25th of Evening Star, 190 My name is Willow, and this is my first journal entry. I have to thank you papa for giving this to me for my birthday. Well, a little about myself... I'm 7 years old, I have long black hair, I love flowers if you couldn't tell because of my name, and I'm one of the smartest kids in my village. I am not the most popular person though, partly because I'm shy, and because everyone likes to make fun of my pale skin. Papa said my other birthday present is that he's going to teach me how to hunt with a bow, I can't wait! I'm sorry my first entry isn't so large, but I'll write more soon.

18th of Sun's Dawn, 193 ... I can't believe what I just learned... Father is... A vampire... And that means, I'm a half vampire or Dhampir is what my father called me. It makes sense why I'm so pale, and why people tend to hate and not trust me. Why didn't mom and dad tell me before? They said it was because I wasn't ready, but ready for what they didn't say. Dad said that even though I'm only a half vampire, I will still hunger for blood, but not as desperately as full-blooded vampires, and that he will take me out to feed on some animals soon... I'm not looking forward to that, though. This also has made me think... I was always taught from tales to fear vampire for they are evil blood suckers that would just kill you for their own enjoyment... And yet my father is the nicest person in the whole village besides my mom... What am I supposed to believe?

    Race: Nord

    Supernatural: Vampire

Standing Stone: Thief or Lover -> Apprentice or Shadow or Lord

Major Skills: Archery, Sneak, Enchanting, Illusion, Destruction

Minor Skills: Speech, Lockpicking, Light Armor, Pickpocketing

Shouts: Aura Whisper, Drain Vitality, Marked for Death, Slow Time, Soul Tear, Throw Voice, Whirlwind Sprint

    Stat Spread: 1/1/0

    Perks (Level 30): http://skyrimcalculator.com/#237537 - Archery

    Perks (Level 50): http://skyrimcalculator.com/#239276 - Archery + Magics

Willow is an expert at picking off enemies with her bow from a distance before they know she’s even there. Using her half-vampire blood to her advantage she is able to seduce many into doing as she pleases. Slowly learning how to become an even stronger vampire with the help of the Volkihar clan she can call upon her vampire blood to become a Vampire Lord. All these aspects make Willow a deadly character not to be rivaled with.

    Willow’s Equipment

    Head: Krosis or Any hood*

Armor: Royal Vampire Armor** / Vampire Armor (Black or White)

    Gloves: Vampire Gauntlets

    Boots: Vampire Boots

Ring: Ring of the Beast + Ring of the Erudite

Amulet: Bone Hawk Amulet + Amulet of the Gargoyle

Weapon: Ebony Bow + Steel Arrows

    Enchants:

Vampire Armor (Fortify Light Armor) - Vampire Gauntlets (Fortify Archery)

Vampire Boots (Fortify Sneak or Muffle) - Bone Hawk Amulet (Fortify Health)

Ebony Bow (Soul Trap or Fiery Soul Trap)

The Ring of the Beast/Erudite and the Amulet of the Gargoyle are from two quests given by Feran Sadri. You’ll be sent to kill two targets on each quest. After killing/finding both targets and returning to Feran you are allowed to keep both items.

[Roleplay Note: On my character Willow wears the Royal armor and hood for aesthetics, but you can exchange it for a Black or White set of Vampire armor to enchant towards a more stealthy set.]

    Quests & Factions

Factions: Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Volkihar Vampires

Quests: The Black Star, Pieces of the Past

The Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood are very similar to the life-style Willow has been living. Working with the Thieves Guild will allow you to make extra money for more arrows for your bow. The Dark Brotherhood takes interest in your skill at killing and your unique gifts as a vampire. Finally of course, the Volkihar clan is like a second family for Willow. As vampires they understand the hard times that have fallen on her. Their only desire is to help Willow in her growth as a vampire.

While all three groups show an interest in her none more so than Serana. Willow finds a sisterly love towards Serana as she is always looking after her. Though the two come from different upbringings the two are similar. Serana sees Willow as a little sister and looks after her,

    Vampirism

As a vampire you have enhanced stealth over normal enemies. This along with the magical powers your bloodline grants you will prove invaluable.

