Hey everyone! My name is Mephisto, i am very new to this site and this is my first character build! now that i've briefly introduced myself, without further ado i present to you....

    The Sharmat

Lord Dagoth has finally returned.. Ready to wreak havoc on Tamriel once again!

"What a fool you are. I'm a god, how can you kill a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence. How could you be so naive? There is no escape. No recall or intervention can work in this place. Come, lay down your weapons, it is not too late for my mercy."―Dagoth Ur

Dagoth Ur, known as Voryn Dagoth in life, and whom Vivec would later come to call The Sharmat, was a powerful Chimer Lord and Lord High Councillor to House Dagoth.

The Sharmat is essentially an Unarmed Bloodmage, With Dagoth Ur's life force directly connected to the heart of Lorkhan itself, Allowing him to utilize the effect of Konahrik and the Avoid Death perk to sacrifice large amounts of health to replenish his extremely large magicka pool using the spell Equilibrium, without fear of committing suicide. Albeit this tactic can only be used once a day, two if you're lucky .

    Race: Dunmer

Standing Stone: Mage stone for leveling, then switch to the Atronach stone around level 20-25

Stat Spread: 2 Magicka/1 Health/1 Stamina Until you get about 200 or so health and stamina, then just pump the rest into magicka.

Major Skills: Destruction, Restoration, Heavy Armour, Enchanting, Unarmed (More on this later)

    Minor Skills: Conjuration, Illusion, Alteration.

Shouts: Fire Breath, Drain Vitality, Marked for Death, Become Ethereal, Aura Whisper.

Quests: College of Winterhold Quests, Main Questline, Tel Mithryn Quests.

    Skills

Destruction: This will be our primary form of damage until we get the necessary perks to be effective with unarmed combat. The main focus with this skill is flame cloak, which will add extra damage to unarmed and also burn opponents. Dual cast with impact is also useful at lower levels due to stagger lock.

Perks taken: Novice-Master, Dual Cast, Impact, Augmented Flames 2/2, Intense Flames.

Restoration: This is one of the core functions of the build, i recommend training this skill rather than grinding it as it is quite annoying, had to learn that myself -____- The aim here is to get the avoid death perk, as it is crucial to the core mechanic of this build.

Perks Taken: Novice-Adept, Regeneration, Recovery 2/2, Respite, Avoid Death.

Heavy Armour: This is where the Unarmed combat function comes in, main perk here is Fists of Steel, this perk put together with the Daedric gauntlets we'll be using, along with 5 points into Juggernaut, plus the fire cloak spell augmented by the Aspect of Terror perk will allow us to deal a bunch of damage with fists alone!

Perks taken: Juggernaut 5/5, Fists of Steel.

Enchanting: This skill is used to enchant our armour with fortify health regen, and also boost our total health, this way we will have to rely on our avoid death and konahrik effects less, as we will have more health to convert, and will regenerate faster too.

Perks taken: Enchanter 5/5, Insightful enchanter, Corpus enchanter, Extra Effect.

Conjuration: This skill is mainly used for roleplay purposes. the only spell we'll be using in combat from this school is the Conjure Ash Spawn spell, as this is the only spell in the game that more or less resembles the ash monsters Dagoth Ur had control of.

    Perks Taken: Novice-Adept

Illusion: Used purely for the Aspect of Terror perk to boost the damage of all our fire spells, i recommend perking this skill after getting the 2/2 in augmented flames to maximize the boost received from the perk.

Perks taken: Novice-Apprentice, Hypnotic Gaze, Aspect of Terror.

Alteration: Another core mechanic of this build is included in this school of magic, the spell Equilibrium. The great Voryn Dagoth has no need for petty healing potions! Instead, he draws his power directly from the heart of lorkhan, lessening his life force but also greatly rejuvenating his large supply of magicka. Flesh spells will also be used to augment armour.

Perks Taken: Novice-Master, Magic Resistance 3/3, Stability.

    Equipment

    Konahrik

Amulet of Lorhkan (Gold ruby necklace)

Enchanted with Fortify Healing Rate and Health

    Fur armour

enchanted with Fortify Healing Rate and Health.

Claws of the Living God (Daedric Gauntlets)

Enchanted with Fortify Heavy Armour and Magicka.

Blessing of Red Mountain (Silver Ruby Ring)

Enchanted with Fortify Healing Rate and Health.

Dagoth Ur seems to be too powerful for footwear... and i must admit its funny running around without shoes

    Gameplay/Combat

This build is meant to give you the feel of Dagoth Ur's immortality and connection to red mountain and the heart of lorkhan, this is achieved by the seemingly never ending magicka pool and high damage without even using a weapon. Combat sequence should always be ranged -> ccq, using ash spawns and fireballs to wear down large opponents, then coming in at low health and finishing them off with your bare hands. Regarding the use of equilibrium, be conservative when using it and dont get carried away, as there is only a maximum of two "Life Savers" per day.

Please comment feedback, all criticism is welcome

Some pointers to help you out:

Your font is wildly inconsistent. Easy solution to that is to highlight the entire document and select one font and size to go with.

Next up that opening picture is very blurry and the quality isnt all that great. You need a great opening image and a great introduction to hook your readers. Right now you have a small blurry image and a less than impressive intro.

Lastly theres no reason for your equipment section to take up that much space. The oversized images paired with scarce amounts of text make that entire section feel like fluff meant to bolster the overall size of the write up. If I were you Id hit up the art group and ask for an equipment spread.

I love builds based on old Morrowind lore and there's a lot for Dagoth Ur to go on. It's a great concept that I haven't seen a lot of, but I feel you should go more into it. Why is he here in Skyrim now? You've got the gameplay for a standard, powerful warlock down (and the cool addition of punching, which mixes well with spells, imo) but how does it feel like Dagoth Ur? Explain how he goes through the world and explain the steps that you took out of Helgen to create him. Why is so he weak to be captured by Imperials and how does he regain his power? You've got a good base, for the most part, just expand on it and tidy up your presentation. There's tons of great Morrowind fan art for him or you can ask someone to take screenshots.

The best thing I've seen are ability icons from other games. Dragon Age, DOTA2, even Bioshock has a few I can think of. Their respective wikis normally have the icons in good resolution.

Okay thank you, also is it better to edit the post in microsoft word then copy it over?

I normally write them up in Word, copy them over and then reformat it in ning, since ning can be a bit of a pain. Images won't copy over and other little bugs.
