I was deep into MKX a while back, and I have played and talked with "pro" players. Yes, they are having fun. I feel like there is less pressure in a fighting game tournament compared to a Moba tournament, but maybe that's just me. I haven't watched a Moba tourney, so I wouldn't know.

I feel like, as this is a site for a RP game, the replies will be a bit biased, and mine is no exception. I get fun out of games when I see progression and I feel attached to it, which competitive gaming doesn't really seem to have. However, getting better and better at a game is progression, so maybe they're experiencing a similar feeling that I'm sure we all feel when playing Skyrim, but about themselves not the character. But then again, MOBAs and that shit is on a different level, so I have no idea what they think.
