Greetings. I'm kinda new at the page, so I'm willing to share 2 characters I've been playing more than 100 hours each one. Both have been tested on legendary difficult, and are quite similar, yet so different. You are gonna see references from Elder Scrolls, Warhammer Fantasy Battle and The Lord of the Rings, so don't be rude about that (specially with the character names). And finally, please let tell you that I am learning to speak english (sorry for the grammar but trust me, I did my best). Therefore this ain't gonna be a Nobel Prize in Literature winner. However, I'm glad to present you one of the two builds (I will appreciate if you read both of them):

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The Return of the Kings

"And, at the End of the Days, first sign shall appear from heaven. Death, at last, shall spread its black wings again over all the world, as fate lies shattered forever. But in those times of greatest despair, there shall come a savior. For all that he is: anger, doom and vengeance. Granted with the immortal soul of a dragon to free our land, striking down our foes with sharp steel and cold blood. So the weak will die; so the strong shall be spared. But be aware of my voice, child: He who fights monsters should beware, lest he become a monster himself. 'Cause one abandoned by God, consumed by vengeance, chosen by fate and haunted by the past... Could be him our brightest hope? Or our darkest nightmare? Because when you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss itself also gazes into you. And then, all against his path will know the true meaning of fear. And the King who will rule all of us is going to return, and death shall be among us once again..."

    LORE

Long, long time ago, in a Skyrim far away, the land was ruled by the Snow Elves, the main inhabitants of Skyrim during the Merethic Era, whose according to Knight-Paladin Gelebor were once a proud and prosperous race, before their war with the Atmorans and enslavement by the Dwemer, and had a society that almost rivaled that of the Altmer in the Summerset Isle. Their origin was part of the initial exodus of dissident Mer groups from the Summerset Isles along with the Dwemer, Chimer and Ayleids, although the only Mer to settle in Skyrim were the Snow Elves and, at some point, the Dwemer. These also known as Falmer were worshipers of Auri-El, even building an amazing Chantry dedicated to their main god at the once called Golden Vale (now the Forgotten one). It was constructed at the to provide a retreat for those who wished to become enlightenment (called initiates), easily becoming the civilization's center of worship of Auri-El. The initiates of the Chantry made a pilgrimage to each of the five Wayshrines, navigating the treacherous vale with a ewer of water to gain access to the temple's inner sanctum.

"But white men came, across the sea, and they brought us pain and misery. They killed our tribes and killed our creed, taking our land for his own need. We fought them hard, we fought them well, out on Saarthal we gave them hell. But many came, too much for believe, oh, I wonder, will we ever be set free?"

At first, Falmer and Atmorans lived in peace, until one day the Snow Elves destroyed the rapidly growing settlement of Saarthal during the "Night of Tears". Only Ysgramor and his two sons survived, fleeing to their land and returning with his Five Hundred Companions and vowing to drive the Snow Elves from Skyrim forever. The Snow Elves were broken and scattered, following numerous losses to Ysgramor and his Companions, and retreated to the island of Solstheim. They were led by the Snow Prince, the greatest of his kin. He killed many Nords in battle, welding ice magic and spear. The Falmer took a final stand against the Nordic people, and, inspired by their leader, it seemed as though they'd come out victorious at The Battle of the Moesring. Unfortunately this warrior faced an inglorious death, being struck down by Finna, a twelve-year-old girl who, in her grief after the death of her mother, had stabbed him. The death of the Snow Prince caused the elves' hope to be shattered with many attempted to flee the battle. They split in two groups: those who hid (most of them at the Chantry) and those who became servants of the Dwemer in return for safe. The Dwemer agreed to grant the Snow Elves refuge, but at a high price. They were forced to eat toxic plants that gradually destroyed their sight, and began to devolve into the twisted creatures now known as the Falmer. However, not all of the Snow Elves agreed to such a price. These elves sought out other alliances, but, ultimately, most were slaughtered. Sometime after the disappearance of the Dwemer the Falmer took the Chantry turning the Arch-Curate Vyrthur into a vampire. However not all was lost, as it's revealed on Dawnguard that some pockets of Snow Elves even could have fled from Skyrim. The Ice Tribes and the Rieklings seem to have relationships with the Ancient Falmer.

