    I rarely comment these days.
When i do, it's usually on builds and builders that have potential.
There is potential in this build and yourself as a builder.
Your post is lengthy, but ordered... it also has a flow.
Details are thoroughly researched, as evident by the playstyle and explanation on glitches.
You sort of remind me of myself, as a builder.

That said, getting a character build as a counter to the dawnguard, whilst not confirming to the norms of a vampire spellsword / battlemage is something rather unseen on the blog.

Whilst this is technically a fantastic first build, there are elements that might have helped with the visualization of the build:

    • Character loadout:
      • There obviously isn't any armor used.
        • Assuming cloth gear is used, what cloth gear?
        • College robes? Necromancer robes picked from dead NPC?
        • Or other clothes that need to be enchanted, like those sold in radiant raintment in soltiude?

      • You've made mention of the shield but weapon?
        • Joining the volkihar and completing the questline ensures Harkon's blade is in your possesion
          • Harkon's blade does suit the image of a death dealer type vampire build
        • However, what are the weapons that build up to it?
        • What specific enchants augment the weapon?

    • Combo's / Moves list?
      • Might wanna include a set of moves (optional though) to describe how the builds makes use of it's abilities.
      • Sword & Board it fair enough, but necro knight has both spell and melee variants.
      • Can be expanded

    • Alchemy Potions & Poisons List
      • Whilst it's possible to include any and every type of potion / poison to this build, having a specific set that synergixzes with the build will help
      • This includes potions that buff certain stats whilst in combat and poisons that make it easier to deal damage

So yeah, aside form the above, good job mate.

    +1 from me.

Hey Blue, this is the second build of yours I've run into, and I love it all over again.  Alchemy isn't exactly my favorite, but I'm always willing to try a build with it.  I actually wanted to ask, you say "look at the useful potions options", but there doesn't seem to be one on the page.  I've read through a couple of times, but I can't find it.  But to the rest of this build, it's been fun playing so far, I'm still early in, but I'm liking it.  Keep up the great work.

Hey Crouch, sorry about my late response, I've been quite buisy these past couple days. Anyways, thanks for the positive feedback, It really makes it worth it when just one person says he actually plays the build! Ohhh and the alchemy thing, I straight up forgot to add it in... I'll look at it this weekend. Thanks again man.

@Mottyskills thank you! I tried to make him as "vampire-patriotic" as possible so I'm glad that came across.

I'm glad I took the time to read through this. The rood is definitely lethal poison for most vampire hunters on the vault! :D

No worries Blue, it's a little hectic here too, so I understand taking some time to respond.  I assume you're a new builder, because I've been on this and the previous site for maybe a year and a half, maybe two years, and I'm just now running into your stuff.  If so, I am very excited, because it is always great getting a new batch of builds in.

Thanks for the Roleplay Group shout out Blue! I was wondering about the lack of a roleplay section, it's my favourite part of a build after all, but your explnation makes sense. If you want I could find some guides about vampirism and stuff for you to link to, to give people some RP inspiration, your decision though, wouldn't want to throw off the flow of the build.

I think there could be something to add, surrounding traps and preparation for fights. As this character is about making the hunter the hunted, using traps (runes, starting the fight by luring enemies into dungeon traps etc.) would make sense thematically. Also as you're already taking Alteration, Detect Life and Dead spells could also be useful for tracking down the Dawnguard.
