I am indeed. Getting to the "end game", I am really getting to feel more and more powerful, specially now that the spell, scroll and staff collection has increased (chain lighting staffs are just plain OP), and there are many quest lines I'm interested in finishing with this character. I'm not playing it as much because I'm working on a build of my own, though, and have a mind to try your transient sorcerer again (after a disastrous attempt that ended at level 15) once I feel it's time for my Dunmer wizard to rest.

A build of your own, eh? Can't wait to see it. Can I expect a magic-user?

You design some really awesome builds, mate! My mind is already racing with possible ways of playing this guy...

The freedom of creativity is the best part of this build. Share any unique custom spells you come up with and I'll link them in the New Custom Spells section. We've had some good ones already.

An interesting thought occurred to me. Since the character can basically get killed in 1-2 hits on Master or Legendary, how about making use of Human Form Vampiric Grip to knock down (this can be down with a quick tap of the cast button) stronger opponents like Draugr Deathlords to give the Wizard some time to prepare his actual spells. It seems to have an epic wizardry feel to it... like a Saruman versus Gandalf battle.

The major restriction being that you can't use the game physics to make the kill!

    Mummy Dust

Marked for Death + Secret of Arcana + Whirlwind Cloak + Ash Shell + Summon Wrathman (Optional Twin Souls)

The Wizard flings a finely ground dust made from ancient mummies towards his enemies. Those unfortunate enough to breathe in the dust are inflicted with Mummy Rot, a withering supernatural disease that saps their strength and life. The dust swirls around the caster flinging nearby enemies to the ground. As those who are further away witness this horrid scene, they are inflicted by a paralyzing Despair as dust carried on the winds engulfs them. When the dust settles on the ground, it coalesces into the form of one or two mummies who will vanquish the caster's weakened enemies.

Evard's Evocation of the Storm Dragon

Stealth + Silent Casting + Call Dragon + Wait 1 Hour + Dragon Aspect + Fortify Destruction Potion + Whirlwind Cloak + Throw Voice + Storm Call + Secret of Arcana + Chain Lightning (non-dual cast)

The Wizard stealthily scouts out his enemies from a distance before choosing a plan of attack. He then preforms an hour long ritual to summon a dragon ally. After the ritual is complete, he drinks an elixir to focus his mind before the upcoming battle. He then summons forth roaring winds as a storm begins to form around him. He tauntingly runs straight into the midst of his enemies where he bellows the final words of his incantation, resulting in a deafening clap of thunder. As the storm clouds twist and swirl above him and lightning pulses through the sky, the Wizard transforms into a living conduit for the power of the storm and lightning arcs forth from his fingertips to smite his enemies.

I like the concept but I wouldn't opt for that route personally. One, because you'd lose a hand for casting Flames effectively. And two, Vampiric Grip is too strong lol. It's on par with Windshear and it's infinite stagger locking. Takes some of the challenge away. But that's me, if you dig the roleplay of it then force push away!

Three shouts in one omega badass spell, nice touch. I like the roleplay of a grueling and lengthy ritual to bring forth the dragon and a hurricane of destruction. It should come with a warning label: For Outside Use Only! Lol

Mummy Dust is a very effective spell! You could even upgrade it with an Ash Rune for some excellent crowd control! These are definitely going in the build. Post more as you play more. As I played the character I was continually creating new powerful spells. It's like spell crafting from previous games but on drugs!!