And about our Snow Prince, it's known that the Atmorans had used to burn the corpses of the fallen ones. However, this wasn't the fate of ur beloved hero. One so mighty in war yet so loved by his kin deserved better. So they brought the body of the Snow Prince, wrapped in fine silks, to a freshly dug barrow. The gleaming armor and spear were presented on a pedestal of honor, and the tomb was arrayed with treasures worthy of royalty. And so our legend ends. Or that is what everyone think.

    BACKGROUND

As the lore says, little groups of Ancient Falmer could have fled from Skyrim. The more important among them were a couple of Auri-El's paladins. After the fall of the Snow Prince, this loyal warriors sought the way to save the last member of their royal family, the son of the Snow Prince. To free him from the yoke of the Atmorans they ran so far away as they could, eventually reaching the Summerset Isles. After settling among the Altmer they raised the royal child teaching him everything about his true origins. As time passed away, our character's family became one of the noble an prominent houses of the Dominion. Unfortunately, centuries of inbreeding to keep their "noble lineage" as descendants from Snow Prince caused a vein of instability and violence to flourish in the family. This lack of sense coupled with a great liking for grandeur meant that the family gold was squandered some years ago. As a result, our hero's family have ended living in poverty and insanity. His mother died giving the twins at birth, and father did it some years later. Now free from any boundaries an with nothing to lose, our hero have come to Skyrim seeking knowledge, power, wealth and wisdom. But above all, he is willing to know the truth behind his family.

Bloodskal Blade: Energy Blast = 30 damage

Note: We are going to use Ebony Set because it looks like a darker an heavy armored version of the Ancient Falmor

    or

Midnight Armor (Ebony Armor): Fortify Destruction; Fortify Magicka Regen

    PRIMARY SKILLS

Conjuration: All the necromancy perks, 'cause your pets are going to take the aggro while you're hitting your enemies from the shadows.

Destruction: Is your first damaging card. After conjuring a pet (or two wth Twin Souls), let them take their aggro while you use your lighting magic to, literally, desintegrate your foes. Yes, I know you are descendant from the Snow Elves but you rather choose a darker form of magic (what's even darker than make those who oppose you burst?). Desintegrate is going to leave you without bodies to raise; that's why I highly recommend the Soul Cairn summons.

Illusion: All frenzy spells are amazing to make your enemies kill themselves, letting you with lot of corpses to raise as your minions, without even having to make an effort. Also fear are for roleplay.

    SECONDARY SKILLS

Alteration: Flesh spells are awesome along the shock cloak to face anyone on melee combat. Also you can absorb the spells from your foes, regenerating your Magicka.

Heavy Armor: Your main damage come from Magicka, but eventually you will run out of that. However, you are stronger enough to charging into the first line of a battle. Heavy Armor is going to help you survive.

Two Handed: Sometimes you will have to fight like a beast. However, Two Handed is a secondary ability, forcing you to use your Magicka above all.

    SUPPORT SKILLS

Alchemy: Only used for fortify smithing and enchanting potions. That's why i'ts not even listed on the perk spread (because with Dragonborne you can take this perks when you need it). Note: Lorewise you shouldn't use it unless you have to, because of the Falmer degeneration after ate the fungus. I recommend store all your ingredients; then, when you have everything to enhance your weapons and armor, eat one of each one to lear all the effects with a bite.

Block: Not much to say here. Just to survive more while fighting at melee.

Enchanting: Just as alchemy, you are only going to use it once. I recommend learn all the effects you can so when time has come you'll be able to put them on your armor.

Smithing: As alchemy and enchanting, you are going to use it only once to improve your armor. Is advisable to master the skill during your play, so you won't lack the level to use it when you have to.

    PERK SPREAD

Note: I have played Malekith until lvl 143 and its not funny at all. In fact is more close to a godlike. That's why a decide to use de vanilla level cap of 81 for both builds. You can reach it easily thanks to the legendary skills, and it will be enough to take all quest, even the Ebony Warrior.

