    This is an excellent first build, I really like this feel of being an Undead Hunter, a lot of room for RP. Well done! +1

    which armor would i use if i do not have dawnguard?

    Are you on PS3? Before Dawnguard I played quite a long time wearing Heavy armor, especially Ebony Mail/Ebony Armor + Ebony Gauntlets + Ebony Boots + Shrouded Cowl, but you need to place the enchantments differently as 2 pieces are already taken. I can't remember what light armor I used, because I play most of the time with modded armor :/ You could also use nightingale armor set (light armor) but the enchantments are already placed. Hope this helps a bit :)
