It also occurred to me; what about getting the Skaal fur armor? That would be even more realistic for Skyrim's climate.

That's actually a great idea using Skaal fur armor.

I have played one hunter like build before (Which was my own play through) and I really enjoyed it, but after around 10 hours of game play it soon got boring.

However this build has made me reconsider playing another hunter type play style. Your back story and the way you have become a werewolf is simply an amazing idea! This is by far the best hunter build I have seen on this site. Not to mention archery is my favourite skill to. This has made me think of a hunter in this game worth playing now. +1

PS: In this build if you try and avoid fast travelling unless you really need to, so that you can make your way to your destination while hunting. This would make a play through a lot longer, but sometimes boring, just though I would say it in case anyone wants to try not fast travelling. (When I say fast travelling unless you need to, I mean if you are out of arrows or something)

You could also just do carriages so it isn't too long.

I did do that on my hunter that lasted 10 hours, I forgot to mention in it in my reply. Thanks for mentioning it.

So, I'm roleplaying this build right now. I'm Skadi, a female Nord who's made it her mission to get to Solstheim and find her sister, Eydis, who had last mentioned she was traveling to the Dwarven ruin of Fahlbtharz.

Skadi, the Nord huntress just escaped back out of the ruin with her sister's journal and Skaal gear and will be wearing her dead sister's armor out of honor.

Skadi wears the Skaal Coat, with the Gauntlets and the Boots of the Old Gods. All mesh together well to amply make up for the Skaal armor's lack of smithing and enchanting improvements .

Armed with Valdr's Lucky Dagger and a Forsworn Bow, I am fairing well on Master so far.

Does anyone use mods in this build? Apparently a hunter type build without mods can be boring?

Also how enjoyable is this build?

Wow thank you all! I haven't checked the site in a few months and have a HUGE amount of likes added to my build(s). Glad you guys are enjoying it. I am about to get Skyrim on PC and may try some of the mods that a few of you have mentioned. Again thank you for all the positive feedback!
