Note: This is my first build. Constructive criticism is appreciated.

After playing multiple builds during my time on Skyrim, I've gotten bored of the typical throat-slitting and skull-bashing. Khajiit still being my reigning favourite race ever since Oblivion, I decided to do a different playstyle with one. The idea of this build sparked in my head when I saw Henson's Ka Po' Tun. Without further ado, I present..

    The Pridestalker

    Not your typical household cat.

The playstyle of this build is a dual-wielding predator who stalks his prey in the shadows.

Race: Any race would work, but I strongly suggest Khajiit. You can go for an Argonian too, I suppose, but Khajiits are 10% more ass-kicking.

Stone: Lover stone early on, but switch to the Shadow stone later on.  (You can also go for the Steed stone until you get Conditioning if you choose to use heavy armor.)

Major Skills: Sneak. The Pridestalker stalks his prey, and analyzes it. The Pridestalker is capable of rolling in the shadows, hidden from view, waiting for the opportune time to pounce.

One handed. You will be dual wielding war-axes or swords. These will represent your "claws".

Alchemy. This will be used instead of restoration. Alchemy will also allow you to make poisons. After all the time in the wilds, The Pridestalker has learned to use nature's gifts to create deadly poisons and useful potions.

Minor Skills Archery. The foes out of the Pridestalker's reach, he ambushes with a deadly shot with an arrow coated with poison.

Light armor. You need to be light on your feet to catch up with your prey. Heavy armor would also work, but the Steed stone should be used until the Conditioning perk is obtained.

    Level 40 Build

Shouts: The Pridestalkers takes pride in his position as Dragonborn. He uses the power of the Thu'um often.

Aura Whisper. This will allow the Pridestalker to locate his prey before he is noticed, which gives him the chance to ambush.

Unrelenting Force. The Pridestalker is able to unleash a mighty roar that knocks even the strongest enemies off their feet.

Whirlwind Sprint. The Pridestalker is able to catch up with its prey in a matter of miliseconds.

Elemental Fury. The Pridestalker is a predator with unmatched strength.

"You've picked a bad time to get lost, friend."

Playstyle: The Pridestalker is a warrior who waits for the opportune moment to lash out at his target. Utilizing sneak, the Pridestalker is able to

stalk his prey from the shadows. Instead of using sneak offensively, the Pridestalker uses it strategically, planning his next move.

The Pridestalker is chaotic neutral. He will do whatever he thinks is right. This is the player's decision.

Factions: The Pridestalker is a warrior of honor. Therefore, he will join the companions early on. Lycanthropy should be cured on a roleplaying aspect, but it can be kept. This is up to the player.

Stat Distribution: Early on, you would like to focus in stamina. Place points into health and stamina at a 1:2 ratio. When you feel like you have enough stamina to chase down your prey, start focusing on health at a 3:1 ratio.

"Once I've got my eye on you, I'll never let go."

Gear:  Early on, the Pridestalker will wear any armor found on his past prey's cold, lifeless corpse.

My equipment at level 20 was:

Stormcloak Officer helmet / Bracers / Boots.

    Forsworn armor.

    Orcish war-axes / swords.

    Forsworn bow.

    Ring of the major squire.

    Necklace of health.

By end-game, you should have Dragonscale armor. I'm planning to keep the Stormcloak Officer helmet and bracers though, since they look pretty badass.

End-game weapons should be a pair of Dragonbone war-axes / swords.

If you have Dawnguard, you can side with either  faction.

Again, this is the choice that the player has to make.

I did not include smithing or enchanting either, as these skills make some players feel over-powered, while it may not for other players.

This build is free for the player to customize, which is why I enjoyed playing this build so much.

Oooo really like this! been looking for a Khajiit build as I am trying to make a character for every race at the moment +1.

As for this Argonian vs Khajiit thing... I'd have to go with Argonian... pretty sure Ponty's Histmaster (also what I chose for my Argonian build) can take out just about any Khajiit!

    Thanks mate.

I've heard of The Histmaster before, and I think it's a great build. I never would've thought of the idea of using Histskin in that way.

Pay no heed to the peasants who prefer scaly sewer-dwellers over something as majestic as a tiger-faced Khajiit. PEASANTS. MAJESTIC! Also, insta +1 as soon as I laid eyes on that beyond-awesome first pic (where is that from?). Oh and the build itself is pretty awesome too; it seems like a cross between my Manticore and Henson's Ka Po' Tun, which both rule by default for being Khajiit builds. MAJESTIC.

Hi Varus, nicely done build matey!

I've noticed that your discussion thread has been rather soiled by the blogs beast racists...

I'd be more than happy to clean it up for you if you wish to bring things back on topic. Just reply back to this message and either myself or Ponty will cleanse the thread for you. Welcome to the group mate!

    Haha, thanks Mason!

That'd be great. I think that all of this heated debate belongs in a seperate thread.

    Cheers, Snakes!

All of the pictures are from Guild Wars 2.

I just saw your Manticore, really awesome build. Definitely going to give a run sometime.

I agree, Khajiits are capable of so much more than petty thievery and throat-slitting.

Just reached level 50. I'll try to add more details later on when I've completed my playthrough.

    This build needs more...
