Alright I'm going to keep this short, sweet and to the point. This build is an Argonian Warrior created from a combination of Lore, Ridiculous Combos and me combining a lot of different items, effects, perks and powers to make a character that is ridiculously strong when entering his "Super Form". I hope you all have just as much fun with this character as I did and enjoy the

Note: Kaj-Wamasu is Jel (the Argonian Language) for Giant big-mouthed reptile of blood lightning. According to UESP anyway.

Few withstand the Lighting, few withstand the Storm. None can resist the power within my soul and none can resist the power of my magic. I am one of the few left of the Lightning-Bloods, Argonian Soldiers from the depths of Black Marsh who worship the one true gods left here. The Wamasu, giant lizards with Lighting-for-Blood, can charge the air around him with Lighting, breath fire and uses Smoke to disorient enemies. Beasts like this that can only be lesser Aedra who have come to this land to teach us how to live, how to fight. I am nothing special out of the Lightning-Bloods except for the fact that I have been a member for so very long. I go now to the land of the Northern-Men for I feel the call, the call for what I'm not quite sure but I feel a call bringing me to Skyrim...

    Race: Argonian

    Stats: 1/1/1

    Stone: Lord

Major Skills: One-Handed, , Destruction, and Restoration.

Minor Skills: Alchemy and Heavy Armour

    Shouts:

    • Storm Call, Unrelenting Force, Fire Breath, Dragon Aspect and Cyclone

    Powers and Spells;

    • Sailor's Repose, Histskin, Dragon Infusion, Seeker of Sorcery, Secret of Arcana, Dragonborn Force, Spectral Drum, Mora's Boon and Companion's Insight.
    • Healing, Lightning Storm, Lightning Cloak and Sparks

    A Note on Equipment

Other Equipment includes Shalidor's Insights (Destruction and Restoration) and Potions that will be listed below. Before picking up Zahkriisos (which should be done at around level 35) Rahgot is an excellent replacement, the +70 Stamina is quite useful. With Gauntlets I found the Blades Gauntlets and Boots to be good substitutes and they can be picked up fairly early. I would have added these into the Equipment Spread but obviously it's a little full at the moment.

Restoration: My main goal for this character was actually to find a way to create a way to make the basic Healing Spell ridiculously strong. As Skyrim tends to work, there isn't a way that makes is permanently strong and it is very much a preparation/panic button.

One-Handed: I went with a heavy focus on Bound Daggers because of the effect that Dual-Wield Power Attacks have when Bound Daggers are used. The effect is broken so it's more like a Sword but with the speed and damage of a dagger. This means we are actually attacking a little bit faster than a normal dagger would allow, meaning more damage over time.

Heavy Armour: I went with Heavy Armour because this character really did need the extra defenses. Because of how little I perked it in the end (and the odd mixing of gear) meant I didn't hit that high even with the Lord certainly a good point but one where Healing is still relevant.

Destruction: I'll admit this skill is really the thing that makes this build quite powerful. Once we max out everything and hit level 45 we are going to be a very deadly force. Lightning Storm isn't used often because it is a little tedious to need to charge up, that and the large cost to Magicka (which we can get around) makes it a very rarely used spell.

Alchemy: Alchemy is a very important tool for this character, it makes the spells much, much stronger and in the end is partially responsible for this character's ridiculous damage.

Main Quest: "These Dragons are back, they are like the Wamasu that I have hunted for so long, except these have caused so much evil to be unleashed on the land... They are responsible for the Draugr that walk their halls, the Dragon Priests which I have killed and for countless death and destruction. I will end the threat they show this land, even if it costs me my life. ALL Dragons will die, if only to rid this realm of any threat as large as them."

Blades Quests: "Finally some sane humans in this land, dedicated to hunting down and killing Dragons. These Blades know exactly what threat these Dragons are to Skyrim and the world in general. That and they are smart enough to try and have Alduin's Brother murdered, that Dragon may be "good" now but even he admitted that he was evil...He was nice enough I suppose but he was a threat we couldn't allow to live.

Hunt the Dragon Priests Down: "Just like their Dragon Overlords these once men have caused Death here. They are not worthy of life, whether it be undead life or living breath. All shall die by my blade and magic."

College of Winterhold: "I may be a different spell-caster but I cannot deny that I use Magic. I need to be able to learn how to control it better, and perhaps to become an even stronger Caster. I have come to regret my decision a little, they had so many damned problems because they were too curious. That Orb they brought in nearly ended Skyrim.

