Shit, now everything I do is going to be disappointing with you getting people's hopes up :P

It's actually just the final part of the first stage of my revamp...which is weird because I'm also currently in stage 2 (revamping individual discussions and creating new ones)...actually now that I think about I'm in Part 1, Stage 1 and Part 2, Stage 2 at the moment...right, anyway I'll be dropping it in half an hour and I bet it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun :D

And he also mentored Rin in things like morality and possibly cooking....even though Shirou is a FAR better cool then her. Heck, they recently released a spin-off OVA series wherein Shirou cooks. It appears to be set during the True Ending of UBW, as the HGW is over and both Arturia and Rin are still around, and enjoying Shirou's kotatsu, oh and Illya's around so um, I now have no clue, unless they made another one of her. But I never really noticed the parallels until now. Heck Siegfried is a lot like Shirou, at least in the helping people bit. He COULD have a similarity in EMIYA due to the hair color at least, though apparently his hair is actually like, platinum or a really pale blonde rather than actually white.

My two-hander is level 17 and about to get sweep. Won't be going for special powers, it's not in his roleplay, but he has almost saved up for Hjerim.

Gotta dig Sweep, but that'd mean your nearly finished with leveling wouldn't it? That's totally great :D

Yeah, but now I plays FO. Sorry! I couldn't resist the pigtails! And guns and things and the pack brahmin mod! I'll work on him tomorrow. My goal is to finish him tomorrow. So I can do the Event for you.

Flash Event aside, anyone else got any builds in the works?

Sorry Chris, put everything on hold for the Event :D

Ah, I did just recently go through Dustman's Cairn and it just reminded me of the last time I ran through that dungeon. For a bit of context, I played through a build of mine last year called the Wrath of Hircine, that relied on a mod called YASH 2, which has some of the hardest combat I've ever seen in Skyrim. The last room there had about 6 Deathlords (8 after reading my Modder's Log for that character), and at Level 10 or so that is just incredibly terrible. Ah, good times, but this time I was running with no difficulty mods, high Two-Handed and a Silver Greatsword, so I destroyed everything in like a single hit :D

Modder's Log Link if you wanted to read it. Not usually into self-promotion, but this one is also sort of a good explanation of what YASH does so I feel less bad about doing it.

So, I was thinking earlier, about a squire build. I know that there is at least one on here, and it is amazing (part of the inspiration) but it seems to be the only one that is a dedicated squire build, but it offers a transfer into knighthood. What I am proposing is a pure squire build. You already start off the game basically in squire/apprentice status, so I was wanting to do a build that pursues that. As a squire you are essentially a master of nothing, Probably perk into one handed for protection, but essentially your job would be to service your knight. You would probably main One Handed, Smithing, and Alchemy. One Handed for protection when needed, smithing for the 'repair' of your knight's gear, and alchemy with a focus on healing and buffing. Poisons would not be used. But you only travel with your knight, as his apprentice and whipping boy. As Dragonborn suggested before, it would be a good idea to utlize the steed stone. As for defense, you would wear clothes with light armor accents. If you had PC or XB1 you could utilize the Buckler mod, but alas, for us PS4 users it is not to be. Anyway, curious as to what others think of this idea.

Well, if you manage to get Companion's insight, you can actually shoot your "knight" with buffs that come with poisons. The poison effect won't take, but the buff will. It could be a cool build.

Ha! So time for another of my updates. Most shit is on hold for now, but not for the reasons I expected.

My desktop died last night, I mean, dead, totally dead. I'm on my laptop now. My laptop can only run Oldrim, so, lol, no Fallout 4 break like I was hoping for, but we're back to Skyrim until we can either get my desktop fixed or I get a new one. Fiance is trying to trouble shoot the desktop now, but I'm not optimistic.

Urag is basically done. I had wanted to do a run with him using Spectral Arrow as a combat spell. If you have Cutting Room Floor installed, Spectral Arrow replaced the Detect Life spell Stelleo gives you when you complete Infiltration at Treva's Watch. I thought it would add a dynamic to Urag's game, but now, because I don't have the files or the mods, I'd have to restart him on Oldrim and I don't feel like it.

My two-handed build is also basically done. I've played two-handed builds to 100 and fully perked before, so I think I have enough to go on to get him done. He also didn't deviate much from Vanilla mechanics, save the horse mod I was using, which I used enough in the build and have played enough with it in prior games to know the mechanics of it very well.

Over the weekend, I'll probably then get the writeups for these builds done.

For Deeb's flash event, I was thinking of doing a support build perking only the Restoration tree, and lol, it's actually not a terrible thing that I've been banished to Oldrim for this. Think of her as a sort of Imperila Florence Nightingale and, like what Healer1478, she'd support a follower. I'm thinking either Stenvarr or one of the housecarls. I think I can add some minor mods through either steam or the Nexus. Minor mods.

    Here's hoping and here's building.

That idea sounds awesome, Healer! I really like the details with the armour, really sells the idea that the character is secondary to the follower.

Your idea is pretty different, but you might want to look at the Knights Mentor build by Kael for ideas about progression from a Squire to a Knight.

Oh, and if you want any help with roleplaying for this build I'd gladly lend a hand, this seems like something I'd be very interested in.

Heh, just realized that I'm not sure what else I have to add when compared to what I mentioned in the Status of yours. Ah, yeah I do...Quests.

So quests (or more specifically, questlines) are going to be really hard to figure out with a character like this. I think the idea of Skyrim's major questlines just contradict the idea of 'being backup or support' to such an extent that I'm not sure what this character would actually do. I mean, you could really stretch it out by going the third person for dialogue in Quests (so your 'looking in on the conversation) but when it comes to things like The Main Quest, Companions, Thieves Guild, where you get rewarded personally, it seems a bit difficult to justify the Squire completing them (if that makes sense).

I suppose the College of Winterhold or DB would be fairly easy to justify, though they kind of suffer from not fitting with the idea of the character. I think your best bet here is to either 'create your own quests' (or complete Roleplaying based activities that aren't technically quests, but can be written in the build as quests), or possibly to focus this character on a fairly low level. Hitting no higher than 25 would really allow the builds idea to shine through, and would make sure you aren't playing for hours without (logically) completing any of the major questlines.

Dawnguard is actually something you could complete though, at least with the Dawnguard...Actually that might work really well now that I think about it.

Aside from the Gourmet from freaking years ago, has anyone here ever tried doing a chef build?
