So, I just finished for the first time the Dragonborn questline (despite that I bought the DLC about 3 months ago) and I wanted to share my build with you guys. This is my second build (the first was a failure). I hope you like it.

    Backstory:

The Winterborn is a strong and fair-haired Nord full of pride. He lived his whole life in a small farm with his father at the south of Eastmarch, so he is well adapted to the harsh weather of the land. His father trained him in the use of the warhammer and in the art of smithing, as well as in wearing heavy armor and knowing how to take a hit. His father fought in the Great War in the side of the Empire. He watched as the elves killed all his childhood friends one by one by their magic and blade. By the time his son became 14, a bunch of Thalmor spotted their farm and kidnapped him, as he was a proud Talos believer, and tortured him to death, burning down the farm and tossing his son to the cold river to meet his fate. But somehow, the child survived the frozen water and managed to return to land and find a fire to warm himself. From there on, he passed his life wandering the lands of skyrim hunting with stone arrows and daggers and fishing with his bare hands. He didn't have any money to buy a house or rent a room at an inn, so he managed to create a fur tent out of animal pelts to keep him warm at night. He still kept with him the Iron Warhammer of his father and had promised to spill elf blood with it.

One day, he spoted a male boar wandering near darkwater crossing. For the last weeks, the only thing he has been eating was wolf meat and honestly, it wasn't very tasty. So, he draw his wooden bow and shot the animal with a stone arrow of his. He found target, but the beast wouldn't go down so easily. It started to run in the woods away from him. He chased it, but it was too fast. Finally, he gave up and sat under a tree to get some rest. That's were he heard a noise and approached to see what was happening. He saw a Stormcloak camp nearby, being attacked by the Imperial Legion leaded by Tullius himself. Oh, how much he hated this man! He is letting Thalmor to roam Skyrim's lands and do whatever they want with innocent citizens. It was because of him that his father was now dead. He draw his warhammer and sprinted towards him. But someone shot an arrow to his back and dropped him. Luckily, the bear pelt he had on him saved his life that day. He awoke several hours later on a carriage on it's way to Helgen...

Fate didn't want him dead. And now he is back to take his revenge.

    The Build:

Race: Nord of course! But you can choose an Orc as well, although it doesn't fit very much with the rp.

Stat placement: Magicka 0/ Health 4/ Stamina 1. As I said, the Winterborn must know how to take a hit and with a huge pool of health, it is easier ;).

Standing Stone: Warrior for a start-up. Then switch to the Steed if you want to be more quick on heavy armor or the Lord so that you can take a hit by a fire breath.

Major Skills: Two handed, Heavy Armor, Archery

Minor Skills: Smithing, Block and Speech, clearly for RP purposes. You must be intimidating.

As you can see, this is clearly a pure Warrior build. No magic at all. Neither enchanting. The Winterborn doesn't trust magic. Never. No magic. No. No. No.

You don't trust any kind of magic. You think that mages are cowards that are affraid to fight in close combat with a sword, so they cast from afar their fancy magics, that goes against the law of nature. You will fight everything that isn't natural, such as draugr, witches, hagravens etc. You respect the forces of nature, so you tend not to fight Spriggans, as you consider them sacred. Also, the only reason you are going to kill an animal is to keep yourself fed. If a predator attacks you, use Kyne's Peace to let the beast live for a little longer. You respect the dead, so no grave-robbing. Either way, you don't need septims and jewels to make a living.

    You live by yourself.

    Equipment:

    Armor

    Head: Iron Helmet

    Chest: Banded Iron Armor

    Boots: Iron Boots

    Gauntlets: Iron Gauntlets

    Weapons

    Iron Warhammer + Long Bow

As you can see, this build isn't overpowered at all. You can upgrade your armor with smithing, but if it is too weak for you, you can switch to Blades Armor until the finish of the Main Quest. I like keeping it realistic, so I stayed with a complete set of (fine) Iron Armor 'till I defeated Alduin. You will be making heavy use of Shouts, such as Become Ethereal (to dodge dragon fire/ice attacks) and Unrelenting Force (to push multiple enemies away from you).

After the Main Quest you need to head to Fort Dawnguard and sign up as a vampire hunter. Store somewhere your old bow and grab a crossbow. For the Dawnguard Questline you will wearing Dawnguard Armor, of course.

    Armor

    Head: Dawnguard Full Helmet

    Chest: Dawnguard Heavy Armor

    Boots: Dawnguard Heavy Boots

    Gauntlets: Dawnguard Heavy Gauntlets

    Weapons

    Dawnguard Warhammer + Enhanced Crossbow

You won't sell your old equipment. Especially, your Iron Warhammer. After you slayed Alduin with it, it has gained tremendous amounts of power. It has become something like Dragonbane, but even more stronger. You need to sealed it somewhere, because the world is not ready for it, yet. A display case in Hjerim, your house in Windhelm (if you consider buying it) or a chest in your farm in Falkreath (if you consider building it) is ok.

After you arrive in Solstheim, your equipment will change for one last time. Again, you will put the old armor and weapons on your hideout, as trophies.