    ROLEPLAYING

    • I was born between at a very strange family. As far as I know, all we had been albinos. Mama died giving birth to me and my brother, and dad followed her some years later. I grew up listening father's tales about a war that happened long time ago. As far as I know, my brother and I are the last descendants of the royal family from the Snow Elves. However, I've never put a feet on Skyrim, and no one from my family neither. But now that's going to change. My house is ruined, so I don't have anything to left behind. My brother decided to stay here and join the dominion army. He is a great Arcane Archer, 'cause we both were trained as warriors and mages since our birth. Aeglos always was the honorable one among us. He dreams to fight for the glory of the Dominion, traveling the world an making a name as a honorable, proudly and glorious warrior. But I don't like the Thalmor. Once I thought about join them for wealth and power, but I just can't trust them. Mine was one of the few families whose opposed the Thalmor. Now that I'm thinking, it's not strange that all my kin were put on first line at the war. Since then, only father survived before die on strange circumstances. But well, what's done is done. So now I'm heading to Skyrim; hopefully I'll fin what I need there...
    • I was taken prisoner after crossing the border. Skyrim is on a civil war, and the imperials took me like one of the rebels. I almost literally loosed my head, but an amazing black dragon appeared on time to save me while destroying the entire town. I fled from Helgen with Hadvar. Even while the imperials captured me, it was fault of the Stormcloaks so I could never have followed Ralof.
    • Hadvar sent me to talk the Whiterun's Jarl. I met some warriors on the way fighting a giant. They are the companions, descendants from the Five Hundred who slain the Snow Elves. They asked me to join them, but I'm not sure about the offer. However, after talking to the jarl I joined some guards to hunt a dragon. While the beast was slain, some kind of power flew through my body. Now they're saying I could be the Dragonborn. I don't know what that means, so I'm going to talk the Graybeards.
    • Graybeards have confirmed that I am the Dragonborn. Apparently, the black dragon I saw at Helgen is Alduin, the embodiment of the end of times. I found a mysterious note while retrieving Jurgen's Horn that led me to Riverwood. There I knew Delphine, one of the last Blades. Together, we fought another dragon, arriving just to see Alduin resurrecting him. Now she is looking for his mate Esbern.
    • I've made it through the Thalmor Embassy. I still don't like them. Fortunately I found out that Esbern is on Riften, so I'm heading there now.
    • One guy named Brynjolf asked me to do a dirty work in exchange of money. I need the coins, cause the imperials took everything from me on the ambush, so I joined him. He led me to the Red Flagon, where I knew more about Esbern. I have finally found the old guy, and now we are looking for an ancient Akaaviri Temple.
    • Sky Heaven Temple is amazing. Now I'm sure to be the Dragonborn, and my destiny is to slain Alduin preventing the end of times. I've always wanted power, but never figured to myself that I could be the chosen one to free Skyrim. Maybe I could even become their ruler, and recover the land for the elves. Unfortunately, I'm to weak yet. So now I'm heading to the Mage College of Winterhold to find an Elder Scroll. But before that, I'll help Delphine recruiting some new blades. I've chosen Brelyna, Ogol and Faendal, cause I'm a Mer supremacist.
    • The College is amazing, so I decided stay here for a while. I've learn lot of things about the Night of Tears and the Falmer-Atmoran war. Now I'm the Archmage and leader of the college. However I had to kill some Thalmor. I knew they could be a treat for my ambitions.
    • Optional, for a more evilish character: I finally decided to join the Companions. If I'm really the chosen one to rule above Skyrim and beyond (Solstheim), I should know everything I can about those who killed my kin. After some missions, I found out that their leaders are all werewolves. I had to become one myself. However, now I'm their Harbinger, so I'll cure them all to prevent a possible treat. Vilkas and Farkas agreed to be cured, but Aela didn't. Unfortunately she had an accident slipping from the Throat of the World. About Ysgramor's Axe, I destroyed it.
    • As Archmage of the college I didn't have most trouble finding information about the Elder Scroll. I'm heading to the Throat of the World to face Alduin once for all.
