Wicked sick! The writing on the perkspreads is a bit small though. Next time you need a perkspread done, let me know. I'll help you.

Holy shit man, thank you! I do my best with phone apps, but it never turns out all that great...so I would really appreciate that!

Thanks! I’ve been thinking ever since you posted the build about how I could fit Annabel Lee in. Something with Serana, a vampire build, which- I’ve never done a vampire character, and Furrion’s sacrosanct build made me want to try it anyway. But it sort of fits, when she was made a daughter of Coldharbour. I’d start as a vampire, like I’ve been searching for Serana all this millennia. I don’t know if that’s already been done before though? I haven’t done a search to find out if it would just be redundant.

Nice build and all, but if I don't say this I will EXPLODE: The Daedra in charge of plagues and illnesses is Peryite, not Namyra.

Very true. However, similar to how Peryite is the daedra of "order" despite jyggalag existing, his sphere of influence also overlaps Namira's but with subtle differences. He is the daedric prince of pestilence (as in the kind of sickness that affects everyone, regardless of class) while Namira is associated with the "beggaring gifts" which includes disease, a gift she's been known to share with mortals.

Plus, the historical influence we choose (the bubonic plague) was spread by death and decay while our literary inspiration (The Masque Red Death) is, like ilanisilver mentioned, usually interpreted as more of a societal entropy that is ironically exacerbated by the hedonism of the rich and their attempts to insulate themselves from the plight of the rest of humanity. That, combined with the fact that Namira is also the prince of the kind of gross creepy crawly that would spread such disease, as well as the more human undesirables (like the dirty and the poor) who this character believes himself to be there champion of, made her the obvious choice. Even before considering the fact that she evokes much more respect than Peryite.

As for the build itself, it's good, just not something I would use because I don't really enjoy using necromancers.

Honestly, neither do I...which is why I often take myself with taking things I find boring (like Conjuration, sneak, archery, ect...) and develop builds that make them more challenging and exciting to play. Shinjin actually said the same thing and it took me a while to convince him that I could make a Necromancer that was fun. Lol. Though once we started playing through it he became hooked! We put a lot of effort into engineering it so that you never really find yourself hiding behind your zombies. Just about every strategy and tactic is rendered ineffective unless you remain in the thick of the combat along side your zombies.

I'm kinda freaking out because I remember writing the second part, and that you quoted it proves I did, but it's not showing up on my screen.

You know, having visited Poe's old dorm while in Pennslyvania makes this even better. You know, this makes me want to make a build based on Phantom of The Opera, one of my favorite musicals

Actually, I've noticed that very few people take advantage of the narrative potential of a vampire's lifespan actually. It's a shame too, because it allows you to let your characters experience real tragedy in their past life. I played with the concept in my Blood Reaver build, but it was far from a love story (it was revenge). I don't think you'll find another build that's quite as genius as an Annabel Lee inspired vampire love story. I love that poem, BTW. The meter and cheerful rhythm of the poem contrasts the events it describes so well. It really drives home the happiness he lost. That might be an interesting time to include in the build.

Let me PM you, I'm curious about your gameplay ideas... But I don't want you to spoil them publicly. Lol.

That would be really cool. I could see him as a sneak based character that uses traps.

Tysoyasha, this build has inspired me to make two builds based on poe. The builds will be based off the raven and the tell tale heart.

Awesome man, I'm glad I could inspire such cool ideas. I'm curious about the gameplay you'd use for those stories, but let me shoot you a PM. Since I'm sure everyone is tired of seeing this build in the daily feed. Lol.