    Armor

    Head: Nothing

    Chest: Nordic Carved Armor

    Boots: Nordic Carved Boots

    Gauntlets: Nordic Carved Gauntlets

    Weapons

    Nordic Warhammer + Enhanced Crossbow

This will be your end-game gear. After all that, you have become a great and wise warrior, so you can survive without helmet. Either way, I hate the looks of the Nordic Carved Helmet. It is recommended to wear hood when it is raining to keep realism alive. Adept Hood looks great with the rest of the armor. Or you can try the Thieves Guild one, but I can't see another way of getting it without joining and you won't join.

    Quests:

Main Quest. You are the Last Dragonborn. You thankfully accept the gift the Gods have bestowed upon you and follow the path that was laid towards you. So, the Main Quest is a essential.

Dawnguard Quest. As I mentioned, you hate everything unnatural. So, you are not supposed to like some blood-thirsty immortal deadmen roaming around your homeland slaying everyone.

Civil War. You are a true Nord. Morrowind is Dunmer land, Summerset Isle is High Elf land, Valenwood is Bosmer land etc. Why not Skyrim be a Nord land? After all that fight your ancestors did to defend this land, it is redicilous that a sold out Empire still rules over this land. This isn't freedom. The Empire is letting the Thalmor do whatever they want with the population of the continent. They killed the only family you had left. It is time for revenge. All hail to Ulfric! You are the High King! In your great honour we drink and we sing!

Dragonborn Quest. Cultists have attacked you sent by someone named Miraak. So, your last journey will take you to Solstheim, against a great force. At first, you will hate this island. The ash is constantly getting in your eyes and you 're getting mad. But in the end, you will love the Northern part. You will love the Skaal way of life, and you will need to stop Miraak.

     Attitude:

You are not a racist, but you believe that Skyrim is a Nord land. That doesn't mean that all races but Nords have to leave the land. That means that the Nords have to be a majority, but the way it goes, they won't. You hate ignorance. Everyone living in this continent must fight for his freedom. An Empire banning the worship of Talos is a broken Empire. A corrupted Empire. They are sold out. The resistance in Hammerfell against the Dominion is still standing after 30 years without an Empire over it's head. The Empire is weak. 30 years has passed since the Great War and still, the Empire is one their knees. We need new leaders. New chieftens. If the Redguards survived so long, so can the Nords. If they combine their powers, the Dominion is gone. Redguards and Nords are the best fighters in all of Tamriel. The Thalmor have no chance.

More and more are joining Ulfric's rebellion. If he manage to take over Skyrim, as it should be, everyone will follow him, because he will legalize the worship of Talos again. His army will get bigger and bigger, and soon will be a great force, not to be reckoned with. With this in mind, you won't show respect to anyone that isn't willing to fight against the Thalmor, because he thinks that it isn't his battle. So, the first time you enter Windhelm and you see those two Nords terrorizing this Dunmer woman you will take their place, because she said that "But... we haven't taken a side because it's not our fight". *you aren't known for your tember* "What in the name of Talos do you mean by saying it is not your fight? Aren't you a part of this world? A part of this city? You came here second and you ask for a more luxurious house? And where will the Nords go? You want to swap places with them? It was your choice to come here. If you want to stay you will have to stay where you are. We cannot throw more money to make the city bigger, so that you can have a luxurious house. No, I don't like you". "Then we have nothing more to talk about".

But alright, you didn't like that this dude was bullying her for being a Dunmer, so you go beat him up. You won't tolerate racism, neither ignorance.

    Last Notes.

Your journey has made you wise. You have travelled across mythical lands and have seen things a man shouldn't have seen. Your hunger for adventure is starting to be quenched. You are now known by many names.

Dovahkiin. Demon Hunter. The Breath of Arkay. Bone Breaker. Stormblade. Savior. Hero. Traveller. Wanderer.

    The Wanderer.

    End.

After defeating Miraak, you feel like this was the end of your journey. You fulfilled your destiny.

You are starting to get old. Your beard is starting to get greyer. The hammer heavy. The armor heavier. You want Sovngarde to be your resting place. To see once again the Hall of Valor and drink with the heroes of old. You see it approaching, but something else is getting on the way. Something evil and power-hungry. Hermaeus Mora. You need to escape. No physical training can offer you that. No adventure or wander can offer you an escape from your fate. You don't want to become like Miraak. The mind is your only chance. Thinking. Philosophy. Communication with the spirits of the earth. Communication with the Gods.

40 years after the fall of Miraak, you are standing at the top of a snowy hill, watching as the see swallows the sun. Longpipe in your mouth. You are thinking about the days of old. The days of glory and might. You wonder what is happening in the world at the moment. Is Ulfric still the High King? Are the dragons trully gone? Are the vampires gone? Is there a new threat?

For 40 years you lived with the Skaal. Learnt their ways. Learnt their God, the Allmaker. Now, you are starting to realise that the Empire's pantheon and the Allmaker are one. You are starting to realise what the oneness the Skaal are talking about is. You are starting to be one with nature. The ground, the trees, the beasts, the rivers, the sea, the sky. And you know that Hermaeus Mora won't be able to get you in his realm after all. Because you know something he doesn't know. The true secret of the Skaal.

No when you edit your tags, just place "Race: Nord" and "Rank Bloodworks" after those three

Nope, you're allowed up to three character build tags, one race tag and one rank tag as well, so five in total. You can also have more unofficial tags if you like.

It's "Race:Nord" and "Rank:Bloodworks", no spaces in those two.