    • The battle was hard, and I barely survived. Without Paarthurnax's help I couldn't have defeated Alduin. Now he had fled to Sovngarde. There he can gain power by eating souls, so the next battle isn't going to be that easy, specially cause he knows now that I can defeat him. And like everyone says, a trapped skeever is always more dangerous. If only there were a way to become stronger...
    • Some cultists sent by a guy called Miraak attacked me. Now I'm going to Solstheim to learn who the heck is him.
    • I found a Black Book at the temple of Miraak. But he have easily defeated me. He is right. I don't have enough power yet. So I decided to stay on the island learning more from the Black Books.
    • I have found all the Black Books, and now I can bend the will of the dragons. There's only one form of power I need to know: Dragon Aspect. So I decided to face Miraak.
    • After a hard battle, I won (with the help of Hermaeus Mora). Now I'm surely can defeat Alduin. Sovngarde, here I go.
    • Finally Skyrim is free from Alduin and the dragons. Now is time to begin my plans to take Skyrim for the elves. So I decided to join the Imperial Legion on the civil war. Skyrim doesn't belong to the Nords; Skyrim belongs to the elves.
    • I've keep doing the Thieves Guild quest, cause they have contacts who can help me on the civil war. I must become their new master. Controlling the underworld and Black Market of Skyrim could be very beneficial. Thanks to them I'm now one with the shadows, and have the Eye of the Falmer, an amazing relic from my folk.
    • I have managed to keep the Jagged Crown. Only a true king must have it, and there's no one better than me to become that. Ulfric and the Stormcloaks have been defeated. Unfortunately that improves the imperial power above the region. However, I met once a weird guy called Cicero carrying what he said was "the Night Mother". Making some research I've learned about the Dark Brotherhood. Also, I've heard about the wedding of an relative of the emperor. It's have been rumored that he is going to assist the ceremony. The presence of both the brotherhood and the emperor could not be a coincidence.
    • I was always right. The dark brotherhood is attempting to kill the emperor. That's an opportunity I could not let scape. I have joined them to ensure the job is done.
    • Now the emperor is dead, just as Motierre. I'm not letting anyone to take advantage of the situation, but me. Dawnstar Sanctuary has been fully restored, and now I have two initiates begging for doing my will.
    • I can't keep letting go the Vampires treat. First I joined the Dawnguard. However, after seeing the true power from Harkon, I couldn't refused his offer.
    • Looking for the Auriel's Bow I found everything I could about the Snow Elves, even knowing one an killing another. The path wasn't easy, but I made an awesome discovery. The Falmer can be controlled if you have enough to power to do it. I would like to thank Vyrthur for the lesson but, well, he is dead know. Maybe I could use the Falmer to take the surface for me when the time has come. But first, is the matter of Harkon. Surely he is willing to kill me once he has the bow, but I'm not stupid. I'll keep the bow for my self, killing Harkon and becoming the new leader of the vampires.
    • Harkon is dead now, and the bow on my hands. I decided to hid it until the time to take Skyrim has come. I know it is close. Everyone here and beyond knows my name. Some even have starting to call me the King of Castle Volikhar. I like how it sound. Soon I'll get out of the shadows.
    • Now that the civil war has ended, the emperor is dead, and Alduin's, Miraak's and Harkon's treats have been exterminated, is time to came out of the shadows. I'm becoming thane of every hold on Skyrim. My name is in everyone mouth know. As Delphine and Esbern don't want to talk me cause I chose not to kill Paarthurnax (he is willing to help me domain the dragons), I took the three recruits as stewards. They are loyal to me, not to them.
    • If I'm going to attempt take Skyrim, I will need more allies. I've heard all the Forsworn, Rieklings and Orcs are having trouble with the racist Nords. Maybe I could help them now, so they will help me later.
    • I have managed to acquire all the daedric artifacts to improve my power, together with a strange artifact known as the Aetherial Crown. Also I defeated the Ebony Warrior, absorbing his soul to empower my own. Oh, time is almost here. Soon I'll get finally out of the shadows, and Skyrim is going to know his true ruler. 'Cause Skyrim doesn't belong to the Nords. Skyrim doesn't even belong to the elves. Skyrim will belong to me...

