Yeah, the Witch Hunter should definitely be up in Cat 80. Come on people! Like the Witch Hunter!

I think the majority of my builds were posted in your absence so I can see how you missed them.

You Witchhunter sounds awesome. Taking the concept even further using an ancient Lich's mask to power yourself up and take out even more undead.

are the archmages robes a possiblity instead of the master robes?

Archmage's Robes offers a 15% reduction on all spells cast, +50Magicka and +100% Magicka regeneration. Master robes provide Magicka regenerates 150% faster.

the 15% cost reduction and 50 more magicka would make up for the -50% magicka regen. therefore making the Archmages robes superior. right?

Well, obviously the Archmage's stuff is superior, but that isn't what this build is about. This is about boosting Magicka regen, not additional Magicka and spell cost reduction.

Hey Twisted, are you gonna do a revamp for this? The Apprentice could side with the vampires, take Necromage and the ring of the erudite, and also double the apprentice stone using Mason's "advanced atronach" idea but instead on the apprentice stone to achieve even more magicka regen. I was always wondering if a constant highborn effect could be created, eg. a 1000% more Magicka regen. It could be possible using your items and skills. Imagine the possibilities... A build with such a fast regen but 200% weaker to magic. Hardcore glass cannon. Just some ideas. In fact, if somebody hasn't done it I might write a small guide on boosting Magicka regen in Tips and Tricks.

The Archmage robes were what I was using before I got the master robes, and the switch felt like an upgrade. I wanted this character to be different to typical mages; no huge magicka pool and no cost reduction and to me it is the superior way to play a mage.

Never running out of magicka really makes playing a mage enjoyable, you never get those moments where you have to hide behind a rock for 5 minutes waiting to regenerate your magicka.

I have considered it several times but I'm not sure how much it needs it. I'm also busy developing new builds that I don't want to put off. I may well do it in the future, but probably not soon.

Also, creating an advanced apprentice stone only doubles your magicka regen, there is no way to increase the weakness that I'm aware of.

Oh, didn't know about the apprentice not providing double weakness. I thought I'd read something like that on one of Adrik's builds possibly, one that uses the advanced apprentice.

You are not going to leave it at 99 now, do you?
