Thanks, thats a good name. I will use 'Nightfall' then instead :D I will update later with a screenshot.

Very nice! Nice to see a decent build for a change, some absolute garbage being posted at the moment.

Running a character very similar to this (minus smithing & sneak). I took Garmr death hound as well, was sad when he finally died. Whoever it was above that said you don't need the 'summoner' perks for normal necromancy was correct but it would possibly be more useful for the soul cairn summons, a pair of wraithmen work really well for necro-archers...

    +1

Thanks! Good you ask :) I use a lot of mods (I'm playing on PC) and the gauntlets and boots are from a mod called 'Dread Hunter Armor'. The sword I named Nightfall is also from a mod. When I wrote the build In Word I typed up a part about the mods I use, but apparently when I did the editing here, it was deleted. Shame on me. Here' s the missing part:

Fun part: If you play on the PC and you use mods, I recommend to use MOD FOR DARKER VAMPIRE ARMORS, WEAPONS OF THE THIRD AGE (Daedric Sword of the third age, looks like a darker version of Dawnbreaker), DREAD HUNTER ARMOR (for boots and gauntlets; heavy and light)

I will also add this to the build :) I'm glad you asked.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad I'm getting positive feedback. Luckily my Garmr hasn't died yet.

But 'Summoner' is basically just extending the range for summoning a body, so you can stay in your hidden spot and cast your reanimation.

Really, this is news to me...

So exactly how does it effect the raising spells? Does the bolt travel more? Does the bolt gain a splash effect or something if you don't aim it right?

Just tried it and paid attention to it: the spell travels until it hits something and if the distance is to large it won't have an effect. I was at Dragonsreach some steps in-front of the fire in the middle and the corpse was in-front of the main entrance. The spell had an effect. Then I moved one step backwards and the spell still traveled to the body but didn't had an effect. I have one point in summoner at the moment. So I think effect is depending on the distance and summoner extends that distance.

Have fun then :) I played the whole time with the normal vampire armor/gauntlets and boots and just recently switched to the pieces from the mod. It's mainly for the look ;)
