Their names lost to legend, their legend lost to the stars. One now  walks among us.Their faces unknown to you and me, but still there. One the master of magic, the other trained in the ways of war by Trinimac  himself. Two of the elder race, two of the unchanged, the only two left of their kind. Two of the Aldmer the true Elder Elves.

    Story Behind The Build
In Skyrim's time of need Auri-El and Stendarr along with the other ancestors of the Aldmer got together to decide what to do to deal with the growing threat of dragons, vampires, deadra worship and civil unrest that threatened the land and it's people.

The debate went on. Until Julianos god of wisdom stumbled upon what seemed to be the best answer. Send one of them down he said. It seemed they were all in agreement, their plan, simple, take from their place in the stars one of the Elder Twins  and return them to Tamriel.

The Elder twins were two Aldmer, a brother and sister. They, thousands of years ago earned their place among the stars for their prowess in battle or their scholastic achievements and advancements to the Aldmer. The brother, The Warrior of the Elder Wood. The Sister, The High Mage of the Elder Crest. Both very wise, both very powerful but only one can return to Tamriel. Which one returns is up to you.

This build is part one of two. This build focuses on the brother, The Warrior of the Elder Wood. The idea for this build came to me when I was thinking about the high elves, why they are all such jerks, there are no high Elf warriors. The answer was because the high elves believe the Aedra are their direct ancestors. Then I thought, wait that's not true the Aldmer are the ancestors of the Altmer. Then it grew from there.
The Warrior Of The Elder Wood

As a honored warrior of the Elder Crest, an Aldmer organization dedicated to the betterment advancement, and protection of the Aldmeri people, beliefs, and sacred land , Etthelior An Aldmer warrior was indeed a force to be reckoned with. Placed in the stars  by Auri - El as reward for his. prowess in battle and many great achievements throughout  his life. The Warrior of the Elder Wood was trained in combat by elven god Trinimac himself he makes use of a deadly array of skills to slay his enemies. Alteration flesh spells to enhance his light  armor and for his weapon  he wields a powerful battleaxe to which even the mightiest of enemies fall.

Race: Altmer ( High Elf ). For role playing purposes you will be pretending you are an Aldmer and since the Altmer are the closest in look and ancestry of the playable races to the Aldmer it only makes sense.

Stone:  In the early levels you'll want to grab the lover stone as quickly as possible the skills for this build are stretched out across the three styles of combat and a 20% boost to just one of them won't cut it. Late game you'll want the Lord Stone. The 25 % Magic resistance and extra 50 armor rating
make using light armor on higher difficulties viable.

Leveling: 1/2/1 Magicka  / Health / Stamina. You're going to want to stop putting points in to magicka when it gets around 200 or so you won't need much more than that. Stop leveling stamina around ??? I found I didn't need more than that  for power attacks after that put the rest in health, you are a warrior after all.

Shout: Storm Call, Elemental Fury, Unrelenting Force Dragonrend, Become Ethereal.

Main Skills: Your main skills are Two Handed and light armor, but the Aldmeri were greatly skilled in the arcane arts and therefore  this build makes use of that through the alteration skill tree. It is used to give what would ordinarily be a simple build that little extra touch. It also gives the build survivability and that slightly Elven feel.

Two Handed: Your battle axe is your weapon of choice. You wield it with skill and pride. You wield it for the Aldmeri people.

Alteration:  Your magical abilities are what make you unique, what make you stand out and stand above the
other warriors. Your skill in alteration gives you a magical armor,it gives you magic resistance and spell absorbtion.

Light Armor:  You don't need that heavy clunky armor traditional warriors use. You are an Aldmeri Warrior and a member of the Elder Crest you move quick, strike hard, and fight with fury making light armor your pick.

Minor Skills: These skills are just as important as the major skills. Mainly the crafting skills with restoration as well.

Smithing: Auri - El was a master smith. You, trying to follow in his footsteps trained your self to work all different types of metal though you never came close to matching the skill of Auri - El you certainly surpass the capabilities of anyone currently living  in Tamriel

Enchanting: The Aldmer were the first to discover how to trap a soul in a gem. You learnt and eventually mastered the art of enchanting and now use it as an arcane edge over you opponents.

Restoration:  You may not be a master but you know a few spells, and you see no reason why you should not enhance your abilities in battle with what you know.
Role playing skills:  These are skills that you don't have to necessarily put any perks in to but I suggest leveling them up to stay true to the lore and history behind the character.

Speech: Not only were you a fierce warrior but you were also a scholar, as  a very wise individual you would likely have a way with words and have a higher knowledge than most.

Alchemy: The Aldmer discovered alchemy. Therefore there is no good reason you shouldn't be able to make a healing potion once in a while, even if it does only restore ten health.

I found leveling Alchemy to 25 was good enough for me and speech levels naturally so you don't really have to worry about it. Of course leveling these skills is totally up to you, I just found them to add to the emersion and RPing aspect of the build.