Frostflow Abyss: "I remember once, stumbling across a lighthouse, it was between the cities of Dawnstar and Winterhold and there was something, something just eerie about it. I entered this place in a kind of trance and fought my way through a massive amount of Chaurus. It wasn't until I reached the end when something odd happened. After killing the largest (and I presume the Alpha) I gutted him and took out the remains of a human, odd even for me. I then proceeded to drop the remains into the Beacon at the top. I felt some sort of calm come over me then. An odd feeling, and by the Hist did I run."

Dawnguard (Volkihar):  "I had little choice, I know what Harkon meant that day, it was either death or death. One death meant near-life and the other meant nothing, this realm would no doubt be devastated by Alduin if I had not accepted his offer. Now I accept the Powers he gave me, though I do not mourn his death.

The Final Descent: "After those Cultist attacked me, and after a considerable amount of time I left Skyrim to be at the island of Solthseim. While there I was helping an old miner, he asked me to find something about some relative of his, one that had been trapped in the mines and killed. I went through this mine, killing the Draugr that had been raised until I found a room. This room had the person/thing that cam closest to killing me. A Dragon Priest that could shoot Lightning stronger then I could and could also, resist it. I had only my daggers and after I first summoned them, well by then I didn't have enough Magicka to bring them back.

My face was horribly injured there, and it was only by sheer luck that I stumbled into the next room (I did kill the Dragon Priest of course, luckily), Herma Mora had great power there and I stumbled into what turned out to be his Black Book. He healed me and melded that mask to my face in return for service to him...

Find the Black Books: "My master commands me to find them, all of them and learn their secrets. I must, I must. I have heard that these Books make you crazy, they take the last strips of life away from you and leave you a babbling madman. I will prevail over these, I mean Herma Mora has my back, I cannot fail this task for he saved me from certain death."

Dragonborn Questline: "I had no choice, I had to do it, you don't understand. Hermaues Mora turned me from what I was, turned me into this, but I'm alive at least, at least I can still help people. I HAD NO CHOICE I TELL YOU. My power has grown significantly since that day, even though my pain hasn't stopped. All the time I feel the pain in my head, it's Mora telling me to kill Miraak, kill, kill, kill, that's all he wants. I'll kill him and then the voices will stop. I am the Wamasu, a living legend, and today is the day that Miraak and I shall both hopefully die.

Combat for Kaj-Wamsu takes place either right in front of an enemy, or from very far away from them. Combining lighting quick daggers and staggeringly powerful Shock Spells to deal a lot of damage. The benefits of Shock Spells are that they damage Magicka along with the Health damage, on the downside they cost a fair bit more Magicka then the cheaper Fire and Frost spells.

Bound Daggers are actually a rather useful weapon for a character that doesn't use Stealth. Because the weapons have an odd glitch that means they make sounds and essentially work like Swords with shorter reach, less damage and faster swing speeds. This actually makes  it a very viable melee weapon for a Heavily Armored Warrior that can take the hits being given at that close range.

Against Melee Enemies: Letting Melee enemies to come closer to you is the best idea. You can take them out with Sparks and as soon as they start getting closer you can take out your daggers and slice away. It's very basic and they really are the easiest enemy to killing.

Against Ranged Enemies: Against Mages Kaj-Wamasu cannot get close at all. This means he has to rely on powerful Shock Spells, Shouts and the Lord Stone. Storm Call is particularly useful when outside because it will either destroy a Mage's Ward or even better strike them and deal large amounts of damage. Sparks is then used to damage them.

Unrelenting Force is much more useful inside because Storm Call doesn't work, that and the ability to push a Mage with no Ward up across the field. Archers are dealt with much the same way but are even easier.

Against Dragons: At earlier levels the Storm Call Shout will absolutely wreck Dragons, the constant and rapid Lightning Bolts can deal a lot of damage and eventually knock them down to your level. On the ground moving around to the sides and then killing them with Daggers is fairly easy.

Later on you can use Lightning Storm to destroy Dragons as soon as they stop moving.

