That would interfere with summoning the familiar. Unless you're on PC. But then you need mods to revert Aspect of Terror and fix (or unfix) Marked for Death.

    This is phenomenal. +1

True. I always forget about the spell absorption/summon glitch (I rarely ever used Conjuration in Skyrim).

I really like the fact that this build endeavors to use only "cantrip" spells. I'm a sucker for unconventional playstyles!

Take Librari's word for it, the early levels are tough but once the right perks and spells come together it's super fun!

Oh, I imagine that it is. I enjoy challenging builds. I've always been the type who scoffs at all forms of armor, enchanted items, etc. in favor of interesting or minimalist characters.

It really is. I'd like it twice if I could!

Oh don't worry, I will! I'm gonna play that variant on Mason's sorcerer I've been meaning to ever since getting a new PC for now... that'll give me a chance to verify mod stability and find which mods won't make the cut for Mr. Rambler. What's causing crashes, how much immersion is too much, etc.

Haha you guys are too kind. We'll see if you feel the same after taking on Skyrim's ferocity armed with naught but a flame spell and familiar. Goodluck!

I got really good at kiting with the flames spells when I was trying out the Sapiarch. It's amazing how skilled you can get at strafing using a controller, it becomes a necessity when enemies are at almost darksouls level of difficulty

Would you believe I've never actually bothered with the Dawnstar museum before? I consoled myself the Mythic Dawn set and wow, that really does fit a Sorcerer to a T! (Wut, but there is no T in Sorcerer)
