After nearly having been subject the candour of the headsman's axe, you ventured towards the College of Winterhold in search of Magic that would never leave you weak and helpless again.

Even with bound hands you knew the arcane arts can protect you and help you over come any obstacle.

Little did you know your journey would lead you down the path it has...

You are now a College of Winterhold drop-out, your methods have been mired as too steeply built upon abstract beliefs that have made other members of the College nervous and thus you turn your back on the Magic world in search of a new calling.

    ~-~-~-~

Upon entering solitude you witness a beheading, a fate you may have shared were it not for the events of Helgen.

Two choices stand before you, to seek revenge upon the man that at the snap of the fingers of bureaucratic ideologists was to kill you without a fair trial or even having charged you of any crime, or to befriend your foe to then usurp his position without his death being on your conscience.

You realise this is a vocation you must have, as to never be executed, you can become The Executioner.

    ~-~-~-~

    Premise

The Executioner is a character build based around the Headsman's axe with the execution hood.

How you obtain the axe or hood can be part of your journey to either kill Ahtar and take his axe or befriend him to the point he will trade it to you.

There are two ways to obtain two different types of 'execution hood':

The black one is obtained by starting the dark brotherhood quest line.

The white one I know you can get through the console command room "coc QASmoke" if anyone knows how to get the white hood without doing this please post in the comments section.

After having these two items, what clothes choices you make is purely up to you but this character will wear clothes and not light nor heavy armour. Clothes are cosmetic but also needed in order for alteration perks to work. All slots must be clothes.

    Variations

There are two build types which differ slightly in play style but in role-play can vary for the player how they see fit, neither are inherently good or bad but rather perspectives on how the player wants to interact with the world.

For fun I would suggest playing along with the choice elements but aside from that play either way that you want.

Race Choice: Any, I went Nord for +Two Handers but essentially any race will work as the mask will completely cover your identity and make you anonymous, sadly the game still recognises your race.

The two choices are named The Blood Seeker and The Justice Seeker.

    Level Up Points allocation: (B):2/5/1. , (J):1/5/2.

    Magicka/Health/Stamina

    Shared Perk Points (Level 50):

Two Handed: 5/5 Barbarian, 3/3 Limbsplitter, Champion's Stance, Great Critical Charge, Devastating Blow, Sweep.

Block: 5/5 Shield Wall, Quick Reflexes, Power Bash, Deadly Bash, Disarming Bash.

Restoration: Novice, Apprentice, Respite, Regeneration, (2/2 Recovery - Blood Seeker Only).

Alteration: Novice, Apprentice, 3/3 Mage armor, 3/3 Magic Resistance.

Enchanting: 5/5 Enchanter, Insightful Enchanter, Corpus Enchanter, Extra Effect.

    ~-~-~-~

Blood Seeker Only: Destruction: Novice, Apprentice, Adept, 2/2 Augmented Shock, Disintegrate.

Justice Seeker Only: Archery: 5/5 Overdraw, 3/3 Critical Shot.

    ~-~-~-~

    SHOUTS:

BOTH: Elemental Fury, Dragon Rend, Soul Tear.

Blood Seeker Only: Marked for Death, Drain Vitality, Become Ethereal.

Justice Seeker Only: Slow Time, Whirlwind Sprint, Unrelenting Force.

    Gear Enchants: (Level 50):

I gave these items custom names as they are simply pieces I liked the look of and then enchanted as following, you may wear any piece you like as long as it is enchanted and here are the enchants that I used.

A good tip for being able to quickly equip your gear is to have the same prefix name at the start but then using these names for the gear. "Your-name-here" Ring of Magic for example.

    Gear List:

Helm of Mana: Magicka Regenerates X% Faster. Increases your Magicka by Y points.

Robe of Chaos(B)/Calm(J): Increases your Health by Y points. Increases your Magicka by Y points.

Boots of Fury(B)/Force(J): Two handed attacks do X% more damage. Increase Your stamina by Y points.

Gloves of Stability: Two handed attacks do X% more damage. Increase your Magicka by Y points.

Necklace of Power: Two handed attacks do X% more damage. Increases your Health by Y points.

Ring of Power: Two handed attacks do X% more damage. Increases your Health by Y points.

    Possible Axe Combo Enchants:

Caution: Enchanting your axe will no longer allow the Elemental Fury shout to work, if however you do not fancy using the shout anyway, then enchant away!