Hunter of the Night - Useable once a day Willow is able to become invisible to move away from a fight in which she is outnumbered, to find the perfect spot to pick off her enemies, or to avoid them completely. (Embrace of Shadows)

Seduction - Using your “charms” you influence an enemy to stop attacking for a short period of time. Allowing you to move past them. (Vampire’s Seduction)

Servant of Death - Use your vampiric magics to once a day raise a fallen enemy to fight alongside you. The longer you go without feeding the stronger your magic, and therefor the stronger your minion. (Vampire’s Servant)

Moonlit Eyes - Taking advantage of your bloodline you are able to see much clearer at night time to hunt down your enemies before they can see you in the darkness. (Vampire’s Sight)

You’ll need the following Vampire perks for your maximum effectiveness:

Power of the Grave - Detect All Creatures - Mist Form

Unearthly Will - Vampiric Grip - Summon Gargoyle

    Gameplay/Roleplay

    Gameplay:

    • Willow is not built for up close and close combat, rather she is highly trained to take her opponents out before they find her.
    • Stealing to help in times of need to help your coin pouch is necessary.
    • If you are in a situation where you are outnumbered call upon your vampire blood and summon forth your gargoyle minions to aid you.
    • There is no shame in running if it means survival. If Willow finds herself in impossible odds she will run.

    Roleplay:

    • When outdoors (in daylight) wear a hood to protect yourself.
    • Never let your hunger for blood reach level 4, you’re capable of dealing with the hunger until then due to your half-vampire blood.
    • Take Serana with you on missions with you since she is both useful and shows almost a sisterly love towards Willow.
    • Willow isn’t one for company so take no one with you on your adventures (besides Serana as mentioned above).
    • Though she hates towns, you visit and use your “charms” to get the most for your items from shopkeepers.

    Special Moves

Blood Mark - Mark your enemy to show their emanate demise. Call upon your vampire form and while they fight feebly for their pathetic life drain it away. (Marked for Death + Vampire Lord + Drain Life)

Soul Mauling - After your powerful shout slowly beginning to tear your opponent’s very soul apart bring forth your gargoyle minions to maul them to nothing. (Soul Tear + Summon Gargoyle / Requires: Amulet of the Gargoyle)

Vampiric Regeneration - When you find your health and magic running low channel your power to slow your enemies, then focus your magic to become invulnerable for a short period of time while you regenerate. (Slow Time + Vampire Lord + Mist Form)

Wow, this is one interesting build, seems like a true thief/assassin type of character although having only one skill for offense is quite odd but still cool. I like the bond between Serana and Willow and its awesome you even made a backstory for the character. +1 like for unique gameplay and me being a big fan for Vampires .

Some constructive feedback: I think you should post a bit more stuff from your Lonely Mists (prologue) in this post perhaps the 2nd entry after the picture, then bleed (excuse the pun) into your build. Also some special moves or tactics that make her unique would be nice, I like stealth archery and a vampire twist is great but why should anyone care that your a vamp or not, so maybe fuse vampuric drain with bow shots or some necromancy?

On a positive note, you have articulated very well an aesthetically pleasing build, I can imagine Willow in my head, just what she does that is unique I need you to fill me in. As stated before just flesh this build out more, make your perks to 50 and add more things that make Willow, well, Willow.

I love the back story on this. It really made me want to be Willow. I can picture her in my head so job well done on that. I think that maybe you should re-read your sentences to make sure they make sense. I had trouble with some of the text.

I don't create builds ( I am not creative) so I feel odd giving any critique as far as fleshing the build out more but Ben and TZ has some great advice.

You mention enchanting but it is not in the perk spread. This could be a very awesome build with more added. +1

I'll do that, thanks. I did consider more than just archery in the beginning but decided against it for a while. Looking it over and all the suggestions magic or melee weapons would be helpful. I'll look into maybe putting it into a level 50 spread. Perhaps over time she learns to perfect her vampire magics.

Special moves were considered too but I never could really think of anything unique but I'll try again.

Thank you for the suggestions Ben. I realized posting this I had't really used her vampire powers for much at all. I'll have time today to go back today and add in more details. Perhaps a higher level (50) perk spread. I'll throw in more to do with her vampire powers and using things to your advantage.

This was updated perfectly, I am so glad you took the advice on board and took that and made it your own. Very well done. I had already given you a like because of potential, now I see it fulfilled. Well done Sky! +1
