Ah, let me see. Been having some real trouble finding a specific build that uses both Staves and Shields, at least off the top of my head. The Telvanni Stafflord focuses on staves to a pretty high degree, while the Telvanni Shield-Mage fits the Shield stuff. The Renriijra Krin Stafflord is a pretty great fit for what your looking for there, it's not by Olaf but it uses Staves, Shields and is pretty awesome.

The Moon Bishop might fit into your second

The shield mage was the one I was thinking of, Nelaf not Olaf :)

Hey everyone, I’ve had Skyrim for a really long time but never got in to it much. I recently bought the SE edition for Xb1 because I don’t use my 360 anymore. I’m having trouble finding a build and sticking with it. Some characters I have liked in the past are a Hammerdin and Javazon from D2. I REALLY have enjoyed Guild Wars 2 rendition of a fast, agile, hard hitting dagger/dagger elementalist https://youtu.be/beffEuNl_zI for context. They are fast, gap closing in your face melee/magic dealers who tank support and tank.

The first thing I thought of when I read this was Vazgen's Trebbite Monk

It's not a perfect match (single wield and not a destructo-only mage), but one that fits the spirit of what you want and can easily be adapted to suit your specific tastes. Quick, hard-hitting, and dagger damage is meant to pile on the pain rather than to be used as a fall-back. Perhaps my favorite dagger-mage . Give it a read and see what you think ;D

This build looks amazing... would it be suitable for a first playthrough? I ask because I don't know if just sticking with a Paladin type build would be better to get used to the game.

Hmmm. Looking back on your request, I seemed to have missed a pretty crucial aspect... tank. The Trebbite Monk is definitely more of a glass cannon than a tank, though with Alteration, you could probably do a bit of tanking. I looked up a youtube video that featured the build, and she dropped the hammer on folks pretty quickly, and was up in their faces. It's pretty high-offense and lets flesh spells absorb damage for defense.

I don't know exactly what issues you've been having in the past that has made sticking with a build difficult, but if you're like me, taking on an unfamiliar playstyle might be just what the doctor ordered ;D

Check out the video and see if it plays like something you'd feel comfortable with.

Hey Matt, I did a build a while back that puts a twist on the typical Hircine follower with roleplay to get married and build a home and adopt kids.  Check it out: Hircine's Huntsman

Are there any builds that use armor (heavy or highly-smithed light), Pacify spells, and 1H in a way where Pacifying is relevant at high levels even though the cap for a single-cast Pacify is 38?

Ayo I'm looking for a warrior stratagist build. No magic or stealth. Something on the strong side, planning on playing on Legendary.