    The Blood Seeker:

    Absorb Health, Soul Trap.

    Absorb Health, Paralyze.

    Shock Damage, Soul Trap.

    The Justice Seeker:

    Absorb Stamina, Soul Trap.

    Absorb Stamina, Paralyze.

    Magicka Damage, Soul Trap.

For Crossbow (Justice Seeker Only): Paralyze, Soul Trap.

    Spells Used:

    BOTH:

Oak/Stone/Ebony Flesh: This is a must as you are wearing clothes. Don't worry however, with the Mage Armor perk, you will be able to hold your own. Post level 50 taking dual casting helps make it even stronger.

Fast Healing/Close Wounds/Grand Healing: With the Perk Respite, not only do you recover HP but stamina too, this is a great spell to use after going face to face with a tough enemy having used all your stamina and almost dieing, your heal keeps you regenerated and ready for the next fight.

Paralyze: Finding yourself with a decent pool of magicka left over? Well then try some paralyze sniping, great for using on ranged attackers to stun them and giving you enough time to run over and engage them in melee or to even stun a melee opponenet to allow you to do even better.

    Blood Seeker Only:

Shock/Lightning Bolt/Chain Lightning: As a Blood Seeker you will not be using ranged weapons your range of choice is using lightning. If lightning fails you can either use a Paralyze or turn into a Vampire Lord.

Storm Cloak: The Melee Booster, as you will fight more often in melee and less often in range, your melee prowess is more powerful, do not be afraid to take on a room of opponents, using sweeps with your cloak as well as shouts will make you fearless.

    Choice Elements:

    Supernatural: Vampire

    Range: Destruction (Shock)

    Friendly Factions:

    College of Winterhold

    (Then get kicked out)

    Volkihar Clan

    Dark Brotherhood

    Enemy Factions:

    Dawnguard

    Companions

    Neutral Factions:

    The rest.

    Blessing Used: Akatosh

Standing Stone: Either The Lover Stone or The Lady Stone.

The Blood Seeker is a Vampire and as such benefits from all the stat bonuses that Vampires get while not in Vampire lord form. The Vampire quest line also allows the Ring of the Beast and Ring of the Erudite to become available and during combat at different times either can be helpful.

As the Blood Seeker is more heavily focussed on melee, his/her Vampire Lord form can be used for ranged combat in the case of where lightning damage is not effective. A lightning cloak is very useful in melee and helps with AOE damage while in melee in conjunction with Sweep. To top it all off with Alteration perks such as Mage Armor, casting Oakflesh(Or higher) helps counterbalance the armor loss of not wearing light or heavy armor. Enjoy the blood-letting!

    ~-~-~-~

    Choice Elements:

    Supernatural: Werewolf

    Range: Crossbows

    Friendly Factions:

    College of Winterhold

    (Then get kicked out)

    Dawnguard

    Companions

    Enemy Factions:

    Volkihar Clan

    Dark Brotherhood

    Neutral Factions:

    The rest.

    Blessing Used: Kynareth

Standing Stone: Either The Love Stone or The Lord Stone.

The Justice seeker prefers to rely more on taking down foes from a distance before engaging in close combat. He/she can open up combat with a few bolts from the better crossbows acquired while being a Dawn Guardian.

If in melee The Justice Seeker feels weaker due to not having extra dps from a Storm cloak that the Blood Seeker uses, then Lycan form can be used to tear through all enemies however even without destruction magic The Justice Seeker is a powerful warrior. Enjoy the beheadings!

Thanks man, the Justice Seeker is a lot of fun, I tried to balance both by having strengths and weaknesses in range being compensated somehow. Also check out the video uploaded! Enjoy

Cheers, I've tried quite a few builds on this site and tried to think up my own from some sort of in game inspiration. I also thought to just test can this be viable with no armor but melee and it seemed to work.

Great job, this. Cool idea using the black and white hood variants, and great discriptions. +1

All images have been restored for this build. While I try my best to keep the formatting as close to the original as possible, there are some unavoidable differences as a result of differing platforms... for this I apologize.

Also, please feel free to remove the 'Restored' banner at the end of the build--I put it there as a courtesy to let the reader know that the build has been worked on by somebody other than its original creator without his or her knowlege.
