BETHESDA NEWS: This Week From Bethesda

  • June 13, 2016

Hello Vault Dwellers, it's Todd here with yet another TamrielVault discussion!

As you've all likely seen by now, Bethesda's E3 Showcase has given us a lot of awesome stuff to look forward to! From a functioning Pip-Boy to a future TES game, we've got a lot to talk about! Many of our members have already posted some fantastic dicussions related to these announcements, so this is going to serve as a hub for all announcements, updates, and other news concerning all Bethesda news! That being said, let's start talking about some of these announcements!

    • Skyrim Remastered- Perhaps one of the most exciting things (in my opinion) that Bethesda has announced at this eir Showcase is the remastered version of TES V: Skyrim. The remastered edition will offer mod support and will boast a massive graphics overhaul, which I think all of us who play on an Xbox One or PS4 will gladly look forward to! Be sure to leave your thoughts on Skyrim Remastered on the discussion linked above.
    • TES VI Confirmed- To me this has been the most exciting bit of news that we've been given. While no details have been divulged yet, Todd Howard himself has confirmed that the folks at Bethesda have been working on TES VI. As of now all of the details are purely speculation, but I'm sure you've all got some ideas as to what the next game in the Elder Scrolls series might consist of! Be sure to leave your ideas in the linked discussion.
    • Pip-Boy Smartwatch- This type of thing might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for a collector of electronics and gadgets like myself this is a dream come true. A functioning Pip-Boy? Yes please! The device links to your smartphone via bluetooth and allows you to answer text messages and calls direction from its fully-functional custom user interface. I've already put in a pre-order, and I'm interested in hearing what you lot have to say about this! Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below!
    • More Fallout 4 DLCs- If you're like me and have enjoyed all of the current DLCs for Fallout 4 then you're going to love this! Bethesda has announced three more DLCs for their most recent Fallout title, the first of which is arriving NEXT WEEK! I'm very excited to see what fun things we can all build with these new add ons!
    • Fallout 4 VR- This is some intereting news. Fallout 4 will be available, in its entirety, in virtual reality. Now all of your dreams of having your face torn off by a deathclaw can come true!! What do you think about this? Let's hear your opinion!

So what do you all think about these announcements? Are you excited or couldn't you care any less? Let's hear your thoughts! I'll be updaing these as the days go on. Feel free to comment here with any news updates/links and I'll update the thread and give you proper credit. Thank you for reading!

Eh, Dishonoured is the only thing other than Skyrim Remastered that I'm interested in, well I suppose Elder Scrolls Legends as ell but I don't think we got enough information related to it.

I couldn't be more dissapointed in the new DLC for F4, I was hoping for something that would get me into the game again but, yeah no that didn't happen. And VR for it is possibly the stupidest thing they've done yet, minus of course my usual spiel about the pre-made backstory.

So really don't care much for Fallout 4 news, they had a chance to sway me over with E3 (and it really wouldn't be hard, with Mods I'm already at the line), Elder Scrolls news is fantastic but the ES:6 news...well it can't be called news really. I'm more interested in everything not mentioned in this thread really, ES:L, Dishonoured 2, even Doom and Prey

Is VR still expensive? I'm hearing so much fuss about it lately that it's starting to sound like something much more accessible and common. I even read an interview a Brazilian magazine did with Steven Spielberg and he was talking about making VR movies!
