OK, so i read the build briefly.

Nice sense of humor, will give you that.

With regards the build itself mate, trying to figure out what the second brother does.

    Lemme try to humanize this:

1st Bro - Battlemage... striaght as

2nd Bro - Shield mage... sorta? More shield usage then magic, but how does one level up and do damage before getting one of those "Special" shields and perks?

    3rd Bro - Berserker

    thanks.

Yeah the first bro is a battlemage-esque build, and the third is quite literally a beserker.

The second brother is a shield user yes, and the main source of damage comes from your shield. Only the Sun spells do damage against undead, all other mobs will have to be killed with your shield. The way shielddamage works is like this. The damage you do when you bash with a shield is calculated through the standard armor from the shield, regardless of smithing improvenemts. It is then put in a formula to get the eventual damage. You can get the first damage increase perk at Block skill-level 30, "Power Bash". This gives you the ability to do a power bash, which does three times as much damage as a normal bash, which immediately makes it do a lot more damage. Until you reach skillevel 30 you have to absorb a lot of the hits through your shield, anad heal yourself up while slowly bashing them to death. You can grind to get to skill level 30 in Block, but I recommend buying some training from trainers, Such as Nadja Stone-arm in the Companions. This speeds up the process a lot. At skill level 50 you get Power Bash, which does 5x normal bash damage, so now you do a good amount of damage. Of course you never do as much as with a sword, but the way combat goes is totally different and is a very unique way to playing Skyrim. Later on it can get so good as you can stunlock enemies, throw them off of cliff edges, you are basically a tank. Throughout the whole shield leveling, restoratoin will level along with you, you can buy training for that skill as well to get it to 40, in order to get the Respite perk. When you have the Power Bash perk and the Respite perk, the whole playstyle gets a lot more fun, untill then it is a bit hard, but luckily enough it isn't a terrible grind or anything.

    Hopefully I answered your question!
