Welcome fair Knights and Maidens of the realm, My name: Johhny Dimples. My Duty: to Spread the Wonderful and Powerful Ideas of the Great Tiber Septim Himself. I come to you, humble and contrite, to offer you a tale. A tale that starts many hundreds of years before you and I where even born. This tale is one of tragedy and adventure. Shall we begin.

     The Background:

Our Tale starts us off following a youthful Redguard who goes by the name of Thomas Emakres. He is  a sailor, much like his father, and loves to be out on the open waters off the coast of the great Redguard city of Stros M'kia. But this tale, unlike others, does not start with happiness and love. Instead it starts with destruction and sorrow. It all goes back when Thomas was a youthful man , around 14 or 15 years of age. When the Aldmeri Dominion invaded his home land. This war raged on for many months, taking many lives with it. One of these lives was that of Thomas's mother and founder of the local temple; Sonia Emakres. There was no time to mourn for his loss. Thomas was of age to fight for his country, and he dam well chose to. But Thomas's expertise lies in the area of sailing, not ground warfare. At the age of 15, Thomas had enrolled in the royal navy. He was determined to fight back the Elves, and reclaim his home land. To bad he never got to see his dream fulfilled. You see, one day when Thomas was on patrol off the Coast of Stros M'kia, his fleet was ambushed by the Aldmeri. They where mercilessly slaughtered, the Elves left none alive. Thomas was one of five men who made it out of the battle alive. They had escaped in a long boat and where heading for land. But due to the clumsiness of the crew, they had lost their navigation device over the side of the boat. They had no clue as to where they were or where they were headed. They could only put there lives in the hands of the Gods to protect them. Sadly that wasn't enough.

He began his new life with his hands bound behind his back and a lurching shudder shook the floor beneath him. Then it hit him, he was on a carriage. Drops of sweat beading in his forehead despite the cool air around him. With another jerk, the carriage came to a stop. As he looked up, he saw that he was not alone. Three other men sat around him, their hands also bound behind their backs, but one of them also had a ripped piece of cloth tied around his mouth, preventing him from speech. " My name is Thomas" he thought. That....that was the only thing he could remember about his past life. He didn't understand how this could be possible. His mind functioned without flaw, trying to calculate his surroundings and predicament. And yet he didn't know where he came from, or how he got here. His name is Thomas Emakres, and this is his story.

    The Build

The Race that is chosen should be significant to you, you should have the will to choose what race works best. But I chose to play as a Redguard, manly because for one I love them but the Lore also fits together very nicely.

Stone: Warrior Stone is a good choose for the early gameplay, but as you progress in the game, move onto the Lord stone or the Lady stone for the extra protection.

     Stats: 0/2/1

My reasoning behind this stat distribution is that you will want the health to stay alive in combat, but the stamina will be used for shield bashing and power attacks.

Shouts: For this build, I would recommend not using any shouts. After all, you are only a sailor in the Royal Navy, not some Dragonborn or chosen by the gods or something. You are just a commoner. But the choice is up to you as a player to play the way you want to play.

    Skills:

One Handed: There are many types of warriors, the brutes, the champions, and the assassins. The brutes tend to favor more heavy and destructive weapons such as the war hammer and battle axe. The assassins favor the art of moving unseen, they strike from the shadows with their deadly, razor sharp blades. And then there are the champions ( this is you ), these men are trained to use their strength and stamina to their advantage. They are quick and can deliver deadly and accurate blows. The ancients gift these men with Perk Bladesmen and Perk Fighting Stance.

Block: The ideal warrior knows how to use a shield to weaken the attacks of his foes. He is a master at maneuvering a broad shield. He can block arrows, and stun his enemies with a simple blow to the face or genital area. And for this the ancients and gifted him with a Perk of Shield Wall, Power Bash, and Deflect arrows.

Alchemy: Your one and only duty on board was to keep the crew health, you were of course a soldier but alchemy was his main purpose on board the Saint Mary Queen. The Saint Mary Queen was the lead patrol ship. Her duty was to keep the ports of Stros M'kia safe from the Invaders. The ancients seem to have taken a liking to this one, they have gifted you a vision into Perk Alchemist and Perk Physician. But you also know how to make deadly concoctions, for this the ancients have given to you the Perk Poisoner.

