Bit of a crime that I had never liked this one. Not sure how that even happened, as it's actually been one of my favorites of yours since I joined the blog. The post-DB version is a marked improvement over the original, which is really saying something considering how awesome the original was. Can't believe I hadn't liked this before now.

    @ Jordan Rodriguez

Please don't spam my inbox with build questions, they belong here! I had no idea which build you were even talking about.

And I still don't know what you're finding hard to understand.

A Breton character at level 1 under the atronach stone has access to 100% Spell Absorption, it's a 'special move' (spell immunity)

"....granting the Sentinel a 60 second window to deliver total carnage to enemy spellcasters or dragon priests."

I didn't say it was permanent. I said it grants a 60 second window.

Hey Mason, I'm thinking of trying this. What should I do early on, to level up destruction fast, so I don't fall behind, while my one-handed, block and heavy armor are high? Also, what level of smithing should I have by level 15 and 20? And by those levels (15-30) Should I favor some skills? Which?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for all the questions

    Whoa boy!! Whaaaaat?

    Lol...

You should chill right out when you use the Bronze mate! Just cruise along being a heavy armored warrior! Keep visiting that atronach stone with your potions and boosting your spell absorption and your magical talents will rise up when they are ready, don't stress them.

For smithing just make some iron daggers until you hit 30, then go and do Alftand ruined tower and carry home all the junk. Then maybe go visit that new Mzulft workshop for some bits n bobs as well...

Make some dosh and try and buy the armor from merchants at level 17. Just go and win.

Thanks for the advice Mason  Just gonna chill out as a tank warrior, use restoration when needed, and sometimes destruction, and with my advanced atronach stone use Eternal Flames sparingly versus dragon priests and casters that are hard to kill. Buy equipment at level 17, and WIN

Would the Sentinel builds be particularly hampered without the Restoration perks? I have kind of a thing for Enchanting...

Atronachs and restoration go hand in hand in my opinion, it's definitely important for this character...

Well, I'm sure I can wean myself off enchanting for the good of the build.

Mason, a wonderful build, and one of my favourite armour sets now, they start looking ridiculous once you get past Dwarven or Elven. Combined with a mana-eating mage-suppressor & even my little Khajiit can stand in front of mages to burn them with their own spells.

I got an account here just to comment on this build :)
