Love your work and love this build! Gonna role with this if I ever get around to playing as a High Elf. (Intentional pun on the word "role.")

    An obvious +1!

Seems like i gotta get this dlc... Haven't experienced this, and i emagine there will be moments when you get into short range when invisibility, calm or maybe fear can be good backup spells since you have illusion, but, this is a truelly genius concept! Very cleanly made build! +99999, i'm not easily impressed this much by a build

this is roughly what my stat distribution is gonna be at lvl52, i decided to go with alchemy aswell, might've overlooked something though was kind of rushing it, i might pop adept destruction in there if i find i'm gonna need bolts, if someone has the time, i'd apreciate looking this over to see if i missed anything http://skyrimcalculator.com/349808

Your perk spread only goes up to level 47, not level 52. Henson was already kind enough to provide a level 60 perk spread, so I'd just take that and eliminate the 8 perks you like the least. Boom, instant 52 perk spread.

surely this is just a marketing trick by bethesda to get people to buy the expansions.
It might've just worked on me

This is a big inspiration for the current tactical control wizard build i'm working on! this opens up some nice oppertunities when having the advantage of distance! does the helm's effect work on atronach staves too?
    Otherwise i'd have a problem :P

Ignite with intense flames and augmented flames is great too, allows for nice pasive damage while leaving hands open for crowd control

Still one of the most unique and awesome takes on a Mage yet. Any build that can actually make me want to snipe enemies from afar instead of my usual MO of rushing them down without regard for life or limb is a huge success. I already can't wait to see all the builds you come up with for the next Elder Scrolls game years down the line. I better find you here doing what you do best when that day comes, Henson!
