Cool stuff Vargr! Clever use of skills to create something unique and interesting, along with RP and backstory to create something which feels organic :) The duality of this not-so-fragile waif and the inner beast is compelling stuff! Will you continue beyond level 25, or return to the character at some point? Great build! :)

thanks Phil.  I have considered where I would like to expand with this character past level 25, and I'm not really sure anything fits.  I think I'm just going to roll back the skill limits and allow her to level speech, lockpicking, and pickpocket even though I won't perk any of those skills their natural progression through use will see the character slowly level past 25 without changing how she plays, and it will make it a lot easier to sell off all my awesome loot.  I have also considered joining the DB instead of destroying them using the beast as a tool to assassinate the target.  I think the DB missions would be fun with this kind of playstyle.

I love your use of Alteration for both protection and utility.  My first several playthroughs I always ignored this skill but have come to appreciate it as an amazing skill.  Awesome build!

Werewolf and thief is a combination I'd never considered, but you've put them together really nicely!

    Awesome!

I'll admit that I was excited and intrigued when I saw your two skills--I love playing a pure thief... for a while. Eventually, though, I miss the ability to occasionally hand hostiles their hinders (if the situation calls for it). In fact, I'm pathetic enough to write combat scenarios into my RP sometimes just to break the monotony. Lycanthropy brilliantly solves that dilemma for me. And I actually did not know about the Alteration + Werewolf trick. I don't often find myself saying this, but this seems like it would be a great build to play on higher difficulties: plenty incentive to keep under the radar, but plenty of justification for beast form once detected.

Super excited about the inclusion of Klimmek's pack to make her the ultimate 2nd story burglar. It's great for RP, but also an insanely useful way for a non-confrontational character to sneak around what are otherwise unavoidable combat scenarios.

You've made a fantastic rogue/thief with two skills that blend together quite nicely... and a highly surprising hidden skill thrown in for good measure. This may be the next thief I play :D

I am enthralled by the cleverness in this build, Vargr, and my second read through of the build was as pleasurable as my first. The idea of stealing with Telekinesis is extremely fun and appealing to me.  I'd definitely have some giggle aloud moments with that. In addition, her dark side as a lycanthrope is very interesting. I am wondering what the use of Alternate start, live another life with it's extension mod would bring to the table? There is a neat option to start directly as a werewolf at Frostmoon Crag and you can bypass the Companions altogether.

Here's to a successful event and many more for us, Varg of Varg'Ette. I know it is hard to both make a build and host and event, so very proud that we both ended up doing something.

    Amazing build, Vargr!

I love the simplicity of the build and the concept behind it! I'm really getting into designing and playing 1 and 2 skill builds. It adds a lot of flavour to the game. This is by far one of the best builds that I've seen!

I just started a play through with just a few of changes based on my personal preferences:

    1. Forgoing the Ring of Hircine (so I wouldn't be tempted to abuse Beast Form).

    2. Dumping the Atronach Stone and instead using the Tower Stone to eliminate the need for lockpicking.

    3. I keep my buying/selling to bare minimum, and I make sure to get put in jail once in a while to reset the skill progression of Speech. In fact, the only loot I’ve been taking are gold coins, rare gems, and extremely valuable jewelry.

    4. Extreme weight restrictions (no more than 30 pounds).

    5. I also made a mod which adds an early perk to Alteration granting a spell form of Vampiric Grip (it is super expensive Master spell though). It basically takes all 100 points of Magicka to do a quick tap/knockdown, so no pulling people from far away to slingshot them. It seemed that a quick knockdown spell would suit the Reckless Waif's cocky personality. In fact, I was just sneaking next to the giant in the Sleeping Tree cave, when he suddenly turned around and became hostile. Thankfully, I had my hands up and the spell in my right hand...his club was already raised when I cast the spell and knocked him into the wall. I quickly emptied the chest and gleefully ran out of the cave laughing!

Telekinesis is my favourite form of magic. Stealing with the spell gives the build a really unique flavour! It is truly the most fun that I've had playing a thief in Skyrim.

Wow thanks Misha!  I've been so busy with the event that I didn't even notice your comments until now.  As a builder I love to hear when some one has picked up one of my characters and tried them out.  That mod sounds great and seems like a perfect fit for the waif.
