Well the cat's out of the bag! Bethesda announced at E3 that Skyrim Remastered will in fact be hitting shelves on October 28th this year.

    Check out preview footage here!

This gives console players a reason to be psyched since they'll finally be getting access to mods that PC gamers have had for years. So, console players, are you purchasing Remastered?? If so, let us know if you'll be preordering it or scooping it up later around the holidays. And if you are buying it, what's the mod you want to download most? And modders, feel free to leave you suggestions here!

    Bethesda just tweeted:

If you own and all its add-ons or own Legendary Edition on Steam, you'll get a free upgrade to Skyrim Special Edition on Oct 28

I'm guessing that's for PC players? Seems very cool!

This is amazing. I wonder if we'll be able to play our old characters in last gen?

I will preorder it... but I hope for 2 things... 1. Bethesda sorts out how console mods will b policed. 2. It comes with either most or all of the dlc (hearthfire I can live without (sorry Vazgen))

I wonder if that will be optional, because it would literally kill my laptop. I've installed mods to make it look worse, plus a couple of others things, just to get it to run at a stable frame rate.

Either way, looks like I'm buying this game for the 3rd time

This means Henson no longer has an excuse not to remake his Dragoon.
