Well you'll be playing them for a while, so look for styles you enjoy playing the best.  Raid's Prowler  certainly appeals to me though it's not designed as a dragonborn.    https://www.tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/3/topic_id/3327

I have real trouble with this mod but I would like to get my head around it. For one playthrough I started a Relic Hunter (LAL), a professional archaeologist/explorer. I followed recommendations to become the dragonborn but I couldn't reconcile that with remaining an explorer, and got bogged down in the Moonpath quest. Maybe it'd work best if he just followed his destiny as DB first, just dropping off loot, then "retired" back to his life's work? What are your thoughts?

I am working on a swashbuckler build and l'm looking for other builds that might give me a little additional inspiration. My plan is to have main skills be One-Handed, Alteration, and Illusion. Additionally, I am planning on this being an unarmored build. Anyone know of some builds that utilize those main skills and/or are in the aesthtic of a swashbukler? And by "swashbuckler" I don't necessarily mean pirate. Think Errol Flyyn or the Three Musketeers. Thanks.

I'm almost at 1000 hours played on skyrim, I've played a lot of different builds my favorite one by far was a scout type perked light armor, sneak, one handed, block and archery with a couple in alchemy and smithing. In fact it seems a lot of the time I start playing I eventually drift back to stealth archery lol.

I've played sword and board tank, heavy armored melee mage, sneaky assassin, light armored two hand barb build (which I did quite enjoy) lately I've been taking the quiz from morrowind and coming up with the combat classes Warrior or Rogue depending on my mood.

Tried the sword and board again and got bored rather quickly, tried full blown clothy mage as an alternate to that and got bored even quicker, decided to make a rogue style build with light armor block, one handed and some investment into speech with maybe a point or two in stealth.  Quickly realised it was slowly becoming what I always tend to play and drcided to stop playing.

I really really love skyrim, I think I'm just starting to flog a dead horse though and was wondering if any of the wise ones here could recomend to me a build or strategy that could re-invigorate my enthusiasm for the game.

A focused roleplaying keeps my horse alive for flogging and I get a lot of inspiration from this site. If you enjoy stealth, how about a foxy build that involves running, sneeeeeking, hiding, grabbing, making chaos along the way (with the help of calm and fear spells, and invis potions but no attack skills). I made this for the Unusual Gems, but it did seem to work for more ambitious adventuring too. Or ramp up the chaos as a Sheogorath follower.

Do you have mods? I use Ordinator and I started a Necromancer/Disease Resto Mage. She is/was intended to become a Peryite worshiper and join the Civil War to spread His blessings. Again, a character that is very weak during early levels. Or maybe a straight conjurer/bound weapon build, with a touch of sneak. The mod that has given me the most joy is Alternative start to generate backstories and character definition . (Crawling around Blackreach for a few levels is a great start for any sneaky fugitive slave , or trial by fire as a "left for dead" victim cast on a Solstheim shore.)

Focused builds such as those in the Pantheon Challenge (RP section), and Contest builds were a breath of fresh air for me too.

Anyway, I recommend reading through Hall of Fame and the high ranks of the more recent builds for Inspiration. Good luck. (There's always Morrowind.)

Howdy. I'm wanting to get back into reworking my Gener build (a Spellsword that heavily focuses on offensive pressure via shock spells) and was wondering if there were any builds that played around with this sort of thing that also used the Ordinator or Vokrii mod.

Hello I was hoping to find a build that emulates Magneto from the X Men. I would imagine shock spells, alteration, wards? Is there any mods out there to replicate his outfit (xbox). Or the look of something similar? If using mods I would be open to Ordinator

I would suggest using the Telekinesis changes from Vokrii or Vokriinator as they will allow you to do a lot of his tricks.  I would go for a TK guy wearing robes and a heavy armor helmet :)

Are there any builds or guides utilizing the sacrosanct vampire mod. I was trying a fast vamp sneak build on ordinator but with all the new toys, would like to fully explore what you can do

Hey all looking for a vampire build. I know first thing off and it's something that sounds rather easy to look up but I am looking for something rather unique.

So first off I am wanting something that will require no mods, yes I know crazy, but I am shooting for trophies currently and so no mods are the way to go. On to the actual vampire I am definitely wanting a magic using character I want to use illusion and conjuration mainly as well as destruction. Illusion spells and perks I'm looking to master the tree with. Never fully delved into illusion but I've dabbled a couple of times on other builds and have slowly come to see the massive potential illusion has in almost any build if used properly and this time I want that to be a main focal point for my current character and dominate the battlefield so to say. With conjuration I plan on making use of the bound weapons and necromancy. Bound weapons would also include me delving into the one-handed perk tree because I would like to be a viable fighter should the need arise and my illusion spells not work in my favor. Destruction I'm a little unsure of cause I know most enemies in Skyrim are resistant to ice, yes I am looking at you draugr-filled tombs, but figured shock spells might get the job done and maybe fire? Lore wise a necromantic vampire wielding fire seems a little off but I could be wrong. Armor I haven't decided on mainly due to the fact I am not sure if I want to make a sneak mage or not. Yes I realize that I would be missing out on the bonus of stealth from being a vampire but I want something different, maybe a vampire knight style with heavy armor? Light armor would work as well but for sure would like avoid any stealth if possible.

To recap and for the TL:DR, I am looking for a vampire build that focuses on the use of illusion(all spells), conjuration(bound weapons and necromancy) and destruction(unsure of what to use honestly, maybe only shock and frost), as well as either light or heavy armor, and no stealth elements if possible.

Hey Ronald! I have played several different vampire builds from this site and two happen to fit what you want. Check out The Nemesis and The Sorceress.

The Nemesis is a little bit more roleplay heavy, but heavily uses illusion and conjuration to control the battlefield. The Sorceress holds a lot of good statistical info and makes heavy use of illusion to buff your undead minions. Neither of these builds utilize sneak and are still quite powerful late game. I found not using sneak as a vampire to be a bit refreshing because it just adds to the challenge.
