So, after Miraak’s sad deletion of his Temple Knight, I decided to do my own version of it, utilizing the Dawnguard and Dragonborn content to fit well with this character, without further adieu, I present.....

Order, control, peace, these are what we wish for Tamriel. For ages, we have manipulated and influenced key figures in history, a number of which were members of the Temple Knights themselves. Our only adversaries were the Assassin’s Order, also known as the Brotherhood, who value free will over unity. With the Civil War raging in Skyrim, it is a prime opportunity to re-assert our control over the frozen nation. We have sent one of our own there, to secure our Templar Order a place, and recover any Precursor artifacts. Thus shall it be.

“May the Father of Understanding guide Us.”

Race: While Bretons would fit due to their magical resistance, or Altmer due to their long-lifespans, and the Thalmor (A number of which are Temple Knights), I chose Imperial. They get a boost in One-Handed, Enchanting, Destruction, and Block. Plus, Voice of the Emperor fits as great Crowd Control.

Standing Stone: The Lord. The extra AR and Magicka resistance help bolster the builder's defenses. It also fits how a number of Templars are either nobility, or the rulers themselves.

Stat Ratio: 4/2/2 in Magicka, Health, and Stamina, we’ll need a good amount of Magicka for the spells we pull off.

Equipment: I went for a Knightly look, resembling that of the historical Templar Order. If you have the Uncraftable mod, you can make an enchantable version of the Dawnguard Full Helmet. If not, then I utilized Dawnguard Boots, Ulfric’s Bracers, Winterhold Guard Armor, and Winterhold Guard Helmet. With weapons, my main dealer of damage switched between a Silver Sword, primarily for looks, and extra damage to undead, and an Ebony Mace.

Shouts: Bend Will, Unrelenting Force, Storm Call, Battle Fury,  Slow Time, Marked for Death, Become Ethereal

Major Skills: One-Handed, Light Armor, Enchanting, Illusion

    Minor Skills: Destruction, Speech, Block.

Recommended Quests-Civil War (Imperials), Volkihar, Destroy the Dark Brotherhood, The College of Winterhold, Unearthed, The Forsworn Conspiracy, No One Escapes Cidhna Mine, The Wolf Queen Awakened, Blood on the Ice, Destroying the Dawnguard, Dragonborn, Lost to the Ages.

With battles, you have to plan things out, scope out the area. Walking into a room, I cast a Fury, then a Fear on my enemies, watching as they tore each other apart (kettlecorn not neccessary), before equipping my blade or blunt, and either going sword/mace and board, or spellsword combat style, and weaved in and out of the throng of foes. If things got too hectic, I used either Voice of the Emperor, or Become Ethereal and Harmony to buy myself some time

Before I was able to take Master of the Mind with Illusion, I would soften up undead with lightning spells, bashes, and oil traps, allowing my follower to aid me in cutting them down. Mages lost their magicka to me with shock spells, allowing me to close the gap and slay them.

Dragons were pretty difficult in the beginning, with only basic spells that did little damage. Later on, with stronger spells, and Weakness to Shock poisons, dragons soon lost the ability to Fire Breath/Frost Breath (Due to Shouts being counted as magic, from my experience), and will be forced to land, where a combination of shock spells, Quick Reflexes, and bashes, alongside my follower, they were felled.

Visage of Order-The helmet every member of the Templars are given, it allows us to keep up the appearance of being a Knightly Order. (Winterhold Guard Helmet enchanted with Fortify Destruction and Illusion)

Bastion of Control-A cuirass woven from reinforced scales, with the Temple Knight colors over it, coated with an oil that mitigates the effects of a poisoned blade. (Winterhold Guard Armor enchanted with Fortify Healing Rate and Resist Poison)

Braces of Enlightenment-Reinforced boots made so one may stand their ground against chaos and sedition. (Dawnguard Boots enchanted with Fortify One-Handed and Resist Frost/Fire)

Vambraces of Intellect-Chainmail and boiled leather gauntlets that each Temple Knight is given. (Ulfric’s Bracers enchanted with Fortify Block and Fortify One-Handed)

Ward of Deceit-An identifying ring each member of the Temple Knight wears, also doubles as a key to secret Temple Knight safehouses, vaults, etc. (Gold Diamond Ring enchanted with Resist Magic and Resist Poison)

Cruxis of Truth-A cruxcis, the trademark of the Temple Knights, that is given to each member once they go through initiation, and are judged by the Grand Master to be ready for Knighthood. (Gold Ruby Necklace enchanted with Fortify Barter and Fortify Illusion)

Aegis of Unity-A bulwark representing the unity we shall bring to Nirn once we come into our full power. (Imperial Shield enchanted with Resist Magic (Shield of Solitude) and Resist Shock)

Slayer of Chaos-A spell smithed blade of purest silver, it slays both the living, and the non-living. (Silver Sword enchanted with Fire Damage and Paralyze)

Gavel of Justice-An enchanted hammer that destroys any and all unlawful beings, and any who stand in our way. (Ebony Mace enchanted with Banish and FIery Soul Trap)

Sword of Aetherius-A Precursor artifact recovered by one of our agents from an upstart Assassin, you have been given the task of guarding it, and making sure it does not fall into Brotherhood hands again. (Elven Sword enchanted with Chaos and Banish/Shock Damage and Absorb Health)

    • If you see any on the road, slay Stormcloak soldiers with extreme prejudice, taking a memento from each.

    • Help citizens if you must, mainly to bolster the image of the Temple Knights as an orderof noble Knights.

    • If a member of the Brotherhood attacks you, lay a roll of paper on their body, as a note warning the Brotherhood not to cross the Temple Knights.

    • After the Civil War is over, raid any Stormcloak camps.

    • Whenever possible, sit down and read a book, Temple Knights have a love of knowledge.

    cooltext1809471288.png

Aethereal Control-Utilizing the Sword of Aetherius, alongside his natural charisma, the Temple Knight bends the will of his foes around him, driving some to madness, and others to fight for him.

(Bend Will (2 words)+Mayhem+Sword of Aetherius+Dual-Cast Courage spell)

Immovable Object-Standing his ground, shield raised, the Temple Knight slams his shield into his foes, firing off spells with his free hand. Once one remains, he moves towards them, mace or blade in hand. (Block+Power Bashes+Frenzy/Fear+Gavel of Justice/Slayer of Chaos)

The Enemy of my Enemy-When all seems dire, the Temple Knight calls upon his natural charm in order to calm their fighting, before using his Aethereal artifacts to bend them to his side.

(Surrounded by enemies+Voice of the Emperor+Bend Will)

Aethereal Conduit-Conducting the energies of the Sword of Aetherius through his form, the Temple Knight calls a storm with the blade’s energies, before redirecting the energy through himself to his enemies.

    (Sword of Aetherius+Storm Call+Move away+Lightning Storm)

Well, thank you for reading, and a special thanks to Alice for the Perk Spreads.

Awesome, I like Knights. My wood elf is wearing the modded version of the Elven armor (Black Elven Armor and weapons) makes him like the Black Knight.

I am thinking of making a character like this build or something similar to a Gladiatoric Pit Fighter.

You should probably put that in the build

Mind changing the name? I know that bit's a bit up for debate, but I have mended the build that was the Temple Knight. While it's under a different name or not, I'd like for the term "Temple Knight" to rest in peace.