Destructive Pathways: Ash Creep Cluster + Nightshade + Dragon's Tongue (Resist Fire %45 and Fortify Destruction %75)

I heavily Recommend keeping this on you at all times. The Fortify Destruction Effect is useful against any enemy and the Resist Fire can also be quite useful. Swapping out the Ash Creep Cluster with Glowing Mushroom can be a good substitute until you get to Solthseim.

Healing Factor: Garlic + Salt Pile + Yellow Mountain Flower (Fortify Magicka Regen %75, Fortify Restoration %75 and Resist Poison %48)

This Potion will just about always be useful, if it's not the Fortify Restoration being useful it's the Magicka Regen (The Resist Poison is simply because this is a very, very common combo). I recommend always keeping a few on hand at least keep the Fortify Restoration effect up by combining Salt Piles with Cyrodilic Spadetail or Abecean Longfin

The Rejuvenation: Blue Mountain Flower + Wheat (Fortify Health 60 Points and Heal 94 Health)

This Potion is pretty much the staple for this character throughout the whole game. It isn't as important to abilities but it will give you the ability to survive more hits and give you a significant instant Healing Effect.

The Breath of the Wamasu:  Destructive Pathways + Shalidor's Scroll of Destruction + Zahkriisos and Augmented Shock 2/2 + Secret of Arcana + Lightning Storm

With this combo we can see one of the two spells that create this build do a ridiculous amount of damage to enemy Health and Magicka. Lightning Storm when boosted by this set manages to inflict 369 (461 against Undead) damage for 0 Magicka, is this a little overpowered. Yes it most certainly is almost ridiculously overpowered, but that's the fun bit. Besides on higher difficulties an arrow could still deal a fair bit of damage.Because Shalidor's Insights are  very rare scrolls this combo should be saved for multiple Dragons or large hoards of tougher bosses.

Immortal Survival: Healing Factor + Regeneration and Sailor's Repose + Shalidor's Scroll of Restoration + Healing Spell

I know that this might seem like a fairly simple combo and it really is. Combined the two actually can heal you for 43 Health/Second, even better is the fact that it costs a grand total of 1 Magicka to do. It represents the ability to heal ridiculously fast and with this there are few enemies who can come close to killing you. Again it's a rarely used ability because of how difficult it is to get the Scrolls needed (well it's a pain and you only get 3 at a time)

Roleplay with the Kaj-Wamasu is quite simple. He is a Dragon Hunter first and foremost, think of him as an equivalent to the Vigilant's and their views on Daedra, he will hunt down any Dragon (yes this meant Paarthurnax  for me) This isn't a Roleplay heavy build and really it boils down to what you want, I felt that playing along the quests that I set out can establish a certain character and towards the end I started acting erratically, killing people randomly on occasion and filling myself with the knowledge of the Black Books.

Thanks Everyone for reading. A few thanks to pass around as usual. To Teccam for helping with some of the numbers and what not for the build, Curse for helping with a few ideas I had and Noodles (credit goes to this Person for that artwork)  for providing the last picture. As always leave a comment about what you thought and any improvements you think there could be on the build and perhaps leave a like.

Its unique. So Kaj wamasu is related to dragons???

Kaj-Wamasu is Jel (the Argonian Language) for Giant big-mouthed reptile of blood lightning

A Wamasu is a Dragon like Lizard that lives/lived in Black Marsh. They are sort of similar in terms of appearance and an Argonian who tries to mimic the Wamasu would see the Dragons as lesser beings, that and I felt the character had a sense of justice that meant killing Dragons (and thus saving Skyrim from them) was a great honor.

Thanks for liking and commenting Aaron and I hope I explained that for you (though I might have over-explained looking back on it).

The name sounds like some kind of Japanes food

Anyway, I like what you did here with the Argonian. Storm theme fits this guy. I like it, DB. As always

It kind of does sound Asian-Inspired a little doesn't it. Didn't notice before now to be honest.

I'm glad you enjoyed the read and of course I must thank you for the comment and like.

  • May 10, 2015

It definetely has that Asian feel to it. But give me your honest answer. You think that this lizard would be...eatable?

  • May 10, 2015

Eat this Lizard...Hahaha no. He would fry your brain (and the rest of your body) in 3 seconds.

  • May 10, 2015

There are worse ways to go...

Let's see, lightning magic, cool armor combo, and "Note: Kaj-Wamasu is Jel (the Argonian Language) for Giant big-mouthed reptile of blood lightning. According to UESP anyway." You would have gotten my like just for that. AWEsomemwork