Light Armor: Now tell me, which would be easier, swimming with a plate of iron strapped to your chest, complete with matching boots and helmet. Or swimming with a light armor leather pad on your chest, along with fur boots and gloves.Thomas grew up wearing this stuff. He has grown so use to it, that he doesn't even feel it on him. The ancients have no doubt blessed him with Perk Unhindered and Perk Wind Walker.

Equipment: A full armor of Leather would be suiting to this build, but I know that some people like to spice up their characters. I tend to focus on the build then the looks. But a good looking character is nice too. So if you feel like you want to spice it up, then go right ahead. But I will leave it like this due to role play purposes. And a simple steel scimitar and steel shield will do the best for this.

    Gameplay:

    Combat:

Your training taught you many things, one of these things being patience. You learned to wait for your foe to make a wrong move, then strike out at him. Now if your opponent is smarter then the average blundering bandit, he will play safe, staying behind his shield or out of swords reach, when he does come within your range, give him a nice little tap to the face or genital area. This is bound to make him a bit distraught. While he is doubled over with pain, attack him with lighting quick jabs and slashes. And when your enemy is begging for mercy, give it to him by separating his head from his body with a powerful stroke through the neck.

    Roleplay:

Your objectives are clear, you want to cleanse this realm of the stench of the Thalmor. They are may not be the ones who invaded your home land, but they are high elves none the less, Altmer skum, and they will pay for the deeds their kin have committed. You also want the Imperials to win this revolution, and what better way to do that then to join them yourself. After all, a highly trained Redguard warrior can come in handy. You do not want to see anymore families torn apart by war. You will do anything in your power to end it. You will want to win the trust of the people, do a few odd jobs to gain there allegiance, then move onto becoming the town Thrall.

    Quests:

    1.) Imperial Quest Line

Thats about all I can think of that would fit this build. But, like I said, do a few odd quests for the people. You want to be well known so that you can be accepted to fight in the Imperial army.

    Final Thoughts:

Thank you all for checking out this build, and if you enjoyed it please leave a like. If you would like to add something please just comment below. Thanks so much and be expecting another build soon. Here is a little hint on my next build. " They wander far and wide. never welcomed anywhere. There gifts are great in the magic arts, they are shadow walkers". Good luck figuring it out.

The presentation is good, very good In fact but a few things stood out to be improved. I believe that the Imperials helped the Redguards for a long period of time at the start of the war and only pulled out after the treaty was signed. That would make a large part of the character seem a little odd especially joining the Stormcloaks. Also I saw a few little spelling mistakes in there, I won't point them out but I will suggest you read through it again and fix them up. One thing upon might want to change is your lack of a detailed perk spread. You've got perks listed but you don't say how many of each perk (such as Armsman) you used so if I took what you write literally I would be a level 10 character. I do however assume you maxed the few perks you chose so it's closer to level 30-40 but you might want to make it more clear.

I think many will agree this is a wonderful start to an exciting journey and would like to offer some constructive criticism .

    - Too much italics. Italics are used as an emphasis of something you wish to portray to your readers. Utilizing to much of it will undermine its usage.

    - Your first image; needs to be more powerful and able to solely draw in the reader. Deviantart is a good place to start.

    - I am not seeing any sort of Perk Distribution.

    - There are no tags on your build! Refer to the following page here for this.

I agree about the italics, and a perk spread will really help as well.

I sent a PM for some spelling fixes... add me and I can get them to you :)

Thanks Mate for the advice. I will reread it and fix up the spelling mistakes as best as I can. I just added a perk tree to the build, and I added some tags. I changed around the Story line involving the Imperials. I never knew that they helped i thought they fought against them. I hope you like the build now.

In Dragonborn DLC, The Thalmor aboard a ship in Solsthiem had leather armor instead of the standard elven gear so i see no reason why studded armor is a bad idea.

    A like from me.