Skyrim belongs to The Witch King...

    TIPS

    • This character is, obviously, based on Malekith from Warhammer Fantasy Battle, so you should act like a Chaotic Evil Character.
    • The Witch King is hungry of power, so he will do everything to become more and more powerful. All daedric quest suits well to him, always choosing the dark path (like taking the black star, killing a nord for Boethia, or the priest to get the Skull).
    • You will have two main homes. The first one on Solitude (this should be your first house to buy) because there is the center of the power, so you should become thane as soon as you can. Your second base is, of course, Severin Manor.
    • Always try to intimidate. Only persuade if necessary.
    • You should kill everybody who bothers you. Malekith doesn't have any trouble doing everything he has to achieve his goals. (like killing those vampires who dare to challenge the Volikhar power during Laid to Rest)
    • Hate the Nords, and help Mer over Men, and even Beast (Cats and Lizards) over Nords.
    • Trust nobody. That's why I killed Ralis.
    • I personally won't use any follower. However, if you want one, always take an elf (Teldryn is amazing). At Dawnguard use Serana, not because you like her, but 'cause you wanna use her blood. For Dragonborn, Frea, so you can earn the trust of the Skaal and acquire their knowledge. Once the main quest is finished, dismiss them. About the horses, Shadowmere is your main goal.
    • You are going to star battles always with magic. Frenzy is amazing to provide bodies without effort, and destruction to literally desintegrate your foes. As Malekith is the dark version of the twins, I choose shock damage instead of cold. Soul Cairn conjurations are amazing, specially Wrathman. At level 100 you should conjure two of them, and start hitting from behind with destruction. If you ran out of magicka, then switch to meele. That's why I choose Two Handed instead of One Handed, to force my self to use more my magic skills. Lighting Cloak and a Flesh Spell should help you to face anyone.
    • You also should align with the Forsworn (No One Escapes Cidhna Mine), Rieklings (The Chief of Thirsk Hall) and Orc Strongholds (retrieving The Forgemaster's Fingers and doing the Cursed Tribe). All of them have trouble with the Nords, so they could been amazing helpers when the time to take Skyrim for yourself arrives.
    • Never go to Dwemer ruins, unless you have to. Your first actions should kill the Falmer as a cruel act of mercy. However, after finding with Vyrthur that you can control them, spare everyone (ebony mail's muffle + illusion muffle spell and invisibility should've enough to sneak past them). You are going to need them later.
    • I highly recommend start playing as a normal vampire. I play on Xbox, so I can't use mods. Vampirism is for ropleplaying due their weakness to fire, and the resist to frost. This is up to you, but if you wish to do it go to Broken Fang Cave, near Whiterun, as soon as you fled from Helgen.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope you like both builds. Like I said, I've been playing each one for more than 100hours, tested on legendary difficult, and are amazing. Be sure read the other build if you have not yet; also let your comments so I can improve my builds and English, and if you have enjoyed please click the like button. See ya!

Hi Deseonia, I see you opted to split the builds. Welcome to CB. I will take some time tomorrow morning and read both your builds in detail as I like snow elves. Right now, I am noticing that this image.

Sorry, the demonstration didn't quite work, but I find that if you ever want to extensively edit your thread, copy/paste from a reply is good.

  • September 7, 2016
Jejeje. Thanks for the info.... However, trust me when I tell you that I don't know what happened here. Look, my PC is broken so I work from the iPhone. I wrote all the codes on Pages and just copy paste them at the forum. However, It didn't work as I meant here. It looks more like I wanted on the old tamrielvault. Here are the links so you can see the differences: http://tamrielvault.com/group/character-building/forum/topics/character-build-the-return-of-the-witch-king http://tamrielvault.com/group/character-building/forum/topics/character-build-the-return-of-the-white-king I don't know what's wrong cause both forums have the same codes and info :(... maybe you can help me with that
  • September 7, 2016

I am trying to figure this out still myself. Hmm. I wonder... I will try something and then get back to you later tonight or tomorrow.

  • September 9, 2016
Yup... Maybe the forum is breaking the codes adding his own format... I used a PC to edit my post without the codes.... Just looking the text, but It didn't work either.... But well.... thanks again, my friend.... And sorry for my grammar :(
  • September 9, 2016

Hey you got some text-wrapping in there. Nicely done.

  • September 9, 2016

Looking at your build I'm guessing you're using html tables for get the pictures alingside the text?

I tried that myself but I've had to give up on it for now because of the huge gaps it produces above them.

The problem appears to be that the source code editor insists on formatting your code for you, putting tags on new lines and such. However the compiler for the html reads each new line in the source code as a new line that it has to put in the output, which causes all sorts of irregular spacing.

Should probably seperate Roleplaying from something like Lore or Backstory.

Other than that, I like it so far...

  • September 22, 2016
Hi! And sorry for the delay but it's been a long week. Yup, actually I used HTML tabs, and yes, i also figured that the page seems to give you format. However I think it doesn't seems that bad for a first post!
