :-)

Her elbows are just a little ashy, that's all
