I love this build and gamestyle and use it for my one character through the whole playthrough (no saviors hide though, looks a bit weird on my argonian :P) though i think i take this a step further and make it even more realistic (and challenging) below are some things i do to make it more real-ish

no HUD, i turn its visibility off completely so i have to really watch and listen for the sign of low health

only about 15-25 arrows and thats it, realistically you wont carry 100 and 25 is still a bit much but its good enough

sleep every day and don't wait for stupidly long periods of time, a few hours is fine but a day is just wrong

eat when you think you need to (this is hard since you don't need food so its easy to forget) like in the morning or at certain times of the day

i like the idea of the dagger and thats why i carry one around all the time but i tend to lean towards a war-axe for big fights. (bears, trolls ect) the bleed effect helps out a bit too.

only carry about 5 potions at a time (only five, not five of each) so you limit your supply and carrying capacity and dont have the infinite pocket to carry fifty health potions that are (in game) as big as your arm

i have more but i think i got the general idea across ^_^ and this is on console, not PC< so i cant use awesome mods and stuff to make it even better

again i like this build, nice work

Really like this build. Am currently roleplaying as a Nord hunter. Even named him Herne the Hunter (in reference to the BBC television series about Robin Hood). The character is still in its early stages. I'm considering whether I want him to be a werewolf. Definitely going for Kyne's token. Every bit helps. My current attire consists of a belted tunic, leather boots, imperial light bracers and a Mage hood. Cold climate attire consists of full fur armor, fur boots, fur bracers and a fur helmet. Weapons are a longbow, iron arrows, a steel dagger and an iron battle axe. Not the best kit, and the pace is slow and cautious. Potions and poisons are my main means of dealing (with) damage. Very satisfying when you pull things off, though.

Liked the part about the Gloves of the Pugilist. I think I'll try to add those to my attire. :-)

Does Dwarven/Bronze count as a normal arrow?

Personally I would say yes.  It's really a personal preference.  The main arrows I would ignore are glass, daedric, and ebony.  My personal preference is to start with iron, and work up to Nordic as the final (since I never activate dragons I don't get dragonbone).

I love a good hunter build. I usually end up playing The Valenwood Ranger ( http://tamrielvault.com/m/group/discussion?id=6452022%3ATopic%3A649340 ) as more of a hunter so I figured why not look up an actual hunter build. Good stuff +1!

All images have been restored for this build. While I try my best to keep the formatting as close to the original as possible, there are some unavoidable differences as a result of differing platforms... for this I apologize.

Also, please feel free to remove the 'Restored' banner at the end of the build--I put it there as a courtesy to let the reader know that the build has been worked on by somebody other than its original creator without his or her knowlege.
