Well, there you go. I never had problems getting around enemies even in dungeons (and if I do, I just use 'Become Ethereal', retreat, and hide to recover and get a Sneak shot on an enemy). I personally think Light Armor is best used for hit and run (melee style), and Heavy Armor for pure melee frenzy. Of course, we all know HA is inferior to LA for the reasons I stated before (and it's obvious because there's an armor cap).

Although, the novice destruction spells become useless once you get both the Ranger and Quick Shot (on top of Power Shot). So, once that happens, I just take the perks from Destruction (assuming I invested any into it) using one of the Black books from Solstheim and invest the perk(s) into anything else.

Ha Ha Ha. This is funny.

Have you ever been hit with a full-blown dragon attack? Most players here play on master. Tis the best difficulty without getting yourself frustrated. Sure, you'll survive on 140 armor on adept, but I'm pretty sure you won't survive a fire/frost breath on master with that armor. And on the off-chance that you do, then you won't survive another.

I mean, sure, you can go find yourself some cover when the dragon attacks, but when you're out exploring, you might find yourself in a situation when there is no cover, and the best you can do is take the damage and hope that it doesn't kill you and you'd have enough magicka for heals, or health potions. Most people here (if not all) play DiD, and that is NOT ideal when you're starting to enjoy yourself and then suddenly get killed.

Yes, you can sneak your heart out, but for others who don't (including me; I could, but I didn't) getting as much armor as you can have meant the difference between life and death. And remember, you don't get those perks (power shot and esp. ranger) early on; and with multiple enemies, or a dungeon/bandit boss, armor can come in handy when you need to take damage, bash their face, get back, and start kiting again.

I agree, though, about your "no grinding; just play" idea. And about HA or LA, I believe its a matter of preference/aesthetics. I myself just trained my speech perk up to 50, then everything went naturally. I just get armor training when I'm in town, (sometimes; sometimes I forget ). Eventually I hit the armor cap with just my Elven armor. Then I saw that Dark Templar build, and fell in love with the Daedric armor with DA hood combo, and so switched my armor to heavy.  I was pretty high level by that time (40-50ish, and finished the main and dawnguard quest; there was no dragonborn DLC at the time) so with nothing else to do, I just smithed my way to the Daedric armor. And when DB came (and Legendary Mode after that), I got a chaos enchantment, and switched to legendary mode.

For DiD players, preparation is everything. You don't have enough armor, you die. You run out of ammo, well, you're pretty useless (happened to me once; I just ran back to the nearest town ).

I guess I somehow did well in the beginning.

Hello, new to the game and decided to go with this build. Have a problem tho. Not sure how do you guys afford to train speech at low levels up to 50.

Collected enough ingridiens to make 30 potions( butterfly wing + blue flower) and went to Speech trainer, but after seling them all I have enough money only to train speech to only lvl 30 or so. Each potion sells for like 80-90, with 30 potions thats a bit over  2,5k, but to train from 15 to 50 in speech i need something like 10k. So what am I missing here?

Also Im a bit confused after reading all the comments cos some say to use money form potions on speech training, other say about getting around 100 soul gems. So im not sure what to do exacly.

Buying petty soul gems and enchanting random weapons should help speed things up. To quote Mason:

"3000 gold nets you 100 empty petty gems to start your game with, playing normally from here and just collecting gems as you play will put you close to 100 enchanting."

"Graywinter Watch just to the east of Whiterun holds Froki’s bow guarded by two trolls. The trolls will enter their usual fit of rage when you enter the cave but due to the cells unique design you can easily stroll past both of them grab the bow and walk out before they lay a finger on you. A risky tactic for a level 1 ‘dead is dead’ (RuneRed) player but the stamina damage enchantment is incredibly expensive and will provide a ton of early cash once disenchanted, we are after all creating a character that just buys filled soul gems without thinking."

In short use the money from potions to buy soul gems and fill them yourself. Then use them to make stamina damage weapons to sell for the training.

It needs to be blue butterfly wings, not the regular butterfly wings.  Big difference in value.

Yeah, i know, but it still is not nearly enough to train speech if I sell 30 of potions from blue butterfly wings(around 80-90 per potion).

But after making 30 potions, and then killing stuff to fill the soul gems wont I "miss" a lot of levels(to train 5 speech skill points per level at vendor)  since leveling at first goes pretty fast? Or should I not worry about that?

I just got Fiery soul enchantment, how should I enchant my bow? I mean the duration. With 1 second or 5? Or something in the middle?

For soul trap? Might as well do one second, two tops, since every shot reapplies the spell.
