a well crafted and fitting end to the series

Nice to see this build up, Paul. I like how you've captured the arrogance and destruction of the dragon in this build. Use of Stahlrim is smart to give a resistance and the apprentice stone is inspired. I use it when I want to simulate weakness to magic and you've actually given me an idea.

Finally!! I was so excited when I saw this.  A fantastic capstone to an already fantastic series!

Awesome way to end this series... I've been eagerly awaiting the Dragon, and was not disappointed :D

I really love the combination of Heavy Armor and Destruction, and builds that soften up enemies by unleashing a flurry of spells as the character plunges into the fray with melee weapons is perhaps one of my favorite combat styles--the best of both worlds. And it fits in so well with the concept of the Dragon!

I'm glad you took your time with this one... it shows :D

You certainly saved the best for last.

For a while I was certain the Apprentice just wouldn't work - I have really only used it once before (in my Evoker, to maximize Blizzard's damage), and that character was a low-Health pure mage.  I was going to just give up and take the Lord stone again, possibly go Vampire for the fire weakness (which is rather draconic, actually), but I ended up just biting the bullet, picking the Apprentice, and finding that it was actually very manageable, even with only minor resistances (consisting of a single 40% Fire Resist amulet and my Nord racial) at the time I selected it, thanks to my fat Health pool.

I've seen some people make that stone the foundation of some very interesting builds, so it's nice I was able to enjoy a little of its power during this series.

    Thanks ShinJin :)

Never really done a battlemage type like this before, but now I understand what people see in them :P

YES! I've checked your page weekly for this ever since the fox. My favorite build series on this site, you are an artist. The Dragon sounds phenomenal, I'm starting right away :D

A straightforward delightful build altogether with great presentation. That apprentice stone though, I don't know about that, If I was to play this build or its archetype, that would be the only thing I would change. All and all great work. Your circle is now complete. Kudos.
