Ordinator, huh? How drastic are the changes that the new perks bring in? I heard that some turn Skyrim into a completely new game!

Theres a lot of them and they vary a lot. Some do pretty much the same thing as in vanilla. Some take something that exist in vanilla and extend it - such as the many new effects from elemental destruction magic. Some make combat more tactical - making combat buffs conditional on such things as doing timed blocks. Some add entirely new mechanics, such as the Speechcraft perks that add bard-like abilities. So although I wouldn't call it drastic - it's still Skyrim - it gives you more options.

I don't have much of a head for game mechanics per se - I tend to go for theme and flavour with perks. I daresay there's game breaking combos in Ordinator that other people can find!

There's a line of perks in Alteration that's designed for spellswords. There's no Necromage, but there's a new bunch of perks in Restoration geared towards undead hunting. This seemed the perfect build to try these things out with.

I'm currently level 7 and what I really love about this build is the slow, deliberate way they are progressing through their first dungeon. I tend to charge around - having to stop and carefully clean up every body after myself is a real change of pace!

Exorcising bodies, the best moments are when they say "Thank you" with their dying breath. It's immersive and makes you think your character actually makes a difference.

I installed Ordinator just to see what this girl can do. Thanks for bringing me back to the game, ShinJin! :D

I'm excited to see what you think of some of those perks--the Restoration and Destruction perks in particular :D

Well, my level 42 character has 40 perks points to spend but strangely some perks are already assigned. I'll see how it goes.

This ia a brilliant (pun intended) concept.  I've never previously thought about combining my offensive restoration spells with fire spells.  I've always wanted to make a sorceress/mage character who primarily uses such spells, and focuses on the whole concept of light magic, but I've never been able to achieve the desired effect.  You've done an outstanding job with this character.  I am going to start a play through as soon as possible.

Thanks, it's truly one of my best. If you need assistance with anything, leave a comment here and I'll help you out as best as I can. :)

Just a follow up to say that I'm really enjoying this build.  Currently my character has just recruited Sorine and has already reached 81 in Conjuration at only level 25!  I opted to choose a Nord, rather than a Redguard, for my own role-play reasons (she is returning to her homeland to aid the Vigilants of Stendarr, but the meeting with Carcette is unproductive and then the hall is destroyed, so she goes to join the Dawnguard and the College of Winterhold), but otherwise I've stuck to the build exactly.  I don't raise everything back to destroy it, as my character is unconcerned by Skeevers and wolves being raised, but anything more powerful, especially Draugr and Bandits are definitely turned into ash whenever possible.

The only troublesome opponents thus far have been high level mages with the Chain Ligntning spell.  They really hurt Flame Atronachs, even with Elemental Potency, and I've had to start putting more points into health now to stop being fried.  Otherwise, I've managed to handle everything without too many problems.
