Huh, I never noticed the shock perks taken...not sure why a lightning cloak would benefit a ranged class unless there are melee casters...I understand the frost cloak for the melee that wanna rush you...the world may never know...until the next TES that comes out to bring Mason back to the forums.

The Nightstalker is for a vampire playthrough I did of this build some time back, I dropped fire and kept shock so that you can still bind two elements to a bow (check out a Supple Ancient Nord Bow, it works/looks great for this character), I also included perks for the bound bow for huge stopping power at early levels and to capture souls so no need to run fiery soul trap.

Vampire Arcane Archers have the Champion of the Night 25% illusion bonus, which makes Fear/Frost bows absolutely deadly (scare a mammoth away with one shot).

Nightstalker doesn't run cloaks for damage (no disintegrate/deep freeze) she uses minions instead, the perks are only taken for additional bow damage. If you run a dark elf like I did you can probably consider skipping the speech perks as well as dunmer start with 25 destruction.

Get a bound bow and a frost atronach up and the world pretty much crumbles around you...

Thank you for getting back to me.

As of right now i am Level 15 with the Merchant perk and about 53 Enchant. Running Bleakfall Barrows for more souls, then after that hitting up Fort Amol for the bow. Havent touched Destruction or Light armor yet either.

I tried giving Faendal my soul bow with some petty gems but he does not even fill any of them. How were you guys able to do it?

Not sure if i am going to add the shock perks, although it would make a great dragon/ mage killer bow coupled with damage magicka.

I think if you take his hunting bow and temper it before enchanting, he'll use it instead of magically creating a default hunting bow and using it.  I haven't played my 360 in a while, so I forget how to make the unmodded game play along with archer followers.

they'll use any combitation of bow and arrows as long as the base damage doesn't go over 23. Meaning you can give them an imporoved Ebony Bow and use it as long as they only have Iron Arrows in their inventory. But the moment they get hit by any kind of arrow they'll go back to the Hunting bow until you remove the recycled arrow they were using after pulling it off their dumb skin.

Just received the bound bow time and my damage is 2x that of my foreword bow. 67 vs 31. Didn't think it was that powerful and I don't get the mystic binding perk yet

This looks like a very good build, and I will admit I am a new player to Skyrim, I had a question bout the bows:

    Bow of Burning Souls

    Soul Trap

    Fire Damage: 15 Points

Fiery soul trap is obviously a great enchantment for an entry level arcane archer. Expect to use this blow plenty during the rookie levels for harvesting souls. Augmented flames will give the effect a little boost.

How does a lower level character get a bow with two enchantments?  Or are some of the enchantments on other items?  Thanks
