Ah, Fort Greymoor. Good tip, there are several pair there. I haven't touched any crafting besides Smithing with this build, but I think learning a few enchants (being picky and only selecting Restoration/Sneak items to disenchant) and applying them to the base apparel might be helpful. I think maybe by using some of those enchanting tables found in Nordic Ruins or Forsworn camps I can square it with the lore--or the one encountered at Orphan Rock while helping Danica in Whiterun. Praying to the Wolf after a successful hunt and offering the spirits of the prey, I'll call it. I'll have to climb Hag's End to get Bloodthorn first though, no random loot will do for Soul Trap. The Predator's Grace boots are up there too, perfect boots for a light armor follower.
The Axe of Whiterun I got had a Fear effect on it, and I found it was exhilarating to whack a guy with that and then chase him down. Turn Undead has the same effect on Draugr & Skeletons. Very much in the spirit!