Perks: These are perks I found essential to the build.
    Two Handed: Barbarian 5/5, Sweep
Alteration: Magic Resistance 3/3, Stability, Expert Alteration
Light Armor: Agile Defender 5/5, Custom Fit, Matching Set
    Smithing: Glass Smithing
Enchanting: Enchanter 5/5, Insightful Enchanter, Corpus Enchanter
    Restoration: Novice Restoration, Regeneration

     The Summerset Isle

Note on Perks: Those are my suggested perks. Those take you up to level 37. After that what you do with your perks is up to you I suggest maybe getting the final perk in both Light Armor ( Deft Movement ) And the final perk in Two Handed (Warmaster)  maybe you wanted to grab the  Atrocity perk  (Alteration) or put a few perks in to the RP perks I previously mentioned ( Speech, Alchemy)

    Equipment:
    • Armor: Glass Armor, Glass Gauntlets, Glass Boots, Glass Helmet. (Legendary)
    • Armor Enchantments
    • Chest - Fortify Alteration, Fortify Health
    • Hands- Fortify Two Handed, Light Armor
    • Feet- Fortify Two Handed, Fortify Stamina
    • Head- Fortify Restoration, Fortify Magicka
Jewelry : Any Ring and Amulet of your choice.
    Jewelry Enchantments
    • Ring Of The Elder Wood- Fortify Two Handed, Fortify Light Armor
    • Amulet Of the Elder Crest- Fortify Two Handed, Fortify Health
    Weapon: Glass battleaxe (legendary)
    Weapon Enchantments
    Glass Battleaxe- Shock Damage, Paralysis
    Spellbook
    • Ebonyflesh (Alteration)
    • Paralyze (Alteration )
    • Close Wound (Restoration)
Role Playing : This section of the build is all about how to role play the character. This section also includes information on factions and recommend quests.

You will be role playing as an Aldmer who has been taken from the stars to help the people of Tamriel. That being said there are a few things that need to be taken care of. First of all you are not a high elf and therefore should not act like one. That means you are humble, you have nothing to prove therefore play nice. Second of all you are here to help the people of Skyrim. That means you can't prance around slaughtering any man,mer or beast that looks at you funny. Also you should do what ever is in your power to protect the civilians and guards and don't pick fights, only fight in self defense . Other than those  rules you can roleplay your character in what ever way you want, you could have a softer side and skip around picking flowers or catching butterflies, or you could play a tougher, character but always remember to have fun with it..

Dead is dead:  Now I never made this build to be a dead is dead build but I found that it could add to the emersion of the lore behind the character . Let me explain. This is part one of a two build series, part two being his sister The Master of Magic . So if you wanted to play DID then when this character died he would be returned to his place in the stars and his sister would be sent down to finish what her brother started (or reverse order, sister  then brother).

Factions To Join: Factions that add to the character.
    • Mages Guild: You can complete it if you want but really its just for access to higher level spells and training in Alteration.
    •  Dawnguard  ( Dawnguard  Side): One of the reasons you were sent down was to deal with the vampire menace, so that is exactly what you will do.
Factions to Stay Away From: These are factions you should not join for one reason or another be it contradicting the style(lore) of the character or another reason just don't join them.
    • Companions: The Companions started their legacy with a genocide of elves. Best not get mixed up with them. Also Being a werewolf would cut you of from the gods of the elven pantheon and pledge you to Hircine.
    • Dark Brotherhood: You are no assassin. In fact you hate them. They worship Sithis.
    • Thieves  Guild: You are an Aldmeri Warrior, Scholar and member of the Elder Crest but you are no thief nor guardian of a deadra ( Nightingale of Nocturnal).
Quests:  Just a few Recommend Quests
Main Story Line: Your whole purpose of being brought back to Tamriel was to deal with the dragons.
Walking Nightmare: Make sure you let Eurander Destroy The Skull of Corruption.
The Blessings of Nature: You can't stand to see withered beauty so you will restore the tree
Laid to Rest: Help stop a Vampire plot to take over morthol, I don't see why you wouldn't.
Avoid Quests that seem such as the other deadric quests etc.

Gameplay: This section contains information on the characters combat style, strategies, special moves and followers.

Combat: Your combat style is simple enough for a mudcrab to understand. Before battle Cast your flesh spell, run in to battle with large axe,  Crack some skulls.

Strategies: Your character is intelligent. You often like to think things through and developed strategies. You could make use of the terrain Eg. Fus ro dah some poor sap of a cliff if you happen to be near one . Or  use doorways to make fights 1on 1. Another  strategy I found myself using a lot I called "saving the best for last " eg. You run in to a large group of bandits your out numbered 9 -1 and the bandit chief is a big heavy armored axe wielding Orc. Then you paralyze the chief  use elemental fury to swiftly dispose of his lackeys then deal with him 1 on 1.
Followers: I had Erander as a follower for awhile, but found that he was constantly getting in my way, getting lost, or dying. So I ditched him and found it to be much better to play. But that is just my opinion, if you would like a follower I suggest Eurander.

    Special Moves:
    •  Wrath of the Elder
         Mass Paralysis + Storm Call

Your Knowledge of alteration grants  you the ability to Paralyze everyone around you, then you shout up to the sky and your thu,um is heard by Auri - El. Him self who conjures a storm at your request. Then the storm tears apart you enemies with lightning and thunder.
    • Army of Kynareth
          Animal Allegiance + Heal Other

You call upon any nearby animals to aid you in your fight then you return the favor by healing them while they bite and claw and tear at your opponents.

Well that's the build For The Warrior of the Elder Wood, Part 2 of my Elder Twins series,The High Mage of Elder Crest will be out soon see be sure to check that out when its released . I hope you enjoyed the build if you have any questions comments or suggestions about the build don't hesitate to leave them below, and make sure to like this build if you like it.

Nice build and I like the story behind it. I agree it needs paragraphing in parts, but if it's messing you about when you edit, what can you do  +1

Ning is weird like that. Google docs if you have a google account has a free  drawing form you can make to do the perk spread pics. Its really easy and quick.
