     The Nord Warlord

This is an alternative to the Orc Stormlord build I already posted. Main differences are ice magic instead of lighting, Mastery of destruction, one handed and shield instead of two handed weapon and light armor instead of heavy.

The Nord Warlord is massive warrior wielding the power of Ice. He decided it was time for him to leave his village and join Ulfrik in his quest to destroy the empire. The Warlord is a proud and savage fighter who will fight till he dies and thus become a legend.

    Race :            Nord

Stone :           Lover Stone at first, then Lord or Atronach.

Major Skills : One handed – Destruction - Enchanting

Minor Skills : Block – Light Armor – Smithing –Conjuration - Restoration

Weapons  : The IceLord War axe : A steel war axe enchanted with ice and paralyse.

Armor: Scale Armor with Stormcloaks Officer Helmet

    • Concerning weapons and armor, I usually hate the Glass type but I think they fit this build because of their appearance. To me, they kinda look like they are made of ice. However, you would have to spend an additional perk to improve them, but you could get rid of another one easily (one lvl of agile defender, or recovery, etc.)

Shouts : Animal Allegiance – Call of Valor – Frost Breath – Ice Form – Marked for Death – Slow Time – Unrelenting Force – Call Dragon – Dragon Rend

Essential Quests: Join the Stormcloaks, Black Star (to help with enchanting)

    PERKS AND ATTRIBUTES (lvl 55)

    Major Skills

One handed: Armsman (5) – Fighting Stance – Hack and Slash (3) – Savage Strike

Destruction: Novice to Master Impact – Dual casting –Augmented frost – Deep freeze

Enchanting: Enchanter (5) – Fire to Frost enchanter – Insightful – Corpus – Extra effect

    Minor Skills

Conjuration: Novice – Summoner (1) – Atromancy – Elemental Potency – Twin souls

    Restoration: Novice – Regeneration – Respite – Recovery (2)

    Light Armor: Agile Defender (5)

Block: Shield wall (1) – Quick relflexes – powerbash – quick reflex – disarming bash

Smithing: Steel to Advanced (*possibly glass) – Arcane

     BUILD, GAMEPLAY, ROLEPLAY

    • The Warlord can unleash the power of ice on his enemies. He lures them on a magickal trap (dual casted runes) using his devastating ice attack. Those lucky enough to survive has to deal with his ice aura while getting hacked to death with the IceLord War axe.
    • The Warlord dwells into magic but he’s also a very strong warrior that can punish enemies with devastating blows and bash them in the face to throw them off balance. His attacks cause deep wounds and his opponents will quicky bleed to death. He is also an agile warrior that knows how to use his shield to his advantage.
    • When needed, he can summon Frost Atronach to his side.
    • Beeing an Nord, the Stormlord is well versed in the art of smithing. He knows quite a lot about magic lore too and can enchant his weapon by himself.
    • The Warlord can manipulate ice and frost in all their forms. He can hurt his opponents with his frost breath. His breath his so cold that he can even turn opponents into a solid block of ice (Ice form). He can make the temperature goes down to a point where his opponents become lethargic (slow time). The Warlord is a respected figure in Skyrim and his legend will be sung by bards for centuries. Even native creatures of Skyrim alre willing to follow him (Animal Allegiance + Call Dragon) and Dragons will face him instead of staying in the air like cowards (Dragon Rend). The warrior is even known in Sovngarde and dead warriors wont hesitate to help him if needed (Call of Valor)
    • The Warlord is a frightening fighter. Some people will even flee when they hear his terrible battle cry.

    Gameplay

Quite straightforward: You lure your enemies with ice attack and then chop their heads. In time of need you will use your Atronach friends to help you in battle.

    Roleplay

You had enough of the imperium persecution and decided to join Ulfrik and leberate your fellow Nords.

1.Followers : Anyone willing to fight against the empire
2.Join the Stormcloaks to get rid of the empire.
3.Kill any Imperial soldier you see
    4. Help any Rebel that needs you (exemple : Missing in Action quest)

That’s about it. Hope you enjoy it!

Any particular stat distribution you recommend between heath, stamina, and magika?

    I used a 2-2-1 stamina/magic/health pattern.

However, I personaly never add this kind of information (and skills taken per level) for one simple reason : I think that even if you play exactly the same build, you might not play the same way. This build use magic and melee attack but with this one I found myself using a bit more melee than I expected at first, moslty because I chose to use frost magic and many enemies had immunities. So I've put more points in stamina than expected. I also don't put many points in health personaly because I'm pretty good at avoiding attack and I find healing easy to do. Those choice might not fit your style of gameplay!

Thank you for the response. The only reason why I ask is just for a foundation as to what I should be aiming for in regards to final level results. I am currently doing this build and I am finding that enemies are having some immunities. I added some alchemy and have two axes for Ice and Shock in which i switch between the two. I felt that having the two is an ice storm especially when I am using magic. I love this build so far. I am trying to get my enhancements up far enough so I can have one weapon with both ice and shock for an amazing effect.

Again, I love this build so far. Cant wait to complete it. I am also attempting this as part of the hardcore mode where if you die you are done.

This is also the first time I am using the Nord Race. So far it has yet to disappoint.
